Horrible customer service from female night shift manager. I don't remember her name. I placed an order online and waited 30 minutes after promised time. Multiple stops at pick up saying it's coming up and never ready then they blamed me for waiting in car because it was cold. Not that they will miss my business but used to stop here all the time after getting my rental. Late shift female manager was horrible. The gentleman waiting on me knew they messed up and felt bad for him because he was truly apologetic but manager blamed it on me for going back to my car for the last 5 minutes of my 30 minute wait. read more

Food wasn't correct, the drink was wrong, and the staff literally said nothing to me. I greeted them at the order board and at the window, no response. The board was so dark I had to get out of the car to read the menu. There were no other customers there (that should have been my red flag), and they slung my food together. What a joke. I'm not sure what the young girl at the window had going on, but she needs to remember, customers give her a paycheck. No hello, no thank you, no nothing. First of all the guy that works there needs to be fired! Incredibly rude and yelling and screaming so much he's literally spitting over the food. Next saw this woman not wear gloves when preparing food. Lastly the fries were so hard and greasy bearly even edible. Overall a disgusting environment. read more

4 star food 0 star service I ordered boneless wings, funnel fries and a drink. Didn't get funnel fries, she said she didn't hear me. Service was so slow we were almost late getting back to work. Cashier was going to refuse a customer because he was a penny short until a nice man talked to the manager. I will either call in an order next time or go to a different location. read more

I had never had Checkers before, a Checkers virgin. Well it was my first and last time- sorry but not impressed. I got the big buford and so did my dining companion- 2 for 5 bucks and split a fry. The burger was okay, very beefy but nothing special. The fries were different, kinda good very peppery. I kept thinking it reminds me of something..the aftertaste and finally I was like ohhh taste like KFC, the aftertaste odd but not awful, certainly different and not something I want to eat again. Checkers is fast food, so my expectations were not very high. I can say it isn't the worse I've had but I will pass in future, unless I'm super starved or desperate. Not the healthiest food but in a pinch I go with the Big Buford and seasoned fries. A weakness of mine... Usually is very quick service. The food is hot and the fries never seem to be old. read more

Everyone is on a budget now but Checkers has some good food with good options for cheap prices, usually you say cheap prices, you expect cheap service or food( you get what you pay for) but not here, Im always pleased with my selections and the pric, you can feed the whole family for les than McDonalds or any other fast food joint and you know aint no pink slime in these burgers. Fast Food Choice today It was on a Wednesday afternoon around 3:30 I pulled into Checkers. There was no one in line so I pulled up to the kiosk to place my order, a Texas Toast Double Combo. The Service was quick only two cars ahead of me and I was out of there in five minutes. The one thing I really don't care for at Checkers/Rally's is it is drive-thru only. They do have one picnic table when the weather is favorable but I do prefer to sit down inside to eat. Providing this to customers would raise the prices so I'll live with it. The Double Texas Toast burger was not bad. It had two thin hamburger patties, american cheese, tomatoes, lettuce and mayo on Garlic toast bread. It was hot but do not think it was fresh made as it only took 5 minutes to receive my order. The bread had a good garlic buttery flavor. Meat was tender but not very juicy (can you say "Very Well Done"). I prefer medium but who am I kidding at a drive thru. Condiments were crispy. For a fast food sandwich it was a bit above average. The fries were good not McDonalds but good. They have a thin batter coating and seasoned salt that gives them their unique flavor. I like them The drink was a value sized drink which was half way full of ice. C'mon Checkers The big M gives you a full size drink for $1.00 and has been for quite some time. Overall it was fast food. Not any comparison for a normal restaurant. Atmosphere This depends on the weather. Today it was chilly and slight rain. The inside of my car was clean and comfortable. The Taylor location is on Eureka Road between Beech-Daly and Inkster road Noise Level Good radio in the background Meal Texas Toast Double Combo Meal $5.61. There are better deals than this one but for under $6.00 it wasn't terrible. Wheelchair Access The restaurant is at street level, No Wheelchair access that I could see but then it is a drive thru There are NO public restrooms. I hate this restaurant I went there and when I first moved into my new home the service was really bad the food was ice cold and overpriced

This was some good stuff. I expected to eat average fast food but this was super good. The fries were super good. They could put anything on a burger and make it something delicious. The fries had the most flavor out of any fries I've ever eaten. I recommend this to anyone who is close. read more
