This is the "poster child" of how NOT to run a fast food restaurant. It wasn't really busy, but the cashier would yell loudly to someone in the kitchen area. This happened over and over again. Wait time was longer than normal. And the men's room was a disaster. (See my photos). Had not been cleaned for a long time. McDonald's should have high standards for every location. The Lake Placid store needs a total do-over. read more

They give me 40 nuggets with 2 bbq sauce and 4 ketchup and when I ask for more they tell me that I have to pay for that are you crazy?

This is the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. They don't know the meaning of fast food. I ordered the new buttermilk chicken tenders. That was the 1st mistake. After paying for them I was told to park off to the side because they needed to be cooked. Well, 15 minutes later I drove around to the drive up window again. I saw a worker in the parking lot. She had my tenders. I asked to have her manager come out. She said" oh, the manager is sorry, come back tomorrow for a free meal" . Are you kidding me??? Screw this place. Don't go when busy. You won't be able to even get in the parking lot, if you do, you are going to wait forever. The cashiers take one order at a time even if the place is packed. Be ready to receive the wrong order or cold food. read more

Quality, consistency, value, are the three things Mr. Kroc preached above all else. I guess the Sebring store forgot them. On 04-03-15 at 8:33 a.m. we entered the store. As I am disabled, my wife normally gets the order while I find a table. O.K. First table had crumbs all over it. The next table had food scraps and maple syrup! The third table was the same. In was evident that there was not a clean table in the store. I chose a table and cleaned it myself. The floor was also sticky and most assuredly NOT clean. Either the staff is not cleaning enough, not cleaning properly, or using the wrong cleaning supplies. My wife returned to the table and said as she was giving her order, the staff member interrupted her to chat with the staff member next to her. This is rude and inattentive. As we travel all over this great country, I have been in some excellent McDonalds, some just good, but this the worst I have ever seen. This store would not have been open ten minutes if Mr. Kroc visited it. Very poor store. "Nasty" is the best word to describe it. I personally will never darken their door again. read more

Weekend morning manager is always outside on her phone or smoking - not a desirable image. Floor and tables filthy. Poor cashier has to take orders, take payment and give change, fill those orders, while the line is out the door and several employees stand around doing nothing. American flag is not being flown correctly. Have complained for two weeks and was told they're working on it. Finally asked them to take it down till pole is repaired. Managers answer was she is too busy. When asked if we could take it down, were told no as we didn't work there. Believe me, they don't want me to work there. The worst McDonald's restaurant I have ever been. This place is a disaster. The restaurant is not clean and there was food everywhere on the restaurant floor including kitchen area, corridors and under the tables. The employees did not know or want to deliver orders in time and had customers waiting for their orders more than 15 minutes. They did not even take new orders and had a few customers in line to place their orders and pay. Some of them left frustrated without buying. Unfortunately I wasn't one of them. The place was not that busy at all. I ordered a Big Mac meal and they could not get the fries with the sandwich all together. They left the prepared sandwich over a counter and forgot about it. It was the only eat in order they had at that time. After I told them that my sandwich was sitting, they went to make more fries. When they had the fries ready they had to make the sandwich again because of the time passed. They had no napkins or condiments available to the customers at the counters. I had to ask for a napkin to the only employee available. By the way, when they had an order ready, instead of calling it by the number, they read the list of items for the order in a very bizarre English, the waiting customers had no clue for whom was that order for. When I left I saw someone that looked as the manager smoking outside at the entrance, oblivious to the horror show that was going inside. The operation was so bad I understood it would be a total waste of time or energy to talk to her. read more
