Their new location is great! There is always live music usually 6 to 9 on weekdnds. They close a bit earlier than a usual bar. Ice cold bottle beer, great staff. The food is just ok. The pizza bites were greasy and must have been fried vs. Baked but the cheese dip was good.

This flag represents hate for the LGBTQ community disguised as humor. Don't ignore hate.

Unfortunately I noticed this anti-LGBT hate flag that was part of the new bar's decor after finishing my meal or I would have left. It ruined the whole experience for me. I asked the bartender for the owner who was not available. Although the bartender agreed with me that it was a hateful inappropriate flag others in the bar supported it saying it was funny and another stated that he doesn't speak to his daughter because she is a "f___ing fag". I later contacted the owner and offered to purchase a replacement flag that is friendly toward all people. I would hope that they would take this flag down and not foster hate toward that LGBTQ people but until that happens I would highly recommend you avoid this establishment, especially with children.

However, what was given to us was some branded plastic package of some cheese and cold cuts you can get from the refrigerated section in any grocery store and some gas station convenience stores. Like was said above, the staff was friendly and the drinks good. The epic failure of what should be a no-brainer of how not to serve food was an unfortunate distraction from the things that were well done.

Every day of the week they have a different separate drink menu for the specialties of that day. I love the Wednesday bourbon. The vibe inside is so amazing and Homie and it is pretty intimate though. So keep in mind if you have large parties like I went once with around six people it is hard for everyone to sit together. So I would definitely recommend coming on more weekday evenings when it's not as busy otherwise you will be having to wait in a line outside unfortunately. The capacity seems to be roughly around 30 people after talking with the bartenders. The bartenders are extremely knowledgeable. The off menu drinks that they could come up with ended up being some of my absolute favorites. I had the bartender at one point make me three surprise me drinks for whatever they felt like they could make. And every single one was so amazing I ended up passing it around to the rest of the group for everyone to try. Keep in mind, the drinks are probably a little bit more on the expensive side, but you are paying for more of the experience. It is also important to note that there is a five dollar cover fee that will last for a full week to enter the place, or you can buy an annual membership for $40. If you buy the annual membership, they do type out a membership library card for you and laminate so it feels very official and it's very cool to be able to have in your wallet. In the true vibe of speakeasy, this is a hidden gem.

Backstory- To know ones surprise the owner is Sheila and she's had the joint for about five years. The first surprise is they are open 2 PM-2AM seven days a week and Sheila works every hour! That's right; twelve hours a day, seven days a week. Yikes! The second surprise is that before she became a bar owner, she was a phycologist. That makes for some interesting conversations! Atmosphere- Come on folks it's a dive bar! Before this it was a fruit stand and before that it was a gas station. You're coming here for a cheap drink, good company and not the décor. It has a pool table, darts and a TouchTunes jukebox. BTW- The parking lot is big. Adult libations- Full bar of course. Not really a specialty draft place; just the common stuff. The same with the wines. This place is also a liquor store or sometimes called a bottle shop. That means you can bring a bottle home! So when it's 95 outside, stop in where it's dark and cool and have a pop or two and some stimulating conversation with an interesting lady!

During happy hour drinks are $6 or $8 for classics or revival favorites. The drinks here are top notch and the atmosphere is iconic. And did I mention, this is in Lakeland Florida. This bar could be transported to Miami, Orlando or Ft Lauderdale and would be Uber popular. The service is awesome and the bartenders here are well trained because they make the drinks effortlessly. Love the overall vibe here. Makes me want to move closer because who doesnt want a happy hour from 1-7pm on the weekdays. The drinks here can paint a smile on anyone. So very good! It feels like a speakeasy inside, but it's not quite as mysterious as most are. You enter in the front door after checking with the bouncer outside. The drinks here are gourmet, there's no other way to say it. They have an extensive and unique list of options, but they can also make pretty much anything you ask for. The last time I was there I had a lavender blueberry moscow mule, of which I had asked the bartender if I could have a flavored mule and that was his suggestion. There's a decent amount of seating here but the place gets pretty busy. The one thing I can knock them in is they have really slow service. The bartenders work so hard on each drink that even if there's a few dozen people there it takes time to order and then get your drink. So that's just something to be aware of but I promise it's so worth the wait. Absolutely love this place!

Which is the first time I have ever had this issue with an outdoor restaurant. So I ordered my food to go. Before ordering, I was told it would take about 30-35 minutes. It actually took, 65 minutes to get my BLT and my father's Big Al Chicken Hogie. The BLT was fantastic. Ranks in the top five ever. Super thick bacon, quality, lettuce, and tomato....nice bread. Highly recommended. My father sandwich was another story. It was like an alien trying to impersonate a cook, made it. Like whoever designed this sandwich had never actually seen or eaten one in their whole life. When you order a chicken Philly style sandwich, you just expect things to be a certain way. This awful sandwich was covered in raw, uncooked mushrooms and huge chunks of beef steak tomato. Looks like they took a huge tomato , cut it into 6 chunks and called it done. There was no mayo, bbq, or any form of condiment. Since we ordered it to go, we didn't know it was so bad until we got back to our hotel. If I had not had the BLT, there would be zero reason to return here. The BLT and friendly staff are the reason they get 3 stars instead of 1.
