I rarely leave reviews, but I had to after coming in around 10:40 p.m. on April 27. Karina or Carina helped me, and she was great. No attitude at all, just calm, efficient, and clearly knew what she was doing. The whole process felt smooth and easy, and she handled everything professionally from start to finish. I'm giving this five stars for her, not for the location. Most times I come here I'm close to leaving a negative review because of the attitude and lack of effort from other staff, especially management. It often feels careless and inconsistent. That's why she stood out so much. She felt genuine and just did her job right without any attitude. Managers here could learn a lot from employees like her. Kudos to her for setting the standard. Also, respect to the cooks. I know they probably don't get the recognition they deserve. read more

Chipotle Mexican Grill - Big Ass Burrito - Mexican Near Me - Oceanside, California

Staff attitude and communication were disrespectful when returning due to them forgetting steak for a steak bowl. No further compensation or apology was offered and staff lacked ability to understand how to properly correct their mistake, turning the situation awkward and unprofessional. Hopefully staff can be provided training on proper customer service and communication; based on other reviews and this experience, this location would highly benefit from it. read more

Chipotle Mexican Grill - I sat at a dirty table. This poor guy had to site next to someone else's garbage. They are all dirty. C'mon people. Wake up! - Mexican Near Me - Oceanside, California

Found a chunk of WOOD in my food and filed a report with Chipotle and never heard back or was compensated for my bad experience. Recently tried it again after a year or so later, big mistake and will NOT be back. read more

I don't love chipotle but when I don't feel like cooking and I want something healthy ish I come here because it's better than a burger and fries. I really enjoyed their carne asada and chimichurri. Really stupid that you have to pay extra for it but it's worth it. This location is really dirty so I usually just order on Uber eats and don't enjoy eating at the restaurant. The service is pretty good here. I wish they had the option on the app to add the chipotle vinaigrette on the side for other items besides the salads. Besides that it's always a solid choice, but they really NEED TO CLEAN THIS PLACE read more

Why can't chipotle work on a measurement system. It's ridiculous with all the money they can't figure out portions sizes. One day you get an adult meal, the next day you get a kid's meal. I am this close to start asking for people's schedules so I can come on the days where I know the employee behind the counter will service an adult size meal. read more

The portion size are way too small, I paid double protein, as I was really hungry , and they gave 2 small scoops halfway fill, next time I will ask for my portion a separate cup to the get the right amount of protein. Service was okay, but food no, I'm not a vegetarian, to just get veggies no protein ! - please do better read more

Service was really bad , I ordered the chicken cups and usually they fill them up the majority of the way but I ordered 2 and they barely filled them up and chicken was very cold and felt like it'd been there for a while , lady working was very aggressive and took 5 mins of me just standing there to get started with the order and charged me for sides of salsa and cheese when they are usually always included . I will not be coming back to this location read more

When they say nothing new during race week, I take that seriously. And, anyone that knows me knows that I survive on matcha lattes, sushi, and Chipotle. So, the day before my first Ironman 70.3, you betcha I found myself the nearest Chipotle and, since I know myself well, I got not one but two steak bowls to go. Why did I get two you may wonder? Because I knew this is exactly what I would want to eat upon finishing those 70.3 miles (and my hotel had a refrigerator, thank you). I friggen love Chipotle so much, it's borderline problematic (addictive, step one: recognizing you have a problem). I was in and out of this location pretty quickly and back to my hotel to marvel in my Chipotle delight while also freaking out getting ready for the event the next day. Great portion sizes. Thank you, Chipotle, for fueling me - always. read more

I now know why so many people got very sick and or died years ago from Chipotle. The meats and soy meats are dried out in the pans, not hot and all the spoons and sides of pans are crusty with food. The music at this location is extremely loud and I can't stand it. The place is also softy, the floors and tables are never cleaned each time I go in there. I'll never go back! read more

I can believe I've only recently decided to try Chipotle! I've heard mixed reviews, but I think they rock! I've been getting the veggie bowl for lunch frequently and love it! $10 gets you a huge and filling bowl with rice, beans, grilled veggies, corn, guacamole, cheese, lettuce, sour cream and salsa! The food is fresh and tasty! The line is always super long but moves really fast! The staff are always friendly! Way to go Chipotle! read more

I'm not usually the person to leave reviews. But this specific location (Vista Way) is TERRIBLE. Over the last 5 months, their portions have gotten smaller and smaller and smaller. When the employees get asked to fix it or add a little bit more food to your order, they give you the most outrageous attitude and sparsely add more. On top of that, it's more consistent now that the food is going bad/is bad. I've had too many times where I've taken the chance on their food and have had the worst food poisoning of my life. This most recent time, it was the queso. It looked mostly fine- maybe a little bit like it had sat out too long, but it was cold in the burrito. -10/10: Avoid this place. read more

This Chipotle is decent if you order at the restaurant. If you order for delivery via any platform you can plan on getting maybe 1/2 of the ingredients you order on your burrito/bowl. read more

Every time I order ahead something goes wrong. If I order at 11am and get here at 11, it's not ready. If I get here at 11:10, it's still not ready. Today I came 20 minutes later and they said someone probably stole it so we will remake it. Never use the app to order ahead because it's never ready on time and if you have a timed lunch you probably won't be able to enjoy it. I am now deleting the app from chipotle. So unimpressed. Have someone monitor to go orders cause y'all are too busy to watch it. read more

I went in today at 9:30, store doesn't close until 11:00pm. I ordered a bowl and turned out they didn't have any lettuce, chips, and empty fountain drinks! The portions were extremely small and when I asked for more, the server had an attitude and still paid over $13.00! Poor experience today, do better with having ingredients and drinks! read more

I got a chicken bowl and I asked for half steak the girl charged me $6 for extra steak and put 3 pieces in my bowl do better

Had a bad experience last night around 8pm at this location--my first time here. Two girls were working the front. I said hi but was totally ignored, even though there was no line. A guy who came in after me got welcomed and helped right away. Both girls had an attitude, and the one making my bowl gave me barely any chicken. I asked for more corn and she poured some out. I left my to-go bowl up front and told them I was going to the bathroom, but they didn't say there was a code. When I walked back and asked for it, the Asian girl looked at me like I was stupid. It felt rude and embarrassing. Not trying to profile, just didn't catch their names. If I'd known the service would be like this, I'd have taken my money elsewhere. Please treat people with kindness. You don't know what people are going through. read more

The service here is terrible the hispanic woman there who's barking orders is rude doesn't wear a name tag so I can't write her name on here. She yells at the employees for no reason. Never again read more

So I was craving a salad chicken bowl and I said why not come to Chipotle right next to the gym and give me a bowl I know it was 8:50 PM and so the lady behind the counter was already frustrated because I came and attitude she gave me was very upsetting to me, and I just asked, and I did not know once again I'm new to the and she gave me an attitude because all I just asked I'm gonna have my sellable from here you know I know it's an in the night but you know I just wanted a chicken bowl with no attitude. Came at 9pm on Sunday March 16th. Terrible customer service. Hating your job is fine but customers did nothing to you. Food ran out, I had to wait for black beans and steak. Cashier was very short and when I told her I had a rewards account she gave me a thumbs up and smirked. read more

My son had been swimming for 90 minutes at his race club and wanted a burrito after his training. I ordered online and we picked up at the correct time. My son took one bite and said the wrap was hard, and it was. We had already driven off and needed to get home so we couldn't return it. It was thrown in tie garbage as soon as we got home. This is why we don't eat out anymore. Terrible quality and lack of care. I deleted the app after this and won't be going back read more

Extremely disappointed tonight. Went in around 9:30 and the workers were miserably rude. When I got up to the line to order I was greeted with "what do you want" and a piss poor attitude. Honestly really disappointed in the service here. I work right across the street so coming here for my lunch makes it easy and I have the app. The app will tell me my order will be ready at a certain time and even telling me it's on the shelf. When I arrive it is never on the shelf, and takes about 5 minutes for an employee to even speak to me, no greetings, nothing. It's ridiculous. read more

I work in food service and I understand the draining it brings after a long day of talking to customers. I'm just a bit surprised because I went in 30 minutes before close which I know is cutting it kind of a bit close, but not fully based on my experience. I saw they were putting the chairs up and sweeping so I was hesitate to go in, not wanting to disrupt. I peek my head in the door slightly and an employee shakes their head at me entering in and gives me dirty looks. I decided I did not want to bother the closing process so I left. It's not a huge deal I was just a bit disappointed at how they reacted to me coming in so outwardly but I would come back. read more

I have never been so disappointed with any restaurant then tonight at this chipotle. They ran out of cheese and guacamole. They also had no spoons or forks, how am I supposed to eat my bowl. And the staff tonight was so rude and unprofessional, when asked if they had utensils maybe they ran out in the front but they had some in the back. They condescending responded they were out with so much attitude like it was my fault they didn't inadequately prepare for tonight's rush hour. Seriously so much attitude was not needed and I'm so disappointed that's the customer service that represents chipotle of Vista Way. Do better and train your employees to give proper service. I recommend going to another location!!! read more

I don't need a song and dance every time I go and eat somewhere, but I don't expect people to be so rude and obvious that they hate their job. Especially the older lady. The food was standard like any other Chipotle, but the interactions alone was a reason I will go to any other location but this one. It is in the "rougher" part of town, parking lot alone is very small, and cops were dealing with a situation nearby. read more
