    Bacon cheese fries
    Caitlin M.

If you're looking for a local burger joint, this is the place. Good variety on the menu, large selection of ice cream. I'm a first timer and again.... Why do I wait so long?! What a jem! It felt like traveling in time when I walked in with the red booths and checkered floors. The parking lot is small and fills up quickly but rightfully so. Service great, food great BUT... the only thing I was unhappy with was the tots. They're trash. Get the fries with your meals instead, trust me. The tots were full of oil and didn't have any potato inside. Luckily I ordered the fries with cheese and bacon on it so I still left happy. The bacon was legit and not from a bag, you can tell it's cooked there. I wish there was a little more cheese but overall I was happy. My burger, fries and shake craving was satisfied with this place. Next time I'm going to sit and eat inside!

Interesting blast from the past. It's a Fifties Dinner and Ice Cream shop in Sat in a red and white seat booth. Order at the counter, double bacon Swiss with large fries. The frys are frozen skin on. I really love frys fresh. It's much more labor intensive but very tasty. I ate my frys first and was satisfied. The Bacon Swiss burger was big juicy and tasty! It's made with regular ingredients but somehow they magically added the deliciousness. I just had to get a double Spumoni. Oh Yummy! This is a busy place. And now I know why. Just really good food.

I ordered a shake with the playdough ice cream. Not true to flavor AT ALL. The sodium level was so low, Play-Doh couldn't sue if they tried, as no authority could be convinced that this imposter even slightly resembled that beloved salty clay. I was swindled of my childhood experience. (of course in reality, I sampled the flavor first out of curiosity, was beguiled by the vanilla creaminess, and then was not a bit upset when my mouth turned entirely blue #noregrets) After running 2 personal records at a track meet, this stop at Jem 100 absolutely did not swindle me of a child-like experience.

Fun little local dinner with throw back feels. They still have a jute box in the corner even. The price can't be beat and is good for the food you get. The staff is friendly and efficient even when they are busy with dine in and to go pickups.

This place is great. Fun atmosphere and great food at an affordable price. I highly recommend the smash burger.

Back again and tried some new things. Always tasty and good prices. Good service from the gals at the counter and enjoyed the oldies music.

They always give me extra tartar sauce for the fries

Jem100 is my favorite burger joint! I compared Nancy Jo's and Alf's in Mac for a side-by-side comparison and Jem100 is the best taste and service! I got the cheesy smash burger once at a Social Goods event they were there for and got hooked. You can tell Eric is a great manager because his team are happy, Brooklyn is especially helpful. I am disabled and they always offer to help me out. Just wonderfully gracious folks and the yummiest food! My fiancé said he loves watching me eat it because it's like I'm having it for the first time every time. So good! Thank you for everything Jem!

Great little diner. We went here in Feb 2023 for the grilled cheese meltdown. The prices are good and the food was tasty. I got the "meltdown" sandwich. The sandwich was Chicken, bacon and Frank's buffalo sauce on Portland French Bakery bread, smothered with cheddar and pepper jack cheese and served with fries. I ordered mine without bacon. It was really good. The food is very reasonably priced, workers were nice, and they offer a big verity of foods. Husband and I both had chocolate peanut butter ice cream and friend had a black licorice shake. We will be back.

    12-15 fries in an order

Came after working in this area and ordered a milkshake and a small fry. Some of the ice cream tasted kinda stale but i liked the huckleberry cheesecake and got a milk shake made with that which oddly tasted mostly like vanilla once made into a shake. My issue honestly came from the fries there were seriously like 12-15 in a pretty big bag that's crazy t charge 4 dollars for less than one whole potato. They were also just ok could've been cooked longer. They also didn't have the vinegar which what ever. The girls were nice tho until i asked for a couple more ketchups since they didn't have the vinegar. Then the gave me a comically large amount of ketchup like more ketchup packs than fries i had, kinda passive aggressive. May come back to try the burgers they looked pretty good but not too impressed with my first visit.

Love the flavor choices and they make the best milkshakes. If you can't decide, try the Bordeaux cherry. It's fantastic!

I stumbled upon this place while waiting for a 5pm massage appointment at a place on the 2nd floor. I was immediately welcomed with a smile by the guy working behind the counter. As soon as I told him it was my first time here we struck up a great conversation. He showed me what types of foods they had and after I settled on a lunch box that included a panini, salad and other goodies, he mentioned that they switch out their salads every Wednesday to mix up the variety. I settled on a Lasagne slice, a Prosciutto Panini and an additional one to go with my lunch box. Their side wall was adorned with pickled and jarred items as well as pastas the like. On the far wall had their beverages and my lunch box came with my choice of drink. I settled on some Italian orange soda. Not sure what it tastes like but I will tomorrow for my lunch. They also have panini press machines. The nice guy offered to toast my panini. I only have a microwave at work so using that will just turn my panini into a solid rock. Microwaves and bread don't do well with each other. Overall a neat experience indeed. I think on my next visit I'll bring my wife with me so that she can try other things. She has a better eye at finding great things to eat more than I do.

I tried the grilled cheese which my sister got too - yummy, but there's a sticky cheese on there that I didn't love. Greens that came with all items were weird. This little shop is absolutely adorable and full of charm. Most of their products are locally sourced, and you can feel the care that goes into the selection. The cheese and condiment options were phenomenal, truly one of the best curated selections I've seen in the area. They also have a cute wine bar tucked in the back, which adds to the cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The sandwiches and deli items in the case looked so good that I'm already planning to come back for lunch next time I'm in town. Everything looked fresh, high quality, and thoughtfully put together.
