So pull into the drive-through and they've got two lanes both empty figured I'd pull into the one on the right that was a mistake. I asked if I was gonna use my rewards app I said yes, then they disappeared. Then they returned, and the guy have trouble allowing me to use the app code. Meanwhile, the carpool lay next to me needless to say I'm still replacing my order and the car's already pulled through. Finally got my order done, but on the screen, it's showing the items are paying for and the item I'm trying to get for free. This should be interesting. Pulled up to pay the receipt is correct would've been nice of the car in front of me and pulled up 6 inches. Moore had a wait a while, but I'm not taking the money. Couldn't quite enough to get married credit card. So I paid now I'm waiting to pick up my food. Guy Reese is out the window yell's quarter pounder handed me a bag and he's gone. I checked the receipt. They charged me $.10 for a bag fee. I hate that from now on I walk in I'm not paying for a bag fee. French fries for lukewarm burger or smoking hot, but didn't have any taste to it as for onions I think they forgot them. Pickles there was one and ketchup. Come here if you want to stand around while the manager walks around ignoring all the customers. They don't have condiments or napkins or straws or that you can access. One poor overworked employee had to run to try to find catsup for me after standing there being ignored by everyone and the managers just walking around chit chatting. We come here in the evenings, on occasion, for a quick dessert treat. The staffers have been kind to us for the most part. So it's sad to see so many bad reviews for this location. Lately we've only received respectful service by them. It usually isn't super busy when we do go. So there is that. It just depends on the day and time that we do get there. And even if both drive through lanes have cars we haven't had to wait too long to get our order. Ice cream isn't hard to get wrong and they haven't yet. So that's a plus. read more

The worst costumer service ever, there's kids working there and one is way over weight and has fucked up eyeliner need more makeup to cover that mess. The food is always undercooked or burnt. I visit several McDonalds throughout San Diego, and have to say the location at 3794 Oceanside is at the bottom of my list. Rosario (older hispanic/ asian) woman is very RUDE! I had a few simple requests, did I (the paying customer) feel valued and appreciated, NO! Her demeaner towards me was disrespectful, and dismissive. Giving me every reason why she could'nt fill my request. I asked for a medium cup of ice (for medical reasons) along with my order, it wasn't that much of an ask. Her impression of me, was you don't belong here! I understand, the climate in our country isn't the best right now, but when you work for the "Golden Arches" you shouldn't feel less valued than the next. She needs some real coaching, being bias and unkind towards others, is completely uncalled for, its kindness and respect to others that makes a difference in the world. She definently could improve! I figured I must have just misunderstood but sure enough, they are trying to charge for bags now. It sounds like a joke but yet..here we are. Welcome back to my 1 star reviews! Well we all know that McDonald's is never a top tier spot to get a good meal. But I believe they should or most McDonald's strive to bring a great experience to the customers that are buying their food. With this location you would have a better chance of receiving better service from the DMV. Unfortunately this location doesn't listen or want to even hear you out about requests with your order as simple as no pickles please. Secondly they don't want or have the need to take there job serious. A lot of joking around and clearly making fun or talking customer while in the drive thru. And asking for more sauce or napkins is like asking them to take the Olympic torch to the main field. Worst mcdonald's ever! we were the only car they made go to the number to wait and then proceeded to make us wait 20 minutes to bring our food out... don't know if they forgot about us or what? they didn't give me a straw for my drink and they forgot my friends drink so the nice lady went back inside to get it and proceeded to make us wait another 10 minutes and when she finally came out to bring the drink she said she got side tracked. by then my freeze was melted and our food was cold. don't recommend this mcdonald's at all! read more

Restaurant and bathroom were clean. You have to order via kiosk only and I noticed several people were having issues to figure out. There were no cashiers present - seemed like everyone was working behind counter. The ones that gave up at kiosk went to the counter and asked to order there. Took a few minutes before someone came to take some orders. As we got back on the road I realized my order was incorrect but hot. Overall service I would have to give 2 stars at best. I don't typically leave negative feedback but time after time at this location is very frustrating. This location off Plaza is very convenient to swing by which is why I go. I understand fast food is a very tough industry as I've worked in it myself but at the end of the day customer service is always #1 and from the managers to the crew members it's usually a frustrating experience. Typically very rude, very dismissive, and unprofessional. If you ask for anything they forgot you can tell they are annoyed. Then you get home after a short drive only to find your fries are cold or refried, the nuggets are cold and hard, or they have you 2 sauces when you ordered a meals for your family. I really hope the district manager can train this entire restaurant on quality and customer service. Fast food isn't as cheap as it used to be can it at least be hot food? This location is consistently a bad experience. I will say one staff member stands out and I'm not sure of his name but he's an African American young man and he is always very nice, welcoming, and makes your experience a bit better. At the end of the day the people who go through this establishment are the reason why the positions are available and if you hate your job so much customers can tell just find something that you do enjoy. Just dropped off my car for maintenance at the PepBoys across the parking lot. Went into the restaurant to grab some food and kill some time. The auto ordering kiosks were covered with tweens. Went to the counter and found the only register was covered with a sign saying to use the mobile app or the kiosks. After a few minutes an employee asked what I wanted. Me: I'd like to place an order. Employee: I can help you at the kiosk. I'll show you how to use it. Me: Why don't you just take my order here. Employees: I don't know how. Only the manager can use the register. Me: (A bit sarcastically) If I have to take my own order, I may as well go in the back and make it myself. Do you wanna be treated horribly by the staff, pay alot of money for food, not get what you ordered, and than to top it off only get one packet of each condiment. Than when you ask for more they refer you to there poster on the drive thru window which states how many packets of condiments you are able to get based off of how much you ordered. Just to be sure I've been to this location more than 7 times and my coworkers have been there countless times too. No one's has had a good experience. I use the app to order ahead. In particular for the Disney 100 happy meal characters and the app says if they're out, but not here. Got my order with a new toy, then I get home with wrong drink, underdone fries, no apples. ( all correctly ordered on app) Plus my husband's Big Mac had lettuce which I requested without! If I could give them 0 stars, I would. Their service is worse than poor. I just went to get a meal today and it didn't fail, they had crappy attitudes and messed up my simple order AGAIN! I pulled up to the first window and the lady taking my payment didn't even turn around to look at me and say hi. I pulled up to the second window and she had the same indifferent attitude. I asked for a straw and she seemed like I asked her for a kidney. Not only is their attitude crappy, they constantly get my order wrong. They couldn't get a simple hamburger right or a cheeseburger! I will never spend another penny at this location again...and am considering boycotting McDonald's altogether. I was calm, polite, and patient. I don't usually write reviews for fast food bc let's be real the expectation bar is already low. With that being said... Th guy taking our order was very nice, but I had to tell him multiple times I couldn't hear him. Idk if it was his headset or him. I ordered sweet and sour sauce for my chicken nugget meal as well as my sons chicken nugget happy meal. I received 1 sweet and sour and 2 hot mustard. He received 0 sauce all together. They told me to pull and wait for the rest of my order. After waiting approx 5 mins they bring out my coffee, but not my fries. It was then another 5 mins for my French fries.
