Ordered on mobile app! Pulled in parking lot space two, went to the app put in my number, and it just spun and spun and spun. I went in & asked for my order, and the woman went to hand it to me, and I tasted a fry and it was ice cold. I stated it was ice cold. She grabbed the bag out of my hand, threw it in the trash and instructed the staff to make the order again. All she had to do is replace the fries ! So now its going on a half an hour to forty five minutes that I am waiting for our food through the mobile app Seriously this was ridiculous amount of time to wait and the woman that grabbed my food was very rude. To the owner or manager. Yesterday I ordered online and went to lane 2 for pick up. Lane 1 and 2 were busy but about the same amount of cars. As were waiting in lane 2 we noticed lane 1 was going quicker and we started to count the cars and it was a lot. Lane one moved 10-15 cars while we were stalled in lane 2. I was behind the car at the speaker for 5 minutes and then I started to yell at the driver to ask what's going on and she said she was waiting. I guess when I raised my voice someone inside heard and took her order. When I made it to the window and made my complaint the employee was aware of the lane 2 problem and the manager also knew and refused to put a cone or other remedies. We stopped in today for some lunch and were very pleasantly surprised! The restaurant was clean, the food was tasty and not greasy. The best thing about our visit was the gentleman working "front of house" in the restaurant. He warmly greeted every guest that entered the restaurant, and he wished customers a nice day as they left. He assisted guests at the cash register as well as on the kiosk. I so not think this particular McDonalds deserves the 1 1/2 star reputation it has on Yelp. Sure, it's a McDonald's, but it's also light years better than the urban locations I have been to in nearby Sacramento. They serve the same predictable product as elsewhere, but the service is a step better and they do keep the place relatively clean. I never want to spend time hanging out at McDonalds anyway, so I usually order to go and get. There's also something to the fact that they have never messed up an order, which is commonplace at any other location. The food comes out hot, especially the fries. Oh man this place is foul. I stopped by just to use the restroom. It was so gross. No mirrors. No paper towels. Just filthy. Trash, feces and hair everywhere. Like how long does it take for that much hair to accumulate? Looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. I went up front to ask for the manager. Matt came out. I had to ask for his name because he didn't introduce himself. As I waited I saw so much food and trash on the floor behind the registers and in the kitchen. I explained that the bathrooms were unacceptable and disgusting.. but also.. the manager was disgusting as well. Once he was in front of me..I was appalled. Filthy shirt covered in food that looked like he'd worn it days on end and not even a resemblance of an attempt at personal hygiene. Spit literally leaking from the corners of his mouth and leaking down his face in a froth. Greasy hair and I could smell him across the counter. He didn't look sober. Eyes were wild. I mentioned the bathrooms as the reason I was speaking to him but then also pointed out what I'd seen in the kitchen as I waited for him.. the trash..food and raw meat on the floor that the rest of the staff was just walking past the whole time I waited. There was trash and raw food and fries everywhere in the kitchen and staff walking on it while making orders. How clean can your food be if they're walking on raw meat and fries and garbage and not looking twice? How clean are the hands touching it before they serve you if they can't even keep themselves clean? He seemed so shocked that I even had an issue and unconcerned that I told him to look for my yelp review. Just kept saying ok.. ok.. ok.. Glad I don't eat there. Neither should you. Find a real manager. You know.. someone who makes sure the bathrooms and food prep areas are clean. The Drive Thru generally does a good job! We never go inside anymore, although they're nice the usual counter order person can't seem to get our order right on the first second or third time and don't even try giving them an app code because they'll call the manager every time. Today we went through used the app with a code for Buy One QPC get another for .29. The restaurant DID NOT honor the Deal despite it being shown on the screen at the speaker and them having some issue with using ATM cards. We got to the window and they charged us full price. The staff DID NOTHING to fix the error. They said they couldn't do anything about it. They did say have a nice day though. Emailed the customer service line and they are useless. By far the slowest McDonald's drive through IN THE WORLD.!! Last night was the tipping point. Showed up at 830pm was going to hit the drive through and saw 8 cars in it with only one lane operating. My wife suggested we go inside as it would be quicker, as she has done before at this particularly slow burger joint.
