McDonaldland shake from the drive thru 8/31/25
    Megan A.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a western themed McD's as the outside looks saloon cowboy style. They have a nice mural on the street-side.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I only utilized the drive thru to get an evening treat so cannot comment on the inside. This was pretty much just like any other McDonald's and served its purpose.

Less than satisfied. I hate to leave a poor review but there were not many positive points to today's visit. This is clearly a BUSY location. They do NOT have enough staff. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My first impression was DIRTY[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]THE BATHROOMS messy NO Toilet Paper, No soap! Overflowing trash[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Enter dining area. Messy. No live help kiosks only and 2 are shut down with an overwhelming line.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We fortunately split as we arrived and got an order in.... 40 min later we were finally called. As we stood waiting we watched people pile trash around the cans, throw it near, and watched a very over whelmed staff begin to.lose patience and kindness. We asked for BBQ sauce and were told no you have to pay. OK no problem ill.pay.... well we don't have time to charge you (was the response) When I.pushed back and again asked for the BBQ sauce I got an eye roll. Storm.off. a 2 sauces literally thrown into my bag. I was mortified that I had to return to the counter to ask for tea and a lid because the very dirty and empty drink station was out of everything. I heard people at the counter asking for tea or missing items. The response they got was no.odea when we will.have it ... it will be a long time.... I asked for a lid and just went back for water. That didn't go well.either. the water that came out was very yellow. I dumped it and gave up. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I also took my trash with me because out of the 8 cans I saw each one had an overwhelming piles of trash Overflowing around it[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Not returning

    Too sweet NOV2025

This was our pit stop when we wanted an iced coffee. The first time I ordered a large size and it came out way too sweet. It's best to go to the kiosk and make your ingredient adjustments to your taste. The second time we went back our drinks were perfect.

Lone Pine's lone McDonalds. Vegas has 72. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Epically clean and tremendously great service by the young lady this morning whom appeared to be working 5 jobs simultaneously.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Yet still, she was calm, collected, smiling, and took valuable seconds to help me navigate the McDigital menu and still pay cash. This girl will own a few of own McDonalds in the near future, no doubt on that. If there is a knock, it belongs to Corporate Mack. McCoffee is no longer a value. A medium coffee is now more costly than a venti of the same from the Puget Sound coffee company giant.

My credit card statement showing the kiosk order did go through and no refund offered

The phone number listed on Yelp and Google for this restaurant is DISCONNECTED. I wish I could give fewer stars. First of all, I visited the restaurant to place an order in person. Being from New Zealand, I find it easier to use my credit card when dealing directly with a staff member rather than using a kiosk. However, the staff member rudely yelled at me to use the kiosk. I complied and waited nearly 20 minutes for assistance after placing my order and having my card charged. The kiosk malfunctioned, and I received no order. When I spoke to the manager, he was dismissive and claimed the order didn't go through, even though the charge appeared on my card. In the end, I went through the drive-through to place my order successfully, and pay again; but I was ultimately charged $55 for a single cheeseburger meal. To make matters worse, I can't even contact the restaurant to get a refund for the failed kiosk order. This experience was absolutely frustrating and unprofessional.

She politely tried to place her order and explained she has allergies and needed a few items removed from her burger. Instead of being helped, she was dismissed and barely given the chance to speak. When her food came out, it had cheese on it--something she specifically asked to be removed due to an allergy. When she brought it to their attention, the employee snatched the burger from her hands and threw it in the trash in a very rude manner. My daughter also witnessed them carelessly throwing the ingredients onto the bun while remaking her order, which was very concerning given her allergy. When the corrected order was ready, it was simply slid across the counter without a single word. I went inside to address the situation and asked to speak to a manager, only to find out the person who treated my daughter this way was the manager on duty an older Hispanic male. This is completely unacceptable. No child or any customer should be treated with such disrespect, especially when communicating a food allergy. My daughter was nearly in tears. This experience was upsetting and unprofessional.

She came back and said in fact they don't serve Margarita's. She said she had no idea, and that she didn't even live in the area. What does where she lives have anything to do with anything? I don't want to be mean, but ?? I ordered the 1/2 rack of these "Famous Ribs." My hubby the Flat Iron steak. We asked for salads as the choice instead of soup. We wait and wait...starving after having hiked all over the Alabama Hills. It is customary to get the salad ahead of time, but this young lady was doing other things. Suddenly after 15 min. we got our meals with no salad. She was getting ready to walk away when I asked about the salads. She went and got them not really concerned about it, and was not really understanding. So onto these ribs! I'm traumatized by these things that were so overcooked and dry. What on earth was done to these things? It seems they were boiled, then frozen, then defrosted, and microwaved? Who knows!! I do know this. I have been making ribs for a long time. For the love of God you don't need to kill the pig 15 times! My hubbies Flat Iron Steak was alright. Not completely hideous. Needless to say, there are not many choices in the Lone Pine. This is not a choice I would ever venture to again if in the area.

Didn't realize that Pizza Factory is part of a 100+ store franchise with locations in 5 states. I love supporting local businesses but the pricing here was offensive. Old menus inside restaurant are showing old…read moreprices. :-( My husband and I travel A LOT throughout California for both business and pleasure (several times a month), and I'm seeing a disturbing trend growing where many restaurants/eateries are charging more than their posted prices. Now I don't know if this is intentional or just an, "Oopsie doodle! We forgot to update the prices across the board!" But I'm seeing it at both independent and corporate owned places, and frankly, I'm growing tired of the increasing lack of integrity and no longer being able to trust a business. In this particular instance yesterday (Sunday, June 14th), after a lovely day up at the Whitney Portal, hubs and I wanted to grab some dinner before our long drive home. He went to high school in LP 30+ years ago, and Lone Pine's Pizza Factory holds a special, nostalgic place in his heart. We often grab some grub here on every visit. This time we ordered a medium fountain drink and a large "Custom Calzone" with onions, artichokes, meatballs, and sausage, along with a medium soda. The menu, next to the cash register, advertises it for $20.55 "with your choice of 4 toppings" to-go. The total came to $29.48, including a $2 tip, and I didn't think much of it after an exhausting day of high-altitude hiking. The young male employee, appearing to be of high school age, asked if I would like the receipt, and out of reflex I said, "yes, please." He was polite, friendly, and attentive. He even spelled my name correctly on the receipt (bonus points)! Employee #1: 5 stars While waiting for our order, I decided to add-on the salad bar (we love a salad bar where we can prepare it ourself!). The veggies all appeared fresh, the ones we ate tasted fresh, and the salad bar area was clean and tidy despite the busy restaurant and lots of kids running around. Salad bar: 5 stars As I was standing in line behind the customer in front of me placing her order, I glanced at the receipt and noticed the $23.00 charge for the large calzone. This caught my attention, because before our first order, we planned to order a pizza. But their pizza prices seemed exorbitant to us. Now, we do understand that Lone Pine is in a remote area, and it's not a chain restaurant, so cost of doing business is more than the average cost for a corporate chain. We expect the prices to be higher than the city, but $30 for a medium pizza is too steep. So we opted for the calzone instead ($20.55), which offered more than enough food for us and enough for today's lunch. We don't mind spending money if the value is there, and while their pizza has always turned out tasty for us, the price seems way too high for a medium pizza...in our humble opinion. Pricing/value: 3 stars It was my turn to order, and this time I was assisted by another young man, but appearing to be a few years older than the last. I let him know that I already had an order in for a calzone, and that I wanted to add on a salad to-go, but I noticed a price discrepancy on my receipt. He took a look at it for a moment, and then responded that because I ordered beef (meatball) and sausage, that it costs a little more. I pointed out that nowhere on the menu does it state there is a premium price on any of the items, and that the "Custom Calzone" allows up to "4 items," without any exceptions or premium prices advertised. He acknowledged my concerns, but ultimately said that $23.00 is the correct price for the large calzone. I let him know that this is deceptive and false advertising, and I was not satisfied about this experience. In an attempt to make things right, he offered me the salad bar at no cost. I appreciated the gesture and accepted it, and I let him know that the menus need to be updated to reflect accurate pricing. He agreed and apologized for the mix up. He was polite, though a little misinformed (by stating that the calzone cost more "because of the meat"), and he did attempt to right this wrong. However, I wasn't looking for a free item. I would've gladly paid for the salad; I just wanted transparent pricing. Employee #2: 4 stars (could've been 5 stars if not for the wrong reason over "premium topping charge") Overall, the customer service was good, the employees were professional and friendly, the restaurant & restroom was clean (considering how busy it was and compared to many other previous visits)...they were doing the best they could. Our food also came out promptly and just as we ordered, so no complaints there. Let me be clear: this was NOT an employee problem. This IS a management problem that needs to be corrected promptly! If replacing the old menus is too costly, then put a big sign up at the cash register or something equivalent. Don't scam & deceive the customer in hopes that they don't catch it! BE TRANSPARENT! Calzone (presentation/taste): 5 stars Inaccurate menu price vs actual charge: 1 star :-(
