Went in at 9:30am and asked if there was anything on the dollar menu for breakfast. The feel said there wasn't. After sitting down and eating having paid full price I noticed the numerous dollar breakfast items on the electronic menu board. I asked the same girl at the counter about it and she didn't give a crap. Rolled her eyes and said oh well I just got here. She was rude and clearly untrained. Passing through Lone Pine on way to So Cal today and decided to go to the drive thru at McDonalds. The only reason they get 2 stars is because the employees at both windows were very pleasant and professional. We got our food and I must say I thought the McDonalds in our town (Minden,NV) was the worst but they now have compettion with this location. The soda was off, the fries were room temp and our burgers tasted like they were made hours previous. We would have brought it back but we were already down the road. It's a safe bet that we won't be stopping here the next time we are passing through. Guaranteed. read more

Stopped at this McDonald's for lunch on our way home. It was around 12 when we came in, and maybe they had a bunch of customers come in, but the floors were dirty by the drink station and in the woman's restroom. There's not much to do in Lone Pine. If you are hungry and on a long ride home after a weekend of snowboarding, sometimes you crave some Mickey D's. This location is kind of weird though, in that the menu didn't have the usual fair on it. The sandwiches I usually look for were hard to find. I am not sure if this is unique to this location or if it is a sign of things to come. I had the Grand Big Mac and a medium Vanilla Shake. It was supposed to come with 2 slices of cheese, 2 patties of meat, and so forth. The burger patties are there but the rest didn't seem to be there. Maybe, Maybe not. I asked the cashier about it and he said it was all there and I just couldn't see it. When I think of the Big Mac, I think of really two sandwiches stacked with one less bun. So it is pretty easy to see everything. Not bread, burger patty, bread, burger patty, everything else, bread. Perhaps this location is just too different for me. read more

Dear 'there's a reason why I'm the manager" When i order a #10 combo with a large fry but a MEDiUM drink, you have a few options: 1. Charge each item separately 2. Charge for a MEDIUM combo with an upgrade fee for the fries 3. Charge for a LARGE combo and just give me a smaller drink One of those options is NOT to charge for a LARGE combo AND charge me an upgrade fee of 90 cents; something that you just were not getting. I've seen people getting quite upset because it's not open the hours that this app and maybe somewhere else that it might be posted. This location opens at 5 and usually closes at 10 but if they see no customers they will close early and it's allowed. Because of this pandemic it's now open at 6 and closes at 9. Kudos to the staff for managing large crowds through out the day. They maintain the place very well despite heavy rush all day. Their toilets are a little cramped but well maintained. Service is quick. Drive-thru queue can some times be long during peak hours. read more

On the way to Mammoth over the winter break, ordered the McRib sandwich. They neglected to tell me that they ran out of the long sandwich bun and instead put the McRib on a hamburger bun. Would have been nice for them to let me know and give me the option of ordering something else. Otherwise, relatively clean and friendly place. Bathrooms could use a bit of attention, but there is a lot of people traffic coming and going. read more

This has got to be the only McDonald's in California that charges for ranch dressing. Spent $10.00 on crappy food then asked for one ranch dip for my daughter and they said "Twenty Five Cents" All I had was a credit card and they were seriously going to run it for twenty five cents. Ridiculous. Left without ranch dressing and crying daughter. Management! Give your employees a chance to exercise some common sense please! BEWARE OF FRESHNESS Traveling through town and pulled over for chicken tenders and a cup of coffee to go for the road. As I was ordering her supervisor came over and interrupted my order telling the girl something like go home and she was flustered and then he said finish your order first. My point to that was that he was totally unaware there were customers right in front of him. Could have waited. Bad customer service. I got my coffee and of course it was good and hot. The chicken tenders were absolutely discussing. I've ordered these in the past at other mc Donald's and they are decent for fast food. These looked rancid. They were dark in color and looked like they had been sitting it grease. I ordered a 4 piece and looks like I got a 2 piece sliced into 4 and recooked. I took a bite and spit it out. Did not finish. Something definitely not right. Too late to go back, I was already in the road. Why go back to get their crap food. If they serve chicken like that there is no quality control and the preparer does NOT care about what goes out. I believe if I ate it I would be sick and throwing up. PATHETIC. Stopped for breakfast, ordered 3 breakfast meals for kids. Asked if I wanted drink with those so ordered oj. Lady didn't say anything, but when I get receipt, she up charged me $1 per meal for oj. Why wouldn't she have said something... my kids would barely drink whatever I ordered so wouldn't have spent the extra $3. Really annoying, breakfast meal ended up being 7.99 per meal??? Recently we stopped at this McD's going down 395 and a week later going up. An expensive McDonald's? Everything at the Lone Pine, Bishop, and Mammoth McDonald's are $1 or more than most McD's. $24 for two adults (2 egg McMuffins, 2 double cheeseburgers, one drink). This mc Donald's is fabulous! (For a Mc'D's) My family and I stop here, to and from Mammoth, and we go to mammoth quite a bit. We just stopped again tonight. It's always fresh and hot. The employees are always very nice, especially in the drive thru. The bathrooms are totally fine. The nice thing is the door opens out and no Handle, so you just push it open with your foot, after you've washed your hands. How nice is that?! In the 5 years I've been going there, I've never had a problem. I'm trying to figure out why the one in Bishop has a higher rating. That one is gross. The gay guy ( calm down everyone) you can totally tell he's gay, he wears lots of makeup) well , he's a real bitch , and we will never go there again. The food is gross and it's dirty in there. Hey People, stop yelping about prices at mcDonalds. You should know that prices vary from town to town. Careful what you order and what they charge you! I found out the hard way#%#*%left without a receipt and was in a hurry and was overcharged!

I went in to order a Big Mac and 20 piece chicken nuggets for dinner. There was 1 person ahead of me and 4 after me that all got their food before me, even though their orders were similar. After 25 minutes of waiting I decided to ask about it only to be treated like I was a brand new customer- apparently they didn't remember serving me or something. When I asked about where my food was I was provided with a lame excuse and not even an apology. They said that the Big Mac was not made yet and that it was coming shortly. After waiting this long I did not want my food anymore, just a refund. The cashier decided to argue with me so I tried to get a manager. It took me asking about 4 times and threatening to call the cops before they would bring the manager out. The manager also provided no apology simply gave me a refund and said they would file a report, whatever that means. All in all, the people at this McDonald's do not understand how to satisfy the customer and are awful at customer service. I left knowing I will never go back. read more
