It's McDonalds what do you expect? How about a juicy quarter-pounder with cheese? Perhaps a 20 piece McNuggets with the green label Sweet and Sour sauce? If you're lucky, maybe you'll hit McRib week . You know it's gonna taste like it should because it's Mickeys. Once in a while, there's just no beating a Big-Mac and fries Mc'D style. I know it's not "cool" to admit a liking for greasy mass produced fast food but dammit it's good sometimes. Open 24/7 and dual drive thrus! One tip if you're going late in the eve: The credit/debit card machine seems to not work half the time so they may answer: "McDonalds...can you pay cash?" It's a McDonald's... However, they do keep it fairly clean! We got great service from "Nick" the other day. I like to take my daughter here for a special lunch once a month or so. The great thing is that our order is usually done 100% accurate & if not, they will correct it if I take it back up to the counter. I've had them get me a highchair before or carry my tray to our table... Just nice service most of the time. read more

The WORST McDonald's! The night crew is absolutely awful!!!! Every time the order is wrong, or its wrong and stuff is missing! The food sucks at night, far from "fresh" and just thrown together. I reached out to the owners and left a message, but since I got no reply, I have no choice but to leave the details of the crappy service here. We went through the drive through after midnight one night. The electronic menus were turned off. We asked for them to turn them back on and the girl said they would be right back on. Two minutes later, she asked if we were ready to order. We told her we were still waiting for the menu to come back up. She then tells us in a snotty tone that they are broken. We tell her we need a menu and she tells us to google one. We immediately pulled up to the window and asked the girl there if she was the one that told us to google the menu. She was snotty again and told us yes and stated the manager told her to say it. We asked her if he also told her to be snotty and she said she said it just as he had said it. We asked where the manager was and she told us to pull to the next window to talk to him. BTW, we believe her name was Sabrina. She definitely doesn't belong in a customer facing job. We got to the next window and talked to "Peter", the manager. He stated he had told her we could use Google, but stated he did not convey a tone and he apologized for Sabrina's behavior. He then stated that the electronic menus had been shutting off at midnight for six months and they could not fix them. Six months??? Check your timers. McDonald's can't fix a simple programming issue in six months? And then the employee taking orders doesn't know about it even though it has been an issue for six months? Unbelievable. All in all, the food is pretty hit-and-miss in this restaurant. If it's fresh, it's good. When it's not, it's terrible. Also, the soda from the drive-thru fountain tastes funny and has for almost a year now. When we get soda inside, it tastes like it should. No other McDonald's we go to has this issue. For some reason, with hit and miss food, and sometimes less than stellar service, we keep going back, but this last time, the experience was so extremely terrible that we will have a hard time supporting this restaurant and its owners. While Peter could have tried to make things better, he simply gave us a weak apology and made excuses. Bye McDonald's. read more

Have to repeat myself a total of 4 times for an order for 2 people. Then when I finally got it... it was wrong!!!! I'm giving this rating because I think I'm a nice person. I went to this McDonald's because the one in Sherwood is always super busy, and last time I found a LONG hair in my sandwich. Which is GROSS. But that's in Sherwood. This one, I went too, an ordered my meal, had to wait nearly 10 minutes in the parking lot for, when I got my food they forgot my fries! My drink Tastes like they put 90% water and 10% soda in it. not very happy. So this has added to my shit week. I paid 8.88 for shit. Ah fun fact. While the guy at the first window was getting my change, he spun around super fast and looked at someone else, and looked like he was ready to kill. I've worked as a server before, so I know what rushes feel like, and that dealing with a Bazillion customers at once can be hard. I really hope that McDonald's improves. Cuz I like McDonald's. I am in here almost every day and if they didn't have WIFI I would never darken their door. The food is OK like every McD's in my area, but the service here is consistently bad. VERY bad.... As a retired business owner, I believe that the servers get NO TRAINING Thi is apparent at the cash register. One would think that person should be trained for a day in simple customer interplay BEFORE he is expected to meet the public. Today, for the second day in a row a cashier had NO CLUE how to make a simple sundae. I called this to the attention of who looked like a manager and she sighed loudly then showed him how to make it.. I had asked for a cup of water and had to remind him of that TWICE. I would recommend that the owner start show up occasionaly just to believe how BAD his store has become. How about McD's management? Don't they ever check on their franchisees? Hopefully, in the near future we will have robots that can do a better job, or trained Chimpanzees. read more

My sister has softball practice nearby, so we come here every other week or so. I have NEVER had good service here. The employees are some of the most incompetent I've ever met. They constantly get our orders wrong, sometimes more than once. On top of that, I was charged for barbecue sauce simply because I didn't buy McNuggets. You basically can't customize anything or they'll get it wrong. Ridiculous service. We stopped going completely. read more

This place is always very clean and has a great play structure for the kids to run around and play on. Usual food you would expect at McD's.

Every time we go to this location in Newberg, it's a hassle. Today, we were asked to pull forward and wait in a space "for the sauce for your burger." Huh? So, we pulled forward and we waited. We waited for 5 full minutes for "sauce for the burger" .... I went inside to actually get my money back and someone passed me with the food to take to the car. So then we get home, and literally missing something! We ordered 2 fries, and only one was there. And since we had been waiting for 5 minutes? The fried we DID have were cold, as was the other sandwich that we ordered. Will never come back here. The owners have trouble with each one they own. They only care about $$ and not customer service. read more

I had the late night munchies so I headed for McDonalds around 11:30pm. Ordered a 20 piece McNugget with lots of honey mustard sauce and 2 jalapeno cheddar McChicken sandwiches and a McDouble. when I got the bag out the window I asked the kid how many sauces I had...he said 3 I asked for 2 more he acted put out, but I got em'. Good thing cause when I got home that's all I had! Not enought sauce to dip with. The Jalapeno Cheddar McChickens were lacking the cheddar!!! WTF? I didn't get a reciet either so I had to look online for thier telephone number. Tried to call the Manager, but the phone is always busy!!! Next time I'll stay home and make something!!! read more

This location is really poor. The last 5 trips thru the drive through resulted in me having to go to the waiting area. This is a ridiculous attempt by the employee's to keep their "Time in line" stats low. The last two times I went through and had to wait, the order was incorrect. My order on the 3rd visit was missing the fries after waiting, I called the server back to mention it resulting in another wait. They brought the fries out and my bad, I didn't check and yep, brought out small fries instead of the large that I ordered. The last visit, this morning 08/02/2019 once again resulted in having to pull around to wait. What was I waiting for?? A large iced coffee with no cream or sugar!!! Black coffee on ice!! After waiting about 10 minutes and letting my food get cold, I went inside and as I figured, they forgot my coffee. I complained to the on shift manager but I could tell that it was going to go nowhere. Lastly, they seem to staff the drive through folks with people that do not have a great understanding of English . This is incredibly frustrating when you have to repeat your order multiple times and then still get it wrong. The "manager" I spoke with this morning fell in to this category as well. I drove to Oregon (630 miles) and stopped many places along the way to eat on my 4 day visit. On my last night I decided it was late and I just wanted something light. So I stopped and ordered the southwest salad and a chocolate shamrock shake before they were out of season. First of all they barely paid any attention to me because they were arguing over weather or not they charged the guy behind me correctly. Then at the next window I get handed my salad and my drink. Yes I know I should have checked the bag right then but how much can you get wrong on a two item order. NO FORK, NO NAPKINS, NO SALAD DRESSING AND if I were to try to squeeze the tiny lime wedge onto my dry salad with hardly any beans and corn, I was out of luck there too because the lime was old and dry. I couldn't squeeze one drop of juice out of it. My shake also did not have the new straw with two holes. Maybe that was extra or they were out but they could have told me that. On Tuesday 08/12/2014 at around 6:00 PM I stopped in for a bite to eat with my family. I made an order to eat there so that my daughter could play and burn some energy off and I was craving some of the french fries that McDonald's makes. When I get my order and pass it out to my children and wife I finally sit down and grab some of my fries out to and start eating them, upon reaching in for the second grab I find a curly black hair in my fries and show this to my wife. She gets up and takes the fries to the counter and shows the young lady the black short curly hair that is in the fries. The young lady says sorry, takes that away and hands my wife a fresh container of fries. I asked her if she looked to make sure that there was no hair in the fries jokingly as I know this is not possible. But as I look at the new order of fries I now see another short curly brown colored hair in that order. Perturbed, I grab that order and walk up to the counter and show the lady there what I found in the second order of fries. She takes that order and walks over to the guy standing there at the fries station and shows it to him, this guy starts smiling about it. After seeing this I am ticked off, are they seriously placing a bio hazard in peoples food and thinking it is funny? I ask to speak with the manager and the lady said there are a lot of managers on tonight and that she was one of them. She gave me back the cost of that single order of french fries at the end. And I did tell her that I would be in contact with the owners of that establishment as I left the business. As if I was not boiling over already, I felt something in the roof of my mouth, reached in with my finger and it was a black freaking hair! I called the number to the owners and left a message on what had transpired and I am awaiting a return call back at this time. No matter the outcome of this, I will NEVER, ever go to the Newberg McDonald's again. read more
