Yeah, there are probably better burgers elsewhere (I actually like McDonald's burgers as fast food burgers go.) But sometimes I just want something reliable and at McDonald's I know what I'm going to get. I've lived in this area for years. Some years I've visited more frequently than others but I usually visit this store at least a few times a year--usually the drive through. I don't know when they did their renovation. I think it was years ago, but my first time inside was a couple weeks ago. The "new" interior is grey and sort of industrial. It still feels like a McDonald's but the seats at the side window feel sort of cafe-like. I'd sort of consider coming in the morning just to relax with a cup of something. Today, I had a taste for a burger but nobody else in the house did. So, I decided to go to McDonald's because I knew what I'd get. However, I tried the Big Arch, something new. I had to wait a few minutes; so I think it was cooked fresh. Yay! I got home and tasted it. Nice burger! Yes, it's basically a double quarter pounder with a different bun and sauce, but it's a good burger nonetheless. At $8, it's a pretty good deal. If I get it again, I'll ask for less sauce, more pickles, and bacon. If they had a deluxe version with slices of tomato, I'd be happy. read more

New look, same old lackluster service. Placed a mobile order. Arrived at the 2nd window. The worker says there are a few things holding up the order, mainly fries. They have me pull into drive through spot 1. They made spots knowing that the service would be slow. I think that says it all. I wait for 10 minutes. Three or 4 cars go through the drive through. Finally someone comes out and hands over bags of food. Make it home in under 5 minutes and guess what? All the food,including fries,are cold. That's the last time I will be going to this location. This is the worse ran fast food location I've ever been to. If you come early in the morning they will say they don't open until 5 am, though it is advertised for 24 hours. At times if you come before 6 am they will say they are closed for maintenance. It is an ongoing issue. Service when you get it can be horrendously slow. read more

I avoid this McDonald's any chance I get. I live 1 minute away but I'd rather drive to Jessup for McDonald's. almost always they are serving food that is not edible. I don't even know how it's legal let alone how they continue to do it. I use to be able to go during a certain time of day with a different shift/crew and would get much better food service but that has changed. twice this week I have taken a bite of my burger and had to spit it out. one of those times I was actually gagging. i have no idea how this location is still open I know I'm not the only one getting these results. read more

According to the young lady this morning at 5:20am, they don't open till 6am. 9/10 the person taking my order when they do manage to open before 6am (which is inconsistent) never has a decent attitude. Short answers with no response to the words I utter (thank you). It's a wonder how McDonald's can remain in business with places such as Chick-fil-A around. McDonald's could take a page from their book and put the customer experience as a high priority. These jobs are meant to teach you how to work, have customer service and have some responsibilities. I have lived in Severn for 15+ years and never have I ever had a better McDonald's experience than tonight. It was a Friday after bar close so I did not have high expectations BUT the person who was at the window at 130am tonight was fantastic and was a fresh breath of air that I think everyone needs when they order late night drive thru.. By far the worst place I've ever been too . I waited outside for over 30mins and the general manager Amoaka . Lies and said that she just came in when I seen both managers here with a lot of hair in a black scarf and the other older lady with glasses all pass me as I was in the direct front window where yu are suppose to get food . I have been here numerous times but they always "miss a burger" and played stupid. Or they would charge you a L meal but gave you medium fries. It has happened more than 6 or 7 in this year. Yuck. This location has those self- ordering kiosks. I wanted to pay cash and the female at the counter gave me attitude because I hadn't known to pull the small slip of paper out of the kiosk. Please, please, please fix the accuracy/quality of drive-thru orders! The last several visits to this McDonald's ended up with several mistakes on each order. These mistakes caused several sandwiches to be inedible by our family members; which provided them nothing to eat, and wasted our money. Other mistakes like incorrect condiments or sandwiches just left the consumer dissatisfied, but atleast they were able to eat something. We've seen countless mistakes regarding our order on the receipt, a couple issues (rare) from the cooking line, and several incorrect items issued from folks at the drive-thru window. A vast majority of these issues go away when ordering at the counter. We hope this review helps. This is our local store and want it to succeed! read more

It doesn't take much to make a customer happy. This location has yet to figure it out. The employees at this location have no problem saying no to their customers. They can't make a cheeseburger happy meal there. The app does not allow it. When I asked them to put a slice of cheese on the burger they said they can't make any substitutions with a mobile order. Come of you want to be disgusted! I order a classic Ice Carmel Coffee and a Hot Fudge Sundae. The Ice coffee was barely filled up. I took three sips because I could not believe, how in the world do you forget to put coffee in a COFFEE drink!!!!!! It was a cup of milk and sugar. The second issue, the hot fudge. Bruh! Since my first review of this place it has gotten ridiculously bad. They consistently mess up my orders, and today I finally decided that I can't continue to come to this location. I pull up to the drive thru where the young lady rushes through my order (premium crispy chicken sandwich), without even asking what size I would like to order. I try to request a large, but no answer from the drive through. I pull up to the window, but at this point I just wanted my food. I end up with a small meal, with soggy gross fries. I pull off with my food after seeing that everything looked decent. I get to the light, and decide the fries were horrible so i made the move for my sandwich, and when I open it up BAM!!! A chicken sandwich with no chicken on it...like forreal? You would think the first thing you'd put on a chicken sandwich would be the chicken!! Now I have to turn around and go back, and when the manager approaches the staff, they try to tell her I didnt get it from there store...lls while she was clearly holding the receipt from about five minutes prior. She then holds me up further to yell at the staff, instead of just giving me the refund that I requested as soon as I walked in. So I'd wait in line it's all good, tell the cashier machine is out of paper, she doesn't care, ok it's fine it's not my business, waited like 15 min my order is up, so I grabbed it and leave.
