I write with praise and an observation about how new technology rolls out. I had a good experience with the app at this location. Here is the background. I don't eat fast food that much. I also avoid meat on doctor's orders. But I run marathons and other races. I then stop at a McDonald's for a double fish sandwich. That reminds me of childhood. I wish they still made those fried apple pies. I've been using the smartphone app since it came out. But it has been hit and miss. I'd estimate a quarter of the franchises don't have the order ready. There is a delay and confusion. Here, they had my name and I went through lickety-split. I believe what has happened is better training. The computer program is perfect. The failure is on the human side. It is what they call PEBKAC. With more folks using the app, the staff likely have improved in the workflow. read more

Two establishments I'll never eat at again are Burger King and McDonald's because Burger King can't get their fucking number system correct and McDonald's you sit in the parking lot till you get your fucking food . Seems as though both establishments have to seriously consider retraining their associates in efficiency and fastness of ordering and delivery of their food. Service is clearly lacking in these establishments as well. This place absolutely sucks. Biggest bunch of idiots and lazy eff's I've ever seen. Horrible customer service and they're incapable of getting an order correct. Ordered 4 sausage and cheese sandwiches, 2 with egg and 2 without, and a large coke. Not very complicated, should've been about 8 bucks. Had to repeat my order at the speaker at least twice, then repeat it several more times at the window. They still got it wrong. When told me total is just under $13, I ask them "please confirm that. That sounds too high. It's not right." He tells me that he did confirm it and that the prices probably just went up. I said "okay, no problem. Please give me a receipt." and paid. 5 mins later, they hand me my food, no soda, and a McFrappe. I said "I didn't order this." and they act like it was for the car behind me, pull it back in and make me a soda. I'd also like to note that the sandwiches all had no egg.. so my coworker just jipped the egg that he paid for. After quickly checking the bag, there's no receipt. Fancy that. I ask again for a receipt. He says he's got a whole giant pile of them and needs a minute to find it.. please pull up. So I do. After about 15 mins of sitting there, I walk back up to the window (every door is locked) and stand next to a car that's paying and yell "are you ever going to give me my receipt? I'm not going to just go away." He says he has to serve every single other car first, I said absolutely not and stand in front of the next car and say "give me my mother-f***** receipt." He shows me a pile he clearly hadn't tried to look through and acts like he's swamped. I said give me the pile, I'll find it. Imagine that, it was the 4th from the bottom, the exact number of cars he served after me. That was tough! Oh yeah, I paid for the frappe. I will not be letting this go. Don't care about the money, but I tried to confirm and they lied straight to my face, still screwed up, and were extremely rude. I'll never go back. I agree with the person who said this is consistently the most unorganized McDonald's. We came through the drive-through and ordered a Shamrock shake with chocolate; half and half. The response was, "we don't do that, man." Really, you don't understand what half and half is? Worse, when we got to the window, we got one of each shake: a chocolate and a Shamrock, which I ended up mixing at home myself (see pictures). Generally friendly. Cashier today was not good. Every time I come here for a latte, it's a crap shoot. Will they hear me through the box? Why is it so hard to get a latte PLAIN, NO SUGAR??? I can go to Starbucks across the street and pay a lot more, where they are super friendly and get my order right EVERY TIME. I tip them most times, bec. they deserve it. Average place - found it to have less seating than some of the other locations. There were self-ordering stations and there were number markers which then you place on your table. The number will be called out after the food is ready. Just had fries and hot tea which we usually get on these stopovers. Tea was horrible, and the fries were average. This is consistently the slowest and most disorganized McDonalds in the area. I had to give my order three times at the drive through. When I proceeded I was told to hold on because she didn't get my order. I ordered again. At the pay window I had to order again. It takes way to long in the middle of the night for this to be a quick stop. I'm not sure if it is different during the day. read more

I ordered a large nugget meal. It's bad enough that there are no large sweet tea cups. I had to pay a large price for medium size. Worth noting- this review is specifically for the drive thru, based on multiple experiences (although the most recent was today). No matter the time of day, length of line, whatever- always slow as molasses! They use a two-lane drive thru, and I think this is supposed to make things more efficient, but it doesn't. All I wanted was a salad, and it took me twenty minutes to get it. Today, when I approached the window to pay, the cashier admitted that he had accidentally double-charged the woman in front of me, so I didn't have to pay for my order. He didn't seem concerned at all for his mistake, tried to laugh off the fact that I was getting a "free meal," and confirmed my order of "two cheeseburgers" (WRONG, it was a salad). Maybe going inside is better, but Burger King is right next door and will be getting my business next time. read more

This is the slowest McDonalds in the area, and it's not even close. Employees work with no sense of urgency even during rush time. Many people who work in the area stop in for breakfast. If you're planning to do that, make sure you have at least 20 minutes to spare. read more

This is the only McDonald's in Baltimore that does not give me the McShittle's. I honestly don't get why this location has such bad reviews, must be all of the "uppity" clientele in the area. I have never had an issue with my order here, food is pretty consistent, staff is very nice. There are a lot of businesses and office building near this location so prepare for a wait during lunch and breakfast hours, but other than that they are pretty quick and consistent. read more

If I could give this McDonald's a zero rating I would. Horrible experience tonight. Ordered 3 of the 10 piece chicken mcnugget meals, 2 cheeseburgers and an apple pie. Parked my car to check the bag and found one of the 10 piece nuggets was missing as well as the receipt. So I walked in the empty restaurant and asked for receipt and nuggets. I got everything and went home. When I got home I discovered that they had given me really old and cold nuggets for all meals and only got 9 nugets in one. Then, I looked at the Apple pie to find that they had given me an expired apple pie. The whole meal was cold and deserved a zero rating. I called the manager, Johnny Gonzalez, that was listed on the receipt. The person who answered did not speak English well and finally put me on hold to find the manager. Johnny Gonzalez finally got on the phone and explained my disappointing experience. He made excuses, saying they were really busy and even said that the people working there don't know what they are putting in the bags, which shocked me. He was extremely unapologetic and couldn't have cared less about everything I told him. I told him it sounds like a new manager is needed in there to manage the employees and restaurant. I also said I would be calling corporate. Then he said well I can do something for you. But, it was obvious that was just to shut me up. Once inside, my friends and I instantly pointed out how clean it was, there was a man cleaning the trays too. Then, we were greeted by a cashier with just the most bubbly, courteous personality. So my buddies and I decided to drive up to Baltimore for the baseball game. My friend picked me up first at 11:35am. Started driving down and it took about 3 hours and 16 mins, even though I recommended the 3 hour and 51 mins. On the weather it said there was more than half percent chance that it would rain, even though it did not rain throughout the whole trip. We arrived at Baltimore and we were extremely hungry. My buddy and I had shake shack while my other 3 friends decided to have lobster rolls instead. After eating lunch, we decided to go to the inner harbor, but not to be confused with Pearl Harbor in Boston. When arriving, we had to beg people to take a picture of me and the bros. After many unsuccessful attempts, we encountered one couple who were extremely helpful and decided to help us out. They put down their joint and took quality pictures. After that we started to walk down to Camden yards, and got past security. Once past, we realized we get free Bobbleheads. SCORE! Game was pretty cool, we were up at one point, but lost 12-3. We heckled a lot of the Ray's players, but at the end decided that we want to take a picture with one of the benched players. He ended up being a simp and only took pictures with woman. But hey, if I was making that much money I would prolly do the same. Anyway, after leaving the stadium we had to stop for gas and had to use the restroom. I really had to go, but someone was in the men's restroom. Since it was 11:33 at night, I didn't think there would be anyone there, so I decided to walk into the woman's room, which was cleaner than expected. As I walked out I realized that another woman was waiting to use the restroom, which made it extremely awkward for me, making me run out of the gas station. Leaving the station, we were hungry once again and decided to stop at McDonald's. First thing we noticed pulling in was a homeless man just chilling on the curb. Any who, pulling forward a woman was peeking through our window and was "checking up" on us. She was cute, but I didn't wanna flirt, thinking she must have had a boyfriend. After this, a black Toyota Hylander decided to cut us off in line, was was bad mouthing us, claiming we were in the wrong, like okay bitch. Once we pulled through the drive thru window, it started going downhill. There was absolutely no kosher options. After ordering off a very limited menu, we pulled up to the window. After being on a tight budget, I decided to pay half cash and half card, and I heard the employee calling me a "broke bitch". She rushed me to keep the line moving once handing me my food and did not want anything to do with me anymore. Once going through the bag, I realized there were a few things missing. Would definitely not recommend the service to anyone. But fuck it the food was good. Currently my friend is driving back who is extremely tired. read more

Horrible location to put in a double drive through since it's too tight and cars get caught in a bunch so the speaker can't be used. I ordered fresh fries and after being in a jam there I was handed a bag that had been sitting and when I questioned if they were fresh and hot some woman with a big mouth yelled through the store that she just put them in the bag-what a way to treat customers and screaming like she was raised in a barn! I never thought I would write a review for McDonalds. But, this place deserves a little love. 1) It's friendly. The cashier greeted me as I walked in and towards the restroom before ordering. After returning to the counter, the guy was actually nice and made ordering a "normal" experience and not as if I was inconveniencing him like other Baltimore joints. 2) The food was hot and fresh. 3) The place was clean.. there was a guy who was continually cleaning while I was there. Worst service ever. A ton of employees are walking around on cell phones while one cashier works the front. They did open a second line, for an employee. She was served quickly while the rest of the customers waited. It was amazingly awful. They shut the line down when the employee was served. We tried to sit at a booth but it was filthy.
