It seems the location has several issues. It does not make me happy to post these comments but I can say being given "TO GO" food, getting to where your going and see this is horrid. The prices are not cheap, there are two fast foods and plenty of other to go places across from this location and in this plaza, you would think they would want to compete better. If McDonalds can be pretty consistant over a franchise sit down , locally owned thats sad. I know we wont be back and apparently this locatiins running others out too read more

As you can see in a previous post the difference between Sebring beef o Brady's wings which were terrible , and then these wings from beef o Brady's in lake placid which are the best wings in highlands county . They aren't slimy , they are cooked perfectly crisp. The meat is white the bone is clean . The meat isn't pink. The sauce was perfect. Who ever is in charge of the food at Beef o Brady's in lake placid knows what they are doing . The fryer oil is clean , and you can tell they actually care . Keep up the good work read more

I ordered take out I waited 15 minutes for cold food to come out of kitchen. Both me and my husband were immediately in distress after eating and I have had the runs all next day. I absolutely don't recommend for food if u need a place to sit and waste time this is your place. Not only did I place an order and wait patiently two hours for my food they didn't even give me it I got a cupon for my trouble. Their excuses are as simple ass the white rice is cooking two hours later no rice I didn't bash them maby a bad night. I went back with my cupon and received cold food after waiting an additional 35 minutes longer than expected for my food had to go back inside and ask them to microwave my meal I highly don't recommend just this location in Florida read more

Seen the staff three times. Once to take order, once to drop off food n drink and last to bring bill. Drink glasses were empty before half of our meal was done, couldn't even get a response when trying to flag them down for refills. Watched several customers walk to bar our track a worker down for drinks or condiments to complete a meal. Not much to say about this food. The times I've been there what I've ordered has been Wings (overcooked), Grilled Salmon (overcooked), rice (undercooked), chicken fajitas (overcooked). Buffalo Chicken wrap , Cuban Sandwich , Chicken Tenders (good size portion), Chicken Bowl (very tasty), Mashed Potatoes, Coleslaw , Fish Tacos . Stick to what you've had and know it's good, other wise you're going to be disappointed. The service isn't always the best. Ambiance is good if you're use to a bar type restaurant. I come here with my parents from time to time. The philly cheese steak is pretty good. The fajitas and tacos are passable. On my most recent visit I got a burger, build your own. I went during the kids special with me, my husband, and 3 sons. Our server Jayla was AMAZING, she was extremely attentive and kind. She really makes you feel like you've known her for years. As for the food, it was very good as well, but I could hear loud music and yelling coming from the kitchen. Placed an online order for 2 hamburgers. Order was expected to be ready @ 5:40 PM. I received my order @ 6:10 PM, 30 minutes after the original 20 minute wait time. 50 minutes for a COLD burger and Cold Potatoes! The restaurant was busy, but that is not an excuse for delivering a cold meal for a To Go order. The staff tries, but they need better training and more realistic wait times need to be given for online orders. Don't go here if you want a hot meal delivered in a timely manner. We went to Beef O'Brady's this past Saturday to see the new renovations. The restaurant looks great but the service however was lacking. We got our drinks & food then we're completely forgotten about. It took 3 people at the table to waive down a server to get an additional beer. You can make all the improvements to the restaurant that you want but if your wait staff ignores the patrons you will never be successful! read more

The food is not bad. Not always hot. The restaurant looks nice after the remodel. The service is still terrible, unless you happen to get one of the few good servers they have. Our last visit we sat for 10 minutes before the hostess asked if we had drinks coming. We said no one had talked to us yet. Then our server came to take our drink order and we said the hostess was getting them and she said ok and walked away. We had to flag her down to come and take our order. After the food came we didn't see our server again until she brought the check. We probably won't be going back. read more

My wife and I have eaten at Beef O'Brady's in Lake Placid probably four times. The first couple times the service and food was good. The last two visits found us leaving without being served in a reasonable time. On Jan 24, our drinks were served but after 45 mins we had not received our meal, nor did the server check to see if our drinks needed refilled. I paid for the drinks and we left. On Feb. 5, we waited 15 mins before a server showed up. After yet another 15 min, and no drinks we got up and left. I don't know if the establishment is under new management, or if the staff is not properly trained. None the less, it will be a very long time, if at all, before we visit that specific Beef O'Brady's. read more

I give credit where credit is due. Beefs has great advertising and photographers of their entrees. Big difference when the food hits the table. I ordered the their version of surf and turf. Steak and shrimp. The shrimp where good. The steak was a joke. I asked for medium rate, I got overly well done. Never saw the server to complain. Here it is folks. My boring chips and salsa, onion rings and club soda with lemon order was delivered with speed and accuracy by the hottest beef wait staff I've seen. Lol. Much appreciated. Went in today 4/25 at about 2pm. There were 4 people at the bar and 3 tables with 2 people at each table. My girlfriend and I seated ourselves after standing at the door for a minute or so waiting to be acknowledged. We sat at a table for 5 to 6 minutes, were never greeted, acknowledged or even looked at by the bartender and two waitresses. Got up and left to go to Dock 633. Will never go back. Pathetic. One star is a gift. Wish you could give zero stars. Hopefully they close down soon and someone who cares opens a restaurant there. Maybe the Smoke Shack could move in there. read more

Bad experience. I called in a carryout order of 18 mild wings with a side of honey BBQ sauce. The person who took my order was friendly and attentive and said the food would be ready in 15 minutes. When I arrived the staff was helpful and the order was ready on time. I neglected to check the order before leaving. I arrived home hungry and ready to chow down. The wings looked crispy... problem was there was no sauce. No mild sauce and no honey BBQ sauce. The wings were naked and there was nothing to dip them in. So I called the restaurant to explain the situation. They apologized and asked that I come back so they could correct the order. I brought the wings back for examination and they determined the wings didn't have the mild sauce. The server disappeared to resolve the issue. When she came back she showed me that they doused the original wings with mild sauce and put tons of extra sauce and the requested honey BBQ on the side. She apologized again and I told her thank you and that it wasn't a big deal. Sadly... when I got home 3.5 minutes later I realized that the once crispy wings had been drowned in sauce and then thrown into a microwave. It left the wings mediocre at best. Or so I thought... I had to stop eating after I tried them because the wings were all pink inside! Raw, microwaved chicken? No thanks! Instead of calling a 3rd time I just chunked the $18 dollar salmonella sticks into the trash. read more

If there was a zero star option they would have gotten it - about 16 of us sat down to drink and eat - drinks took forever - food was served to a third of us 20 minutes later some more food came out and another 20 minutes later the rest of the food came out - worst possible waitstaff - sit at the bar and have a drink that's about all the place is good for. My wife was commenting to the server that we never got the last round of drinks we ordered and missing some of the sides - the owner overheard the conversation and told my wife that she was no longer welcomed there! Service was incredibly SLOW. When we were there, I counted 11 people total in the restaurant, that include 5 people that were employed at this business. I asked " how many were in the back," the waitress said, " probably, 5,or 6". It took 15 min to get our drinks(Coke, and Sprite). We received the appetizer, it got cold, while we waited on silverware, and plates, waitress said that, "she had to wash them herself. Oh, I almost forgot, at first we ordered Onion rings for our appetizer, THEY WERE OUT OF ONION RINGS. This was our first trip ever to a Beef O'Brady's. While checking out some real estate, we ducked in just to get a quick lunch. (In other words, it was convenient.) I'm really glad we stopped. The server (Jena) was fun, attentive and provided terrific service. We got the 2 for $20 deal and that included an appetizer (buffalo wing dip) and 2 entrees. We both got the fish and chips. I saw the other review about a badly cooked & skimpy fish & chips portion, but our plates were loaded and everything was cooked just right. Very happy and will return. read more

We went to this location for a quick lunch and actually had a good meal. They had a great deal of a beer and burger. I personally had a sirloin and broccoli and it was good. Horrible experience. After having an issue with the Sebring location where we live, we decided to drive almost 30 minutes to the Lake Placid location instead. We walked into the restaurant and found no greeter or hostess and not a single employee in sight. After waiting nearly five minutes for an employee to appear, we were told we could sit wherever we wanted. The only empty table was dirty and we waited another five minutes for it to be cleared, and then waited even longer to be given menus and asked if we would like a beverage. In the close to almost ten minutes it took to receive our sodas, we watched two different patrons from other tables walk into the kitchen and deliver food to other tables. I was absolutely shocked. We hunted down our waitress, who had not even come back to take our order, and asked exactly what was going on with people going into the kitchen. We were told they were employees who weren't currently on the clock. I've been management in a food establishment for over ten years and I would never allow this to go on in my place of business. It is completely unprofessional. Having a person who is sitting at a table eating and drinking alcohol enter the kitchen in street clothes and handling paying customers food is unacceptable. I have a child with food allergies so this is something I take very seriously. The chance of cross contamination is already high on a normal basis, but when you add in people eating their own food and touching yours, its astronomical. I will not jeopardize my child's life by eating at an establishment that allows this to go on. Regardless of the allergies, I'm not comfortable with this going on with my own food either. We searched for the waitress again, who still had not even attempted to take our order, and told her this was unacceptable and we would not be eating there. As we were walking out I witnessed a child running into the kitchen area. I could not have been more appalled by the things I experienced in that place. We will not ever return to the Lake Placid location and want to inform others about the horrible service and inappropriate behavior of supposed staff members we encountered there. I've been going in here a couple times a week for some time. The food is OK, the portions above average and prices reasonable. A couple of the waitresses have been consistently cheerful and friendly - remembering my usual order and happy to ask me if that's what I want that night. But there are just as many who are surely as the devil. They are not happy there. I always get a meal that comes to around $15 and have been leaving a 20% tip. I have always paid with my credit/debit card. So, my bank statements have consistently shown around $18 or $20 charged a couple times a week. A few weeks ago, there was a charge one night of $45. I asked a couple of the waitresses if anybody had complained about being overcharged. They said, "No". I asked if it is possible that I paid somebody else's bill by mistake. They said it is not possible. The only other explanation I can think of is that the waitress added a "0" to the tip - $3 became $30. So, $15 meal + $30 tip = $45. I asked my bank if there was a record of how much the tip was on each charge. They said, "No". I have still been dining there, but now I leave a smaller tip (until the $27 owed me is made up) and now always ask for a paper receipt. The other night, I overheard the table next to me make a point of asking for a paper receipt. Who knows? read more

We have been coming here since they opened the doors. They were one of the few places that were open after 8pm on a Friday night which was very convenient since we travel from Miami. Sometimes service is slow especially when there are a lot of families there, but I have never had a bad meal or experience. They also change their menu a lot so there is always something new to choose from. Granted they are not excellent, but what can you expect in a small town like LP. read more
