I was ordering from the dining room and was not addressed for several minutes. we tried to get the attention of an employee and was barely acknowledged. when I was finally helped it was by the Manager Kale and he was the one with worst Customer service. no eye contact, rude short answers to your questions. just slapped the food on the counter when it was read and walked away, and he was manager!!!I guess the bad service starts from the top. read more

Worst McDonald's I've ever been in. Placed my order, paid waited 30 minutes and still no food. Asked for a refund and it took them 8 minutes to give me the wrong amount back. So I told them them how much I paid and they walked away. 5 minutes later they came back with the amount of the order but not the round up for their charity. Told them to keep the .85 and walked out. Took over 30 minutes to get our breakfast order once placed. There was nobody else inside the restaurant when we ordered. The staff were rude and kept saying "you can just leave" when customers expressed their frustration. We warned several other customers to leave without ordering to save them the time and frustration. It should not take that long to make 4 breakfast sandwiches and an order of pancakes. We honestly would have left without our food if we could have gotten a refund. read more

I ordered from this Mcdonald's from Uber Eats while I was staying in a nearby hotel. Ordered a Chicken Nuggets, with fries and coke. Nothing fancy, just needed a quick meal. Moment i opened the bag, this strong rancid smell came out. Its like it was made using old oil. It was nasty, i threw it away in the nearest trash can. I don't know anything about this particular McDonalds location but it must have some quality control issues. read more

It's McDonald's so if you get what you are expecting, you are happy...well, satisfied. I was on my way to a meeting at an airport hotel and stopped at this McDonald's for a quick breakfast. We used to stop here regularly after a return flight and it always seemed like pretty much every other McDonald's. but it has been a while because we're traveling less. I must have been just before or after any rush periods because there was only one person in line and the place was quiet with only one or two customers in the dining area. I looked at the deals on the McDonald's app and decided to use the BOGOF for Breakfast Bagel Sandwiches with Bacon. Of course I had to have Hash Browns and I needed Coffee. This made a hardy breakfast that should last me through the meeting, all for $6.23! Coffee was hot and had all the additives as I requested; Hash Browns were hot and tasty with none of the overused oil taste; the Bagel Sandwiches were good and served warm. The dining area was clean and the counter service was fairly quick. And the restroom (men's) was clean as well. read more

First of all, in a hurry and while I didn't check my bag my Oder was short a hash brown. My order, steak bagel with extra onion was extra burnt( like to a crisp. Im wondering if anyone that fixed or saw that burnt ass bagel would they have eaten it themselves. Probably not but since they weren't eating it, serve it to the customer who won't be eating until after he quickly gets on the freeway. Headed to DTW or arriving in DTW feeling famished from traveling your face might light up seeing the good ole giant M sign and know a McD's breakfast or happy meal will do the trick DON'T BE FOOLED. You'll end up waiting in the wrap around drive thru line just to get to the window for them to tell you they're out of eggs, the smoothie machine is down and the disappointment doesn't stop there the hash browns we're in fact not straight off the fryer they were luke warm. I would have to say the McD's is under staffed in the early am and their outages of items are frequent... However, I am rating McD's 3 starts due to its highly desirable location I can sympathize for the long drive thru line and the few positive experiences I have encountered at this location. read more

Not confirming your order or giving a total. Because this dive is just outside the rental car pickup area at DTW, I've stopped here a few times before jumping on 94 into the city or burbs. I have NEVER EVER EVER EVER had decent service here. You can wait forever. It's like it's populated with zombies who don't make eye contact and don't want you there. I had stopped coming here and just started getting junk at the BP gas station next door, but yesterday I was with a colleague and we stupidly thought, what the hell. MISTAKE. Took ten minutes to get our order. When it finally came, I sat down and realized I hadn't gotten the right drink. I went back to the counter. The guy taking orders said, no problem, he threw another cup on the machine, and continued taking orders. I guess he assumed it would magically float back over the counter to me. I couldn't convince any of the ladies back there to just hand me the drink. I was ready to climb over the counter myself. I finally told he register guy, can you just HAND ME THE DAMN THING? Fantastic McDonald's after a long flight at DTW. The water pressure in the sinks is fantastic and strong compared to other "green" McDonald's rest rooms. The food is always hot and tasty, and the location is clean and safe. Employees are friendly and nice. read more

This McDonalds has slightly less-than-typical service. It seems that they rotate their employees in and out much more often than other restaurants because workers seem to have very low morale and not very good manners. That aside, the restaurant is always clean! Food is consistant with many other McDonalds, but the price is certainly less here than at the airport! All I ordered was a fruit parfait and a bottle of water. Hard to messed up right? Wrong! The Dasani bottle was covered in something sticky and red. I'm assuming that it was the fruit/syrup mixture from the parfait. Like an idiot I drove off before I was able to really figure out what was going on and so the stirring wheel and my phone were covered in gunk. I ended up wasting some of my water and my napkins I have in my car cleaning up crap off of my hands, the stirring wheel, my phone and the bottle of water. how do they ALWAYS get it wrong? Worst McDonald's this side of the Mississippi. Takes FOREVER to get anything. I don't understand what the point of having 2 drive-thru menus is if they aren't going to take the customers in order. I pulled up with a customer already at the other menu, 3 cars were then served in the other lane before they helped me. When I got my food the order was not mine and I had to go back into that ridiculous line to get it corrected because I didn't want to cut off the people who were in line already. I live not even a half a mile from this McDonald's. And before I get out of my car a take a bite of my French fries and they are cold as hell and you can tell have been sitting there for a minute. I have to say, in that past I would head to McD for coffee on the way to work or pick up a snack here and there. So, while I do frequent McD, I am picky about what I eat there. On our way to the DTW airport, this McD makes it easy to grab a quick, inexpensive meal on the way. There were a couple of places next door, I wont say any names, but one of them had decided to start yelling at people in the drive thru and the order up menu that there was no food left and to leave. This was a bit strange for an afternoon, so we bypassed the screaming match and just went in to McD. The place was a madhouse, the restrooms were disgusting, and there was a pretty long wait. People were cranky, kids were crying, and you really didn't want to stay unless you were starving. We didnt want to eat airport food and pay 3X the amount, so we just took a deep breath and kept to ourselves. After sitting down to ear, one of the register employees too a break to the restroom. She was in there for over an hour puking her guts out. I get it, things happen. But, people are trying to eat and you can hear her every time someone would have to use the restroom and open the door (and most of the time they ran right back out.) Not one single employee went in there to check on her. How do you not notice your employee is gone for that long? Once our meal and our coffee was done, we left.
