The "crispy chicken strips" were dry not crispy. The breading suck. It's a layer of dough. The chicken itself was dry and hard to chew. The fries were soggy. The cheeseburger isn't as bad. And the soft serve is ok I suppose. I still don't understand McDonald's. But excellent service. The tables are always cleaned. The workers greet people. Standard McDonald's. Clean. Seating is restricted to 30 minutes though. Kiosks to order your food, I didn't see anyone able to order at the register. Service is slow. But they appear understaffed. Staff were friendly and code was not needed for the bathroom even thought it said it was needed. Location is on the main road, across from the high school, and with Mt. Whitney in the background. Don't go when the high schoolers come over for lunch. They are like loud, chaotic baboons who have no awareness that others are waiting to order. Crows like to hang out on the nearby signs in the parking lot. read more

This is a western themed McD's as the outside looks saloon cowboy style. They have a nice mural on the street-side. I only utilized the drive thru to get an evening treat so cannot comment on the inside. This was pretty much just like any other McDonald's and served its purpose. read more

Less than satisfied. I hate to leave a poor review but there were not many positive points to today's visit. This is clearly a BUSY location. They do NOT have enough staff. My first impression was DIRTY THE BATHROOMS messy NO Toilet Paper, No soap! Overflowing trash. Enter dining area. Messy. No live help kiosks only and 2 are shut down with an overwhelming line. We fortunately split as we arrived and got an order in.... 40 min later we were finally called. As we stood waiting we watched people pile trash around the cans, throw it near, and watched a very over whelmed staff begin to.lose patience and kindness. We asked for BBQ sauce and were told no you have to pay. OK no problem ill.pay.... well we don't have time to charge you (was the response) When I.pushed back and again asked for the BBQ sauce I got an eye roll. Storm.off. a 2 sauces literally thrown into my bag. I was mortified that I had to return to the counter to ask for tea and a lid because the very dirty and empty drink station was out of everything. I heard people at the counter asking for tea or missing items. The response they got was no.odea when we will.have it ... it will be a long time.... I asked for a lid and just went back for water. Lone Pine's lone McDonalds. Vegas has 72. Epically clean and tremendously great service by the young lady this morning whom appeared to be working 5 jobs simultaneously. Yet still, she was calm, collected, smiling, and took valuable seconds to help me navigate the McDigital menu and still pay cash. This girl will own a few of own McDonalds in the near future, no doubt on that. If there is a knock, it belongs to Corporate Mack. McCoffee is no longer a value. A medium coffee is now more costly than a venti of the same from the Puget Sound coffee company giant. read more

Why are you closing at 10 pm when hours are stated as closing at 11 pm????? Absurd and annoying

Kiosk tells you to take a table tent and the staff don't bring you the food so it sat on the counter. While on the counter some kids were digging through our bag for the napkins since the resultant doesn't have anything out and available. No napkins or condiments you must ask the employees which avoid the front counter at all cost. The price seems higher than most other McDonalds $36 for two adult meals and a kids meal. Won't be stopping here on our roads trips again. read more

Prime location en route to Mammoth. Poorly managed. Order by kiosk, get your table number, and unlike every other McDonald's, they don't bring the food to your table and just give you blank stares at the counter. Not sure what the point of the table number is then if you still have to listen for your number to be called. Which number you may ask? The order number or table number? Good question. No idea. All I know is that when the blank stare didn't help, I found my order by TABLE number on the counter while all of the carry out orders presumably were by order number. read more

I get it, it's a McDonald's. I did not have high expectations, and yet this location failed to meet even those low expectations. I placed an order online. For the correct location. They didn't get the order. They told me their intenet is unreliable. Here's an idea. Don't take online orders if you don't have reliable internet. It was reliable enough for the charge to go through. I can charge it back through Amex, so I wasn't super worried about that. But then I try to order at the window, you know, because they say they can't find the online order they successfully charged me for. They do not take orders anymore. The ordering system at the Lone Pine Mcdonald's was hard to operate, and expensive for add even the slightest things like cheese to a happy meal. We waited about 30 minutes for our first order, which only had 1 patty, when we ordered a double patty. After we received a new cheeseburger with unmelted cheese :/ We waited another 30 minutes for a tiny order. Overall the supposedly fast food restaurant wasn't fast. read more

The phone number listed on Yelp and Google for this restaurant is DISCONNECTED. I wish I could give fewer stars. First of all, I visited the restaurant to place an order in person. Being from New Zealand, I find it easier to use my credit card when dealing directly with a staff member rather than using a kiosk. However, the staff member rudely yelled at me to use the kiosk. I complied and waited nearly 20 minutes for assistance after placing my order and having my card charged. The kiosk malfunctioned, and I received no order. When I spoke to the manager, he was dismissive and claimed the order didn't go through, even though the charge appeared on my card. In the end, I went through the drive-through to place my order successfully, and pay again; but I was ultimately charged $55 for a single cheeseburger meal. To make matters worse, I can't even contact the restaurant to get a refund for the failed kiosk order. This experience was absolutely frustrating and unprofessional. read more

We had stopped by McDonald's to get a quick bite to eat. This McDonald's in Lone Pine is on the way to Mammoth Mountain. The inside is what you would expect at a modern McDonalds with kiosks to order food. I ordered my food through the app which was awesome. The food is typical McDonald's so it is consistent if you want some fast food. However, their bathroom situation was deplorable. It is clearly that they are not maintaining it which is primarily the reason for the Yelp rating. The urinal was overflowing and the men's bathroom was not clean. The women's restroom was sad. The door was actually locked. The employees tried their best to open it, but the keypad numbers were missing. It took them 30 minutes to get it open. Some of the ladies ended up using the men's restroom because the women's restroom wasn't working. This location needs to get it together considering that lots of people will be stopping to get food and to use the restroom as I imagine that it is a popular rest stop. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. I went to this location recently and it was a complete disaster from the start. First, they got my order completely wrong. I was understanding about it and went back up to the counter to get it fixed--but instead of a simple apology, I was met with a rude and condescending attitude from the manager. The young girl manager clearly had no idea how to handle customer service. When I told her about the mistake and said I'd repay for the corrected item (since that's what she insisted), I realized I left my wallet in the car. I politely explained and went to go grab it--but she rolled her eyes and made a sarcastic comment about how "everyone has Apple Pay these days." Seriously?? Not everyone wants to use Apple Pay, and I shouldn't be made to feel embarrassed because I don't. The way she handled the entire situation was unprofessional, dismissive, and downright rude. This McDonald's needs to seriously retrain its staff on basic manners and customer care. I've never felt so uncomfortable at a fast food restaurant. I won't be coming back--and I suggest you don't either unless you enjoy attitude with your fries. I can't remember the managers name but she is younger like 18-22 with black hair and I have no problem with younger people being given higher roles in the workplace but at least train them how to do their job first! read more

What has happened to McDonald's. The worse service I have seen. I arrived and walked in and the girl told me that I had to order at the kiosk. I was told that is the only way to order. I said I didn't want to pay with a credit card . The girl told me that I could pay at the window, then I asked why she couldn't take the order at the window. Stopped by McDonald's in Lone Pine, CA, on the way back from Lake Tahoe, hoping for a quick bite. The experience was anything but quick or pleasant. Used the kiosk to order, but couldn't find an option for iced tea, so I went with a Sprite and planned to ask for a change before getting my order. I waited for nearly 10 minutes just to get the staff's attention. When I finally did, the manager was rude and insisted iced tea wasn't an option with the $6 meal deal--this was a lie, as my friend managed to order it just fine. He refused to replace the drink. When I got my order, no straw or ketchup was included, so I had to ask again, and it was like pulling teeth to get a response. It felt like the staff were trained to ignore customers. I even saw another customer get rudely dismissed by the manager when trying to pay with cash. The manager yelled instead of explaining the process calmly. The restaurant itself was in terrible shape--overflowing trash, dirty tables, and a filthy bathroom. It seemed understaffed, but that doesn't excuse the blatant disrespect for customers. This was the worst experience I've ever had at a McDonald's. The fountain drinks were coming out clear but they kept selling the drinks. The food was cold and it took a half an hour to get. I was just ordering a large drink. After waiting a while to order at the counter, I went to the kiosk. Ordering was easy but then I still had to wait for all food orders to be filled. Eventually they got around to handing me a cup. The whole process took ten minutes when it could have taken 30 seconds if the server would have helped me at the counter. read more

It's a McDonald's. It's a small town and there isn't a ton of options that aren't charging tourist prices. Went on 8/7/2021 and got an ice cream. Bathrooms are clean and the building looks neat. Kiosks don't work and napkins and other items are all behind the counter. A bit short staffed but everyone was polite. No real complaints. 3.5 stars. read more

An elderly lady, in her 70's, asked the shift supervisor if she could place an order at the register. There was only one person waiting inside, no orders pending, and he told her no. Kiosk orders only. He didn't offer to help either. I had ordered and received fries that had clearly been sitting for a long time. They were less than warm and completely flimsy. Run of the mill. Maybe a bit slow service. Came here to get a coffee to go in the morning, took maybe ten minutes to get it. It does have self-order touch screens which let you order without waiting, but then is lacking staff in the back and the orders seem to come out slowly. There is no customer service. The servers were not allowed to take my order for some reason, and I had to order through a kiosk. I do not work for McDonald's as a cashier nor do I want to be a cashier. I want to be a customer and to order from a cashier. I do not want to work for free, and it is so rude to refuse to serve customers. This is obviously a result of corporate cost cutting, but it creates such a negative experience for the customers who have been used to talking to the nice servers who enjoy having a job. On highway 395 there are three Mcdonald's Mojave, Lone Pine and Bishop. We have been to all three on our last trip to Mammoth Lakes. We have found that all three do not offer refills on their drinks, while charging high amounts for their drinks. Bishop McDonalds was the worst, as the service was slow, the trash was filled and their customer service was horrible. I would recommend Carls Jr. in Bishop. You cannot place an order in person at all three locations. read more
