WOW! I'm giving the big fast food chain a 5star rating.......... It's going to rain big mac's!! This location gets a great rating for the awesome customer service, even better communication being that we added an extra item at the first window and I was sure they would forget to pack it at the next but didn't and even better food! I know I know your probably thinking its all the same its Micky D's but this one stands out from the rest!! Not only did they get our order right and they didn't forget the extra add on order they also were fast fast fast and it was hot hot hot!! They even gave us our straws holy wow!!! Absolutely horrible service. Laughably rude manager-type person. When they got my order wrong, they demanded a receipt to fix it, though I'd already relinquished the drink completely full. When I couldn't find a receipt, the worker, presumably a night manager, actually flat out denied that I could have even gotten that size of coffee from his store, saying they don't even sell it. When I finally found my receipt and returned, I didn't even receive a sincere apology. I get that it's just McDonald's, and as such my standards were already incredibly low, but come on... I was in there yesterday and used the rest room. An EMPLOYEE walked out of the cubicle adjusting his pants and walks straight out the door. I walked out behind him after washing my hands and I see him walk behind the counter straight over to the milk shake machine touching it??? This McDonald's has horrible customer service they had some kid working the drive thru window and he had no clue what he was doing. He gave me an Ice Cream and said ok have a nice day and I told him what about the rest of my food? The #2 Large Size with a Coke ? He says you only ordered a cone I said no & I showed him my receipt but he turned around looked around and then grabbed my bag and said oh here I think this is your order like seriously he didn't even double check what an idiot. And the kid you could tell was lazy too. Also my next complaint is for a different time when I dined in the seating inside since the remodeling is so uncomfortable you guys should not have remodeled if it aint broke don't fix it that is why I only use the drive thru now but please stop putting young kids that don't have a clue or atleast train them properly McDonald's on Plaza has gone downhill. read more

This is an unfortunate change of expectations, however a recent visit has led me to downgrade this location's rating of this International Franchise. While working in my area, and looking for a shot of espresso in the middle of the night and their highly addictive french fries, I stopped by here with several minutes to spare before they closed. When I got to the window, they said both items were unavailable as, even though they were open, they had already cleaned the machines and were no longer making McCafe items or using their fryer. Now I understand, having once worked food service myself, that when one has worked a long day sometimes all one wants to do is go home; yet sometimes it's an experience or two that grounds one person's impression of a certain location. This experience is going to be that one. Not being able to order the items that I would like, I left, having to go to my next appointed round. I am pretty sure that the location on Vista Way will appreciate my business more. read more

Moments after we placed our order and sat down at our table, I was told by another staff that there's a promotion "two for $5" ongoing. So I went back to the same cashier asking for the promotion, because I just ordered one Big Mac along with other items, and I could add 21 cents to make $5 to have two Big Mac. The cashier apologized and said needed manager's approval. The manager, Christopher (Cris), won't honor this promotion. Said it's too late, I already paid, and he won't do it. I didn't want to argue with him over one burger. But come on, maybe just do something like "return and rebuy" and add the promotion, and make a customer happy? Christopher just refused to do it. I went to this location on 5/9 and was not happy. The cashier who took my order was extremely rude and when I asked her to please repeat my order she said that they generally do not repeat back the orders, which made me very frustrated. Once I got to the window, I asked to speak to the manager who refused to give me the name of the young lady who took my order. The manager said, "Oh no no, blame me, not her." I could not believe this situation. Apparently, their names were Tania and Fransecca. I will not be going back to this location. This was such a horrible experience all around. I ordered through the mobile app and I waited about 20 minutes (and I'm one of two customers waiting for curbside pickup, no one in the drive thru either so we are literally the only two people ordering food here). After 20 mins, I go to the door and it's locked so I'm knocking and a worker just stares at me? She says nothing, doesn't even come to the door, just looks, and then pretends to do something else. I stand there for 10 minutes just waiting for her to come to the door to let me know what's going on since they've already charged my card and clearly I'm not getting food from this establishment... I just walked back to my car to wait a little longer before leaving. What irks me even more is that I waited so long that the other restaurants around it closed during that time. Utterly disgusted with this establishment. Been here a number of times and I understand there not the best at customer service but at least the food was consistent. Well, not even THAT is true anymore. I went through the drive through for a quick dinner on the go for my family. I ordered the Buttermilk 4 piece chicken combo. Went to pick up my family and hit the road. As we opened our meals I found a long, thick, kinky strand of hair that was embedded into TWO of the chicken strips! We don't have time to turn around and go back so I tried calling them to see if we can get an apology at least if not a replacement meal tomorrow. I tried calling 8 Times! No answer. So here I am, with unsanitary food and an empty stomach. Thanks McDonalds. I made order using mobile app. When I arrived at restaurant the code was no longer available even though I had receipt in the app. Manager stated they don't honor any issues with the app. Said it is made by a third party and not recognized by MacDonalds? What??? Had to dispute over $25 worth of food with cc company. No answer yet. There are so many MacDonalds in the area. There is a reason this one has such low rates. I have to say that this McDonald's staff throughout the afternoon to evening is the best McDonald's I have been in. Carl, Daniel, Manager Eric are the friendliest employees of this franchise I have met and hands down best hospitality and service from these guys. Drive-thru is terrible. They ALWAYS mess up my orders somehow and are super slow. Every time I go here, I would have to make a correction to my order and would have to wait at one of the parking slots after paying. Just had a double cheeseburger combo here while waiting for my car to be serviced at Pep Boys. Very convenient to be right across the parking lot. This was my first time inside (been to the drive thru several times) and the crew was very friendly. Also some nice artwork of Oceanside is painted on the walls which is a pleasant change from the generic look. 2 TVs are also located in the dining area so I'd say if you've got the time to relax and eat inside, its worth it. read more

I like McDonalds believe me, as unhealthy it can be it does make you full off of one burger magically. But the other night the service here definitely sucked. I went through the drive-thru and the guy taking my order didnt seem too happy to be there, arent you suppose to be happy to "see me smile??" lol Well it went more downhill for this dude when I handed him a ziplock baggie full of change which was mostly quarters...So he took the bag and when he opened it his eyes grew big and he looked at me with that face like "dude, I know im that cashier tonight, but I am not even trying to count tonight..." So he literally asks me before he even takes out one coin "How much in the bag guy?" I told him, then I had the urge to add another sandwich to my order. I tell him I want a "spicy buffalo burger" the guy asks me in confusion what I said...I tell him again and he walks off looking like he hates his job. Ordered a large Coke at the busy drive up window (12:25). After finally getting through the line I discovered that my Coke was COMPLETELY flat, ZERO carbonation. Went back to the drive up, waiting, burning more gas, and was told that ALL of their soft drinks were flat and would I like an ice tea instead? If ALL of their drinks are flat they should advise their customers BEFORE they waste their time and gas in line. They should NEVER allow customers to drive off with FLAT soda pop without even mentioning that the product they sold them was missing a key ingredient. WHO drinks flat soda pop? Would they sell a burger with NO condiments without telling the customer they were out?? Secondly, when you make a mistake APOLOGIZE TO THE CUSTOMER. Maybe give them something for their wasted time and gas and YOUR bad service but AT LEAST APOLOGIZE. As a customer I was really ticked off. As a McDonald's stock holder I was EXTREMELY disappointed. Parents and schools no longer teach manners but McDonald's is supposed to be the gold standard of fast food. They should TRAIN their employees better. And McDonald's should NEVER run out of product. While staying in the area I have been in this establishment for the last 2 months about 3x week strictly for the wi fi. I have always purchased something even though I do not want anything excepf coffee maybe stayed as long as 4hrs and as little as 2hrs .I wanted a re fill on my coffee and one of the managers looked at me ,and had the nerve to ask me if I bought it today,For as long as it takes to get a cup of coffee there, It might as well have been purchased the previous day.Then Last night another manager told me I had a time limit,I replied no one has said this to me one time,but he seem to single me out for some reason,I have seen people sleeping in the back,vagrants come in and plug there devices in and buy nothing. last night I saw several people come in and get water and purchase Zip!I come in and buy breakfast for my family on many different occasions.THAT WILL NOT HAPPEN ANYMORE !!!!I have gotten to know several of your employees,and you have one young man that is one of the hardest working young people there and he even said he is treated horribly by your managers .That is just one,there are many more.Needless to say,I would rather buy my coffee at the am/pm or Starbucks across the street where it is more expensive and the service is much better.
