This McDonald's has not been responsible with the coronavirus. Some of their employees don't wear masks. They have them on but are not covering their mouth and nose. One cashier didn't have his mask on and I told him to put it on and he couldn't hear me so snuck his head below the screen to ask what I needed. Such a shame to not use their masks. read more

so im writing a review about mcdonalds.. i dont eat mcdonalds very often..sure the nearest one is only a couple blocks away but so what.. anyways...my little brother's friends were sleeping over and around 2 in the morning they were bugging me to drive them over to mcdonalds for some food..so i took them.. ive been in the drive thru at this mcdonalds a couple of times before so i know the people that work drive thru by face.. i ordered all the crap they wanted off the dollar menu plus food for my gf..one of the items i happened to order was mcnuggets.. anyways, i pull up to the window..and i see a familiar face..i dont know his name..but he is the guy with the jamaican accent who always works drive thru...and normally is very kind and respectful... i dont know who shoved a big mac up his a** that day but he was very rude and snatched the money outta my hand and said "what sauce do u want for your nugget".. i looked over to my brother's friend who had ordered the nuggets and said "hey jerry, what sauce do you want" and before i could even finish the jamaican guy yells at me "WHAT SAUCE..I DONT HAVE TIME"... HOW F*CKING RUDE.. i ignored it because ive ordered from this guy before..he cant take an order down for ishhh...how hard is it to press pictures of the food and numbers on a touch screen register???? and to top it all off...he STILL DIDNT GET MY ORDER RIGHT AFTER REPEATING IT 4 TIMES TO ME!!...I PRACTICALLY RECITED THE ORDER ALONG WITH HIM UNTIL HE INSISTED HE GOT IT....WHICH HE DIDNT!!!!...never coming back here again.. i mean i dont mean to sound like an a**hole but sheeesh!..he cant get my order right..repeats it a bunch of times..AND then tell me HEEEEEE doesnt have time? My daughter and I went to get a meal for breakfast. This is the newly reopened McDonalds. I'm generally disappointed. They reduced the amount of parking outside and the number of seats inside. Our hash browns were not fully cooked and my daughter's oatmeal was soupy. My daughter's water was burning hot too. Be careful. I ordered a couple of meals and without telling me they upsized one of the meals. This is very deceptive. I have had other problems with this McDonalds. A rather dated McDs, small, cramped inside, with old looking seats. You know it is old because you don't serve yourself sodas. Still, it's cozy inside, nice old style music, OK staff, and something familiar. Nice place to just chill, relax, and hangout. After which, you'll be refreshed to move on about your day. read more

The new remodel McDonald's looks pretty fancy but the old design had more parking spaces and the inside also had more seats/tables. Also, it seems harder to walk in or out back to your car with this new layout?? Maybe, I'm not used to it yet?? As a kid eating McDonalds was cool cause you get a toy, as less for me. Heading to this location, by the look of the outside makes you think you came out of a time machine. The building has this vintage '1950's' diner style look to it. When you add the flags, it's look pretty impressing compare to other fast food chains in that area. When you go inside, most of the staff are ok. The food is risking to eat since it is, fast food. The other bad thing about this location is how crowded the seats are to each other. Big example: check out the corner end. Basically you have to get through one table to reach the other. I think most ppl understand the food, the drive thru are speedy, good enough for my standards. It almost feels wrong giving a McDonalds 4-stars. But after visiting a couple times following their remodel, this particular one is pretty nice! The food's standard (no elaboration needed, I'm sure). What sets this Micky Ds apart is that it's consistently clean. It almost feels like a fancy, modern coffee shop with hip, colorful furniture throughout the restaurant. My favorite thing here? The create-your-own soda fountain. Mix and match flavors and let your imagination run wild. Lime Coke, anyone? read more

i have a confession. my name is charmaine, and i'm a mcdonald's-holic. especially THIS mickie dees. there are a lot of people who come to this franchise which causes great turn over of food. this way, you can be sure that your burgers are always freshly prepared and the fries are always crispy and piping hot. when you see those commercials on tv that say "at your participating mcdonald's"...they are referring to this one because every new mcd's product that comes out, they are sure to have it. and the staff at this particular mcd's are so friendly and really deliver service with a smile. i know fast food isn't exactly something you should eat...but when it's this good, sometimes i just can't resist. read more

Wanted to try the Garlic Fries. Soggy, stale fries with some type of cream sauce mixed in with garlic and parsley. Compared to another McDonald's who DID NOT put in a cream sauce it was better without. Thought all McDonald's are to use the same exact recipe. Smaller venue, not good for the area. And should have been kept cleaner for 2pm. Purchased twice the same day and the cashier, different ones, seemed lost. If they are new, train them more. read more

Usually I go drive through to purchase my breakfast plate, by the time I order, I always tell the cashier I need extra butter pack instead of jam and syrupy. I remind to the cashier when I pay and also remind the delivery counter but they never listen, the only answer is "thank you" Those worker seem changed from those people I used with, I am so disappointed, Finally I decided to give them 1 more chance, if next week I got the same service, I will not go back to this McDonald in millbrae again. read more

The food is well, McDonalds. My review is solely on the renovation and the addition to the drive through. Opinion is that poor planning went into it. Always go there in the early morning order by drive thru, the guy wears the microphone helps with placing order is always nice and friendly, same as the lady works at the food delivery window. Today December 1st, I had an experience on the drive thru, it's a very common mistake from McDonalds especially in California because the labors they hired, and they have bad communication issue whereas if you buy things at In N Out they normally don't make mistakes , I said that is because everyone can see it in McDonalds Drive thru as they frequently make mistakes on giving you the wrong change a wrong order and a wrong sauce. Today they asked us If we want cream in the coffee, we said yes and we wanted it in 3 and so she repeated it, we were on the rush so we didn't check the bag, and I have to tell everyone you have to check your bag if there's something missing, and usually you will find something wrong I still gave it 2 stars because it's convenient the taste it's basically consistent but only the mistakes. read more

It's not bad modern McDonald, clean and neat. The services are OK am just like most other McDonalds out there. The only thing I don't like so far is there isn't too much parking in the front. Most likely you will need to park in the spaces that infringement of other shops. read more

This review is NOT for the McDonald's franchise (reading a book about how they treat their animals made me become a vegetarian, if that says anything about how I feel about it). This review is for the exceptional service! And the 2 items I had while I was there. I came here with my dad for the first time since I was 9. I kept hearing about the smore pies and really wanted to try one! I finally got around to convincing myself to step into a McDonalds when woops, they don't sell it anymore. :P BUT!! They have pumpkin now! And I love pumpkin like scooby and shaggy love their scooby snacks, so we got that and sat down. Review of pumpkin pie: Kind of bland filling. It was warm, the dough had that firm softness of a perfect pie crust and the filling had a pretty good texture as well, but it would have gone very nicely with a hot drink. Say, a peppermint mocha, perhaps? So my dad an I got up to buy one, but since I have a cold right now, we figured it wouldn't be too keen to split a drink and decided to get a MCFLURRY (!!!!) to split in two cups instead. (I love those things to death, only had 2 in my life till today but I can still say I am passionate about them. Even Donahough from 30 Rock likes them.) They had limited edition peppermint and here's my review on that: Soft serve blended with peppermint chocolate rocks GREAT peppermint-y smell, peppermint flavor is perfect, it was just a little too crunchy for my liking Onto my review of the service! With Halloween coming up, McDonald's Happy Meal toy is a Scooby-Doo pail (that I'm assuming the meal comes in and can later be used for trick-or-treating) that comes in three different designs. Green-mystery machine style, White-retro w/lots of Scooby faces/expressions with a smaller image of "the gang", and Purple-spooky fog/forrest with a scared "Scoob and the gang" with lots of fun details. All have 'classic' Scooby-Doo artwork. My dad and I are ridiculous Scooby fans (my retainer has a mystery machine sticker imbedded in it. I'm not sure if you needed to know that...) So we were so psyched to see these! We were about to buy one and had the poor cashier (manager I'm assuming) go and hunt down all the ones he could find. Right when we were about to pay for it, I changed my mind (being the indecisive girl I am) and didn't get it. I try not give into buying unessential items that might clutter my house. As he was making our mcflurry, my dad and I continued to admire the buckets one last time. Do you see where this story is going? As he handed us the McFlurry, he also handed us the bucket I was going to get. FREE. A GIFT. GENEROSITY. THOUGHTFULNESS. UNEXPECTED. UNNECESSARY. KIND. It made us SO happy. I'm looking at it right now with a huge smile on my face. I love it so much and every time I look at it, it will remind me of my nostalgic outing with my pop and the wonderful, kind actions that people can make happen in our world every now and then. Maybe I can come back to "support" them more often and not feel so guilty buying limited edition pies and McFlurrys from now on... ;) So that's my story on the McDonald's in Millbrae. I Just moved back to the Bay and have been coming to this McDonald's for about 2 months now. To be fair it has been off and on but this is the first time that I was rufused help. The young man working the front taking orders is always great he tried to help me because where I needed to sit down was not clean. The person who sat before me was very dirty left the tray with all the food half eaten on the table and on the floor. As well as it smells like piss. Yes I could of sat somewhere else but this is the only place in here that my cord reaches to charge my laptop. When the young man asked management if someone could come over to mop or sweep up they looked at me and shrugged their shoulders. They literally ask me and then punch in the order so where does the miscommunication come in?? Recently they even completely forgot my fries. Get my order from the drive through pick up window after waiting for the dude to finish his conversation with one of his coworkers while the bag sits there. Pull out and pull over. The "new fresh quarter pounder" was so cold the cheese was solid and formed. It looked and felt like it had been sitting on some counter for god knows how long. A crazy ridiculous amount of onions on it. The french fries were barely warm. I go back and the worker in charge looks at it, presses her hand on it and says nothing.
