Ok. Long overdue shoutout to this Five guys location. My family and I have been eating here for nearly 10 years and have gotten takeout more times than I'm comfortable reporting on this platform. Though personnel and management seems to shift, the food orders have virtually always been perfect, it's always been great and we've never been disappointed. Great job. We went to a different location this time and I was impressed with the friendly staff and the quick service. I was a bit confused about their prices and the young man ((Devon-hopefully I spelled it right) took the time to explain the difference between them too me. He was extremely patient and friendly. 5/5. The inside seating area was clean, but I didn't stay since we were getting ours to go. I'd give the cleanliness of location 4/5 Parking is somewhat tricky if that part of the strip mall is busy. They do have handicap parking! Kudos 4/5. I am reviewing and writing this location in comparison to other five guys locations. In general I love five guys and would recommend it over most other fast food hamburgers in the area. Five guys is a five star burger joint in general. This location is located in a small strip of shops in a busy part of York Road. It's actually a little difficult to find if you don't know the area that well. It's easy to miss the entrance to the parking lot or to turn in to early at the previous intersection. Update; In terms of service it's a little bit slow AT TIMES. Despite having friendly staff, and seemingly decent numbers of staff, during peak hours you MAY be waiting quite a while for your order. My advice is to order ahead for specific pick up time and show up a bit early to ask them the status of your order. Most the staff seem to be pretty efficient, but I will note that there were a couple of staff members who seemed to be in training one night that I went. Perhaps this was slowing them down as a team a little bit more than usual as they're usually faster. In terms of the product, this team does an excellent job producing high-quality product. No soggy fries and no sloppy burgers. Everything came out correctly and prepared as requested, and were neatly assembled and wrapped. The actual physical location is pretty spacious and has plenty of seating. The customers were not all wearing masks but all the staff were despite being in the county and not having a mask mandate. Obviously people who are eating we're not wearing masks, but even some people who are simply waiting in line wear a mask less. I simply point this out in case you are trying to avoid areas where people are not wearing masks. Overall I am upgrading this location to a five star rating as they are more efficient on recent visits. read more

We come in once every week or 2, we tip, we're always nice and respectful. The crew wasn't even that busy tonight. There was one customer ahead of me, then halfway through my food being made, a different customer came in. With one dine in table that was already eating their meals. And 3 crew members, which seems to be the norm, even on busier days. As a matter of fact, a 4th employee was just leaving for the night as I walked in, too. So there's really no excuse. We always ask for the fries to just be cooked a little extra longer to make them crispy. So when I ordered from the girl at the register, I requested them to be extra crisper than normal. I noticed she didn't relay the message to the tall guy who was cooking, and that seemed to be in charge, nor was it noted on the register or my receipt. So when the tall guy handed the food off to the customer ahead of me, I reminded and asked again. The guy was seemingly annoyed and answered me in a mocking tone that "they got me." Yeah, they got me alright. Not only were the fries not extra crispy, some were half cooked and half raw still. Honestly, it wouldn't have been that big of a problem cause we could pop em back in the oven, but they were way over salted. Sometimes, you come across a fry that's under cooked or over salted, but this entire batch was this way. Is it ignorance? Incompetence? Or just laziness? I'm gonna guess all 3. It doesn't even take extra effort to just leave them in an extra few minutes. But to undercook and over salt is just messed up. So tonight is our last time giving this spot our repeat business. There's another Five Guys Burgers that's 4 miles down York Rd with free and easy parking that is heading towards Towson with much better reviews. Tame the extra few minutes and go there instead. Wow, I know inflation and all, and I knew five guys was expensive, but now the pricing range for burger and fries is 13.5 for single hamburger with little fries to 18.5 for bacon double cheeseburger....this is without any drinks mind you....burgers are effectively non-frozen burger patties cooked at relatively fast food pace... effectively if your cafeteria was serving non-frozen burgers.... When we are looking at about $20 for burger fries and a drink, you begin to wonder what exactly you are getting for it. This is pretty much at a solid sit down prices or double chipotle entree pricing. Stopped in for lunch about 12:30pm today. There was only 2 employees in the store. The gentleman was working the register, taking orders, cooking on the grill and completing people's orders. He was working with a women who was completing the toppings, french fries etc. They were very busy and moving quickly to get orders completed. He was very professional, friendly and helpful throughout, never complaining or ignoring customers. I have not witnessed this kind of service in a fast food restaurant in quite sometime. This review is for the 5 guys at 10015 York Rd in Cockeysville, MD. The worst ordering online/fast food experience I have ever had. I wish I could give it less than one star as we never received our food. We have eaten there in the past and the food used to be good and at one time the service was friendly. However, this time we ordered online and after waiting an hour for our food, I gave up. This is after asking several times if my order was almost ready and every time they would gesture to burgers on the prep table and say those are yours right there. I even asked if they had my order, thinking that I might have ordered it at the wrong location. But no, they assured my they had my order and were working on it. At one point I became thirsty so I walked to the 7-11 in the next shopping center to get a soda. When I got back from 7-11 a woman who had also ordered online about 25 minutes after I did, had gotten her order was leaving (I know when she ordered because we had talked while we waited). People who had came in and ordered in the store after I had arrived to pick up my online order, received their orders before I did ( we only ordered three burgers and one order of fries.) After waiting an hour I asked for a refund, because when I asked about our food, they still gestured to the prep table and said those are your burgers being made (See attached photo for receipt/refund times) I realized then we were not going to get food from there though I did not understand the reason. My wife and daughter suggested it was because I was wearing a US ARMY ball cap and jacket with a ARMY logo(See attached photo). It makes sense as we were the only ones who did not appear to get their food, and when I asked for a refund no employee said so much as a, "sorry about that," and the employee who gave me my refund appeared to keep giving me disapproving/dirty looks. While I was there I noticed several people receiving incorrect orders and her acting as if it were their fault she forgot. SMH. The ketchup dispenser was empty I only mention this because an employee tried to get ketchup and couldn't. That was priceless because even after no one attempted to refill the dispenser. For a Five Guys, this was a pretty standard location. Everything was impeccably clean, but it was barely an hour after opening that we came. I placed my order online about a half hour in advance since I was coming on Father's Day and was anticipating a lot of dads wanting burgers so I figured I'd skip the line. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised to find that there were only two other sets of customers there and several employees. I went to the pick up spot and told them my name (I arrived about a minute after my food was supposed to be ready). They said okay so I just assumed that it'd be out shortly. After about five minutes, one of the employees came and brought me the cup for the soda I had purchased with my order. More time passes and my food is finally ready, totaling 45 minutes after I had put it into their system, 15 after it was supposed to be ready. Normally, a 15 minute wait wouldn't perturb me but there were practically no customers and I had ordered ahead so I was slightly annoyed. Plus there was no communication from the employees like "it'll be a few minutes!" or anything of the sort. When it is eventually ready, everything was made perfectly. Honestly, it was probably the best burger I've gotten from a Five Guys. My girlfriend said the same of hers. We were highly impressed. Before leaving, I had to run to the bathroom really quick and I'm glad I did for the sake of this review. If you're claustrophobic, you better hope the handicap stall is available because the design of that bathroom is atrocious. It's poorly lit which doesn't help. Upon finding the larger stall was recently used in a not so pleasing fashion, I opted for the significantly smaller stall. It's designed so that when you sit, the toilet paper dispenser becomes one with your left thigh. When you try to exit, you have to shimmy between the door and the wall. It just felt really gross and definitely put a damper on an otherwise clean feeling trip to Five Guys. Hopefully it was just an off day for them service-wise or they just hadn't clicked into customer gear yet after opening. I'll probably be back next time I'm in town! read more

I liked this branch more than the Gittings Ave branch. The service was fast and the bathrooms were clean. The drink fountain was a hit among my kids. I tried the BLT (for a Change) and it was good. Went to Five Guys for my lunch break not to mention my call in order was placed at 2:16pm arrived for Pick up 2:26pm waited for my order to be complete and handed to me at 2:42pm. Now after that I'm happy received my food just to get back to work and finish off my day. As i opened my order my Burger is completely incorrect down to the condiments the kicker was my BACON is not on my sandwich and if you love food or should i say Burgers you should know a Burger is not at its best with no BACON. After i was charged for Bacon Cheese Burger i came back to work called this location put on hold then Hung up on. Called back three times went to voicemail, Finally someone answers tell the Associate my situation and all i got in return was an OK. Never had any issues with this specific location until now.
