Arrived around 6pm. Me and my wife decide to sit on the porch. After 25 mins of waiting we decided to go sit inside and hopefully get some service! We sat in the back corner by the Bud light sign in a booth. After about 10 mins the bus boy ask if anyone had taken our drink order, we said no. The server finally comes over and takes our drink order. I'm sorry but the server looked like a meth head! We get our drinks and wait another 20-30 mins for her to come take our food order, never came back but we did see her bs-ing around the shooting the shite. So we decide to leave after be there over an hour and only receiving sodas!! The place is run down and disgusting!!! And it looked like there was underage kids inside drinking alcohol, but I can't be sure of that. Joint definitely needs a make over or needs to be condemned. We haven't been here in a while, as they were like a lot of places and were having issues getting wings during the big chicken wing shortage! Today we stopped in for a burger with homemade pub chips, and a cold draft beer. They have always had a great burger and they still do. We ordered the homemade onion rings..freshly made, hot and crunchy. This is a real deal Mom/Pop operation that gives you your money worth. A group of us went there. Four of us ordered beer. The waitress brought out the wrong brand for two individuals. All of us ordered chicken wings but I never received my order. The spoke to the waitress three times and reminded her that she failed to bring out my order. After one hour the others in my party were finished and I gave up and left. Not a fan of this spot. Hole in the wall and not in a good way. The place smelled weird. The menus were worn down with marker to cover up old selections. The ceiling had holes in it with insulation falling down. The tables uneven and worn. I can see this being a locals favorite because they know where to venture or maybe what is safe to eat. The food was decent but we were very scared to eat and then have a bad reaction after. We ordered some food but was told to order something different because "it smells bad" Met some friends there thinking it was the chain... it's not. Won't be back. read more

Two Stars for the dried out Chicken Tenders... they were like shoe leather. The Honey Mustard had NO honey flavor or mustard flavor. It was like light yellow colored mayonnaise. Perhaps off the beaten path if you aren't familiar with Okeechobee, but worth searching for. I've had better gator-tail (this one was more chewy than I've had) but was still good and a hearty portion. The buffalo shrimp are very very good, large, just the right breading, tasty hot-sauce, the ranch dip taste like homemade - really great! The salad was lack-luster, but who goes to a sports bar for salad anyway.. Good place. read more

Absolute worst experience ever at a restaurant. Server was rude and unfriendly. No refills and food took 90 minutes to be served. After wait I received ice cold wings that I am 100% sure were from the day before. When I complained I was told the cook was being fired and he cooks all the wings and let's them sit above the fryers in their baskets until they are ordered. If this is so then why did it take 90 minutes to get my food? Bill came out to nearly $70 for 5 people. $20 was given back for the complaint. Absolute horrid staff and nasty building. They even have a stray cat that will come around and beg you for your food while you are sitting at your table. This place is most definitely a health hazard. I would not recommend ever going. First, I want to apologize for loving an off-the-beaten-path dive bar that serves excellent dive bar food at a reasonable price. The decor is mid-fifties sports bar chic (lol) but no one goes to a bar like this for its looks! You go for great food, and if you choose wisely, that's exactly what you get. I highly recommend the burgers, potato chips, wings, and chicken Parmesan lunch special. They are all at the top of my "bar food" list!!! Service can be a bit slow around lunch and late dinner times, but the food makes it worth the wait. Waitresses are hit or miss in terms of friendliness and service, like in most little places. The owners are quick to respond to complaints and have never been rude or nasty when we have concerns. I eat there often, even though we have many other good restaurant choices here in Okeechobee. Let's be real for a second, it's a sleazy bar atmosphere, you know the kind from the 80's movies where over the hill 9 to 5-ers call in sick to sit and drink all afternoon, nowhere close to the everybody knows your name kind of friendly service, the food's great for a take-out but lately the list of "we're out of that right now" has been growing, more recently blue cheese dressing for my wings, probably one of the few things I'd be accused of being liberal about, I always order a bigger cup of it cause the little ones don't hang in there for the entire performance, when ordering that's what I requested with the typical "sure no problem hun" response, on pick up the small ones and when I asked about the larger cup some guy who reminds me of some guy from The Sopranos pipes up with "we don't have enough ya' know". Now this is literally an item you can get from your food vendor by the 5-gallon pale and keeps in the walk-in cooler for months, an item they rightly charge extra for... the little things that used to make an otherwise "nah" kind of place attractive... but hey at least they had the wings this time... the list could go on for improvement but I've said enough! read more
