I tried a piece, and it essentially tasted like bread. It was so undercooked that I called it "raw French toast." When Hope came back to check on us, I told her that the French toast was inedible. Her response was simply to ask if we wanted the check. When we went to pay our tab, the cashier asked if we had been happy with our meal. I took the opportunity to say no, and she called over the manager. I briefly explained my disappointment and the manager promptly offered to remove the cost of my meal from the bill. That was satisfactory but I didn't get the feeling that she was going to talk to the cook about the fact that such horrible food should never have left the kitchen to begin with.
