Just an FYI, because this place gets busy they request you limit your visit to 1.5 hours. Now the menu. It is vast and everything sounded so good. Between the pastries, the yummy drinks, and the menu items, I had a hard time picking. I went with a muffin and a latte. The blueberry lemon muffin was large and so tasty. I ordered a plain latte to get a baseline on the coffee making skills. It was pretty good. I'll have to try one of the seasonal drinks next time I go. This place is small. Tables are close together. I could hear everyone's business. So keep that in mind. I am going to return when I have a bit more time. Probably a bit earlier in the morning to make sure I can get a table.

Employees are pleasant, and gave excellent recommendations. You order at the counter and they give you a number. You find yourself a table. They have mugs if you consume your coffee in their premises. They also offer to go cups if that is what you want. I ordered the European fried rice. The Portuguese sausage, and avocado complimented it well. They don't skimp on their portions. I also had the mocha which was perfect. Their dessert case looked delightful. Looking forward to returning, and trying other items on their menu, and of course some pastries. Make sure to give Elka Bee's a try.

I don't even know what happened…read more We stopped here on accident after a long day of unproductive shopping on New Year's Day, with three boys under the age of eight that were starving and just wanted fried chicken, but Popeye's across the street was closed. Our typical go-to would've been the Mexican cart, but I remember my mother saying that this place, with its various locations, was to die for. Since we were already mostly dying with all of the crying and wailing from my starving children, I figured we might as well give this a try. We didn't have much to lose. Out of sheer ignorance, we pointed at whatever we could pronounce or what looked good, (for which the meal numbers really helped). We ended up ordering the handheld shepherds pie with fries (which my husband insisted on calling an empanada), and something called Pelmenis with the cucumber tomato salad and some sour cream I think. I don't think I've had such a delicious meal in my entire life. We had quickly dished out portions for each of the children to hold them over until we had "real food at home". Now I knew I should've gotten three additional orders. Our family LOVED this food. Our boys asked for more Pelmenis. They needed yet another serving of fries. They insisted on another bite of the shepherds pie. My husband and I looked at each other and disbelief. How have we never been here before? What magic was tucked away into these giant and tiny pockets?? The salad was delightfully fresh. Our food was hot and ready in 7 minutes (we timed them!). We were given napkins and ketchup and silverware were. The price was higher than expected but TOTALLY restaurant quality. Maybe it was the effects of starvation. Maybe our standards were brought low from our lame shopping adventures. Or maybe the food at this place was a JUST THAT GOOD. We'll be back very very soon, if not to Aurora then OC or Newberg.

The store is at a busy intersection but there were plenty of parking by the entrance and more parking at the school across the street. For this festival, there were vendors selling flats of blueberries and Marionberries, handmade goods, and we got some delicious Marionberry whoopie pies from the Amish tent. The place was popping with live music, a bounce house and lawn games. The inside ordering was streamlined with one way entrance and one way exit. The back outdoor area was such a fun space with plenty of seating and a bountiful vegetable and flower garden. All the way in the back they had a patio with a fireplace where the bounce house was - very family friendly! You order the counter and take a number and they bring your food to you. It was a little chaotic for the servers to find people outside since it was very busy but everyone was so attentive and working so hard. We were here for the special Marionberry menu and they had a lot to offer. The highlights were for sure the Marionberry shake (omg so creamy!!) Marionberry lemonade, and the moist and buttery Marionberry scone. My husband enjoyed his brisket sandwich but I thought the berry chicken skewer didn't quite work together...but the berry salad dressing was delicious. Highly recommend coming to check this place out and enjoy a summer morning/afternoon sitting outside with homemade goodness!
