Standard McDonald's. Clean. Seating is restricted to 30 minutes though. Kiosks to order your food, I didn't see anyone able to order at the register. Service is slow. But they appear understaffed. Staff were friendly and code was not needed for the bathroom even thought it said it was needed. Location is on the main road, across from the high school, and with Mt. Whitney in the background. Don't go when the high schoolers come over for lunch. They are like loud, chaotic baboons who have no awareness that others are waiting to order. Crows like to hang out on the nearby signs in the parking lot.

This is a western themed McD's as the outside looks saloon cowboy style. They have a nice mural on the street-side. I only utilized the drive thru to get an evening treat so cannot comment on the inside. This was pretty much just like any other McDonald's and served its purpose.

Less than satisfied. I hate to leave a poor review but there were not many positive points to today's visit. This is clearly a BUSY location. They do NOT have enough staff. My first impression was DIRTY THE BATHROOMS messy NO Toilet Paper, No soap! Overflowing trash. Enter dining area. Messy. No live help kiosks only and 2 are shut down with an overwhelming line. We fortunately split as we arrived and got an order in.... 40 min later we were finally called. As we stood waiting we watched people pile trash around the cans, throw it near, and watched a very over whelmed staff begin to.lose patience and kindness. We asked for BBQ sauce and were told no you have to pay. OK no problem ill.pay.... well we don't have time to charge you (was the response) When I.pushed back and again asked for the BBQ sauce I got an eye roll. Storm.off. a 2 sauces literally thrown into my bag. I was mortified that I had to return to the counter to ask for tea and a lid because the very dirty and empty drink station was out of everything. I heard people at the counter asking for tea or missing items. The response they got was no.odea when we will.have it ... it will be a long time.... I asked for a lid and just went back for water. That didn't go well.either. the water that came out was very yellow. I dumped it and gave up. I also took my trash with me because out of the 8 cans I saw each one had an overwhelming piles of trash Overflowing around it Not returning

    Too sweet NOV2025

This was our pit stop when we wanted an iced coffee. The first time I ordered a large size and it came out way too sweet. It's best to go to the kiosk and make your ingredient adjustments to your taste. The second time we went back our drinks were perfect.

Lone Pine's lone McDonalds. Vegas has 72. Epically clean and tremendously great service by the young lady this morning whom appeared to be working 5 jobs simultaneously. Yet still, she was calm, collected, smiling, and took valuable seconds to help me navigate the McDigital menu and still pay cash. This girl will own a few of own McDonalds in the near future, no doubt on that. If there is a knock, it belongs to Corporate Mack. McCoffee is no longer a value. A medium coffee is now more costly than a venti of the same from the Puget Sound coffee company giant.

My credit card statement showing the kiosk order did go through and no refund offered

The phone number listed on Yelp and Google for this restaurant is DISCONNECTED. I wish I could give fewer stars. First of all, I visited the restaurant to place an order in person. Being from New Zealand, I find it easier to use my credit card when dealing directly with a staff member rather than using a kiosk. However, the staff member rudely yelled at me to use the kiosk. I complied and waited nearly 20 minutes for assistance after placing my order and having my card charged. The kiosk malfunctioned, and I received no order. When I spoke to the manager, he was dismissive and claimed the order didn't go through, even though the charge appeared on my card. In the end, I went through the drive-through to place my order successfully, and pay again; but I was ultimately charged $55 for a single cheeseburger meal. To make matters worse, I can't even contact the restaurant to get a refund for the failed kiosk order. This experience was absolutely frustrating and unprofessional.

She politely tried to place her order and explained she has allergies and needed a few items removed from her burger. Instead of being helped, she was dismissed and barely given the chance to speak. When her food came out, it had cheese on it--something she specifically asked to be removed due to an allergy. When she brought it to their attention, the employee snatched the burger from her hands and threw it in the trash in a very rude manner. My daughter also witnessed them carelessly throwing the ingredients onto the bun while remaking her order, which was very concerning given her allergy. When the corrected order was ready, it was simply slid across the counter without a single word. I went inside to address the situation and asked to speak to a manager, only to find out the person who treated my daughter this way was the manager on duty an older Hispanic male. This is completely unacceptable. No child or any customer should be treated with such disrespect, especially when communicating a food allergy. My daughter was nearly in tears. This experience was upsetting and unprofessional.

Although they weren't as busy as the Alabama cafe my husband and I found their food and the atmosphere to be great and actually much better than the Alabama Cafe. I ordered a vegetable omelette. The veges were plentiful and sautéed just right with a great flavor. I asked for a side of salsa and it was super good, obviously homemade and fresh. It came with home fried potatoes which were from freshly sliced potatoes (not frozen) and they were also seasoned perfectly. In addition i substituted fresh fruit for toast and it came with fresh cantaloupe, pineapple and berries, all sweet and delicious. ( Alabama cafe wouldn't allow for substitutes) My husband ordered ham and eggs and he said it was really good as it was a nice thick ham steak and again, great flavor. The cafe felt cozy and comfortable with lots of antique decor to check out. They also sell jars of honey that i plan on buying next time. We will be back for sure on our next trip to mammoth and I hope this review will draw attention to Totems as their food was great and they deserved the review.

She came back and said in fact they don't serve Margarita's. She said she had no idea, and that she didn't even live in the area. What does where she lives have anything to do with anything? I don't want to be mean, but ?? I ordered the 1/2 rack of these "Famous Ribs." My hubby the Flat Iron steak. We asked for salads as the choice instead of soup. We wait and wait...starving after having hiked all over the Alabama Hills. It is customary to get the salad ahead of time, but this young lady was doing other things. Suddenly after 15 min. we got our meals with no salad. She was getting ready to walk away when I asked about the salads. She went and got them not really concerned about it, and was not really understanding. So onto these ribs! I'm traumatized by these things that were so overcooked and dry. What on earth was done to these things? It seems they were boiled, then frozen, then defrosted, and microwaved? Who knows!! I do know this. I have been making ribs for a long time. For the love of God you don't need to kill the pig 15 times! My hubbies Flat Iron Steak was alright. Not completely hideous. Needless to say, there are not many choices in the Lone Pine. This is not a choice I would ever venture to again if in the area.

The restaurant was nearly full when we arrived but no one was taking advantage of the outdoor seating. The menu and prices are what you would expect from a typical American-style diner. The desserts, though, are several cuts above. It was already 2pm when we arrived (the restaurant closes at 3pm) and I was surprised to see that there were still desserts available, as they were sold out on every one of my previous visits. I've always wanted to try one of their pies. Unfortunately, the only pies left were whole pies and, though I was sorely tempted, I knew that I would end up eating the whole pie at one sitting. Instead, I ordered the peach blackberry coffee cake. Wow! I don't know who's doing their baking for them, but their talents are being wasted in Lone Pine. That coffee cake in an L.A. restaurant would be featured in Eater LA at a minimum.
