For a McDonalds, this one really isn't to bad. I do not come here all that often and when I do it is always to go but their nuggets, when piping hot and right out of the oven? Gotta love em. And I still, even though I do not eat much fast food these days, I still love their Fries. Soo good. It can get crowded at the drive through but honestly they usually get my order right and the staff at this location seems friendly. Recommended as one of the better McDonalds in the area. read more

McDonald's - the logo of a fast food restaurant - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Monroe, Connecticut

This location is a joke, rude employees, food always make you sick, nobody in the restaurant because the doors are always locked. what was once a great place has now gone to trash. read more

It's McDonald's, kind of hard to rate them. The other day I ordered a sausage McMuffin with egg only to get home and it ended up being an Egg McMuffin. they don't put eggs on your breakfast for the valley meals so you're painful price. And for some reason, the majority of the employees do not know what picante sauce is?!! read more

The service at this McDonalds is horrible. We tried them one more time and it will be the last. Got a simple order from the drive through, told to wait in order pickup spot. Over 15 minutes, still no food. My wife went inside and get our order. Were told that they were short staffed. Fries were soggy and just warm. No need to ever go back. read more

The service is honestly the slowest thing ever for quote on quote fast food as also they don't have anyone at the register telling people too use the kiosk when they don't accept money as some people only have that form of currency the workers are more focused on Uber Eats and drive true rather than the actual people that come in read more

This McDonald's is a great location. The workers are always joyous and happy. They never get my food wrong when I specify something like "no cheese" or "no ___" on a meal, and if they do, they are immediately apologetic and fix it right away. Also, it's very clean in there! read more

High turnover. Very slow service Line is always long. Poor management. Mixed up orders. Young kids = high turnover. Not like other local fast food places read more

Always love coming here for lunch when they first open. I come right when they open for lunch and they are always very busy at the drive-thru. Never had an issue with a wrong order! Large fries are filled to the top of the container and I love it! Great, friendly staff as well. Save time and don't go to the drive-thru if you are in rush... order on the touchscreen inside or on your phone so you can pick it up quickly! read more

My wife askes for McDonald's at least 3 times a week we been coming here for the past 4 years this last year or 2 they really stepped up there game food is always hot never cold and always great for as far as McDonald's gos if you like McDonald's this is the spot read more

I rarely go to McD's. Like, once every 5 years. Just on a whim I stopped here on the way home. Drive Thru. Fries sucked. Cold and limp. But the burger, DQPwC, was excellent (for McD's), fresh off the grid. Sometimes you get lucky and it seems this place is run better than most. The parking lot is always full and busy as hell. read more

Worst McDonald's I have ever been to. Slow service is the norm here, but I ordered a burger and small fries. I was told to go park. I did. 22 mins later and 3 orders that aren't mine I still didn't have my food. read more

McDonald's - cars parked in front of a mcdonald's - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Monroe, Connecticut

This place SUCKS. They can't get any orders right. Everything they have is stale. Btw they don't have sweet tea unless u ask for another 4 times. I asked for a new one because the first one was unsweetened and mostly water and the second one was the exact same. Also if you ask for sauce they either give you one or non. If you go inside don't expect fast service. They will be no one at the counter and even if you get their attention they will just tell you "someone be right here to get your order". And if you do mange to get your order they will take FOREVER. read more

I really don't like to give bad reviews but this franchise deserves it. Food was sub-par . Fries were cold and blah. Forgot part of my order and they put burden on you to get back in your car , drive back , wait in line and get refunded . You think they would offer you a cup of coffee or soda on them for their error. No way. This shows how much the care. Will not return. read more

Dining room 100% closed. Bring home McDonalds and you car will smell for a week. Open up guys.

A McDonalds embarrassment. Store hours say 5:00am open for business. Showed up at 5am twice, the store is lit but nobody is home. WTF??? I waited till 5:15am and just gave up and left. The first time, I was told to be patient while they get things open. What a horribly managed franchise. We open "around 5AM" don't rush us to observe the hours we advertise as open. read more

Absolutely disappointed my coke wasnt. Even half way filled! who ever filled this must have been super lazy and my burger wasn't even the right order it had Mayo and Pickles when I asked for lettuce onion and ketchup read more

I understand that COVID has been stressful on the food industry. Today I went thru the Drive thru at McDonalds Route 111, Monroe , Ct. we were Rushed thru the line, then received wrong food. Returned it before we drove away. The woman with dark hair in pony tail was huffing and puffing that it was the right order. I read off my order #20 / 1720 She confirmed. Gave us our bags. We drove away... big mistake. It was the wrong order again. I called from my cell. No answer then and even now. I just want to stress to the employees please slow down , be certain, be kind and courteous . Everyone is trying to cope with the current situation. Thank you !! read more

You got to love the Monroe McDonald's there is advertising all over the place, tv and even yelp for a two for five dollar special. But when you get there is no signs anyplace telling you about the the two for five dollar special. They will give you the special only if you ask. Cheap ownership wants to steal of few bucks from you. With this McDonald's alway ask. Better a few bucks in your pocket then in the cheap ownership pocket. read more

I don't expect a lot from fast food but just found black curly hair in my fries. I'm assuming it came from the man working the window who I saw put the fries in the bag but it's disgusting and everyone should be wearing hair nets. Called and spoke with manager who sounded like he didn't care at all. read more

McDonald's - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Monroe, Connecticut

They weren't so bad a few years ago which is the only reason I am reviewing now. They often forget my orders, the ladies working the drive thru are not friendly and have poor listening skills. Today, I was told to go wait in a parking lot while they cook my burger (at 11:45pm). It took 12 minutes to get it and was basically thrown in my car. The fries were ice cold but I did not have time to go back and had a sick toddler in the car. Over ten dollars for flavorless burger and fries that can't be eaten. It is too gross and expensive to justify the convenience anymore. Glad Panera is moving in soon down the street if I need drive thru and I will just stick to the fabulous delis in town for now. read more

I was waiting for my food and this girl said 318 and handed me the bag and I sat down and took my fries out of the bag not realizing she handed me someone else's order but she said my number and she came over to the table and was very rude and snarky about it to me and she was talking and making fun of me when she was behind the counter because I looked over and saw her I was very unhappy with the employee and I won't come back to the Monroe turnpike McDonald's again read more

Went for breakfast this morning ordered two meals and one sandwich all on bagels. Bagels were burnt to a crisp!! For $24 for breakfast you think they would be able to get it right. read more

Not a McDonald's fan but if you eat at these restaurants you know what your getting into. Food came fast and "good" by McDonald's standards. I would recommend this if you're in a hurry. read more

Rude service and overall cleanliness is below the standard. Does not stack up to nearby locations

Honestly best mcdonalds everrrrr. I go here sometimes for a midnight snack and the quality of the food is still awesome dont hesitate to come here! read more

I know, I know.... it's McDonalds. But having stopped in regularly at all the McD's in the area for Breakfast Bisquits, i find that this place is the only one that gets it right every time. They never goof an order and you get what you expect. The other places more times than not serve up foul tasting and botched orders. Monroe McD's gets the thumbs up. read more

Nice, clean place; employees are friendly and pleasant - but, why doesn't the Monroe McD's participate in any of the special, limited offers McD's shows on tv, radio ads, etc? Like lobster rolls: my husband asked for one during the offer and they looked very confused. They never have any of the specials, so we usually go to a different McD. read more

McDonald's Rt. 111 Monroe ct. I went to McDonald's about 1/2 hour ago. With my wife and grandson. He wanted a shake so we went to the drive up. We went to the pay window and my wife gave me a $10.00 bill. I paid for it and handed my wife the change wrapped in the receipt. Before I got to the pick up window my wife said to me "she gave you change from a $5.00 bill. There weren't any cars behind me so I backed up and told the young lady she gave me the wrong change. I said I gave you a $10.00 bill. She looked at the register screen and hit her self in the head,as to say I goofed. She called the manager to get permission to open the register. I guess she told him about her mistake. My complete is ,she or her manager never said she or he was sorry. My advice to all is when you go to any drive up window, count your change. McDonald's on Rt. 111 in Monroe CT. Shame on you for not evening saying sorry! I'll take that as we don't care how are customers feel! Guess what. I will never use their drive up! read more

let me start by saying i wish there was an option for no stars. the service here is unbearable. the manger totally ruined my food dinning experience. I walked in and all of the chairs were already up. an hour before they were suppose to close. there was 7 people working and I was the only costumer and it took 15 minutes to get chicken nuggets and fries. I also asked for sauce and they didn't give me any. when I went back to the counter to get sauces they gave me a hard time and only gave me one. I needed more than just one. after I finished that sauce and needed more, they told me that I couldn't get more than three. keep in mind i only had one at this point. the manager kept giving me bs as i begged for another sauce. They also locked the door a half an hour before closing and when a group of people came 25 minutes before 11 (the time they close) the manger refused to let them in and unlock the door. When I tried to leave, the door was locked... a major fire hazard to lock people into a establishment. Never go to this mcdonald's, the manger is awful, but you might not even be able to get in though due to the locked doors. read more
