We came in around 8:15pm there were two lines and they didn't move for 40 mins. The order speaker was broken they didn't take my order. Then 2 lines merged into one. Cars left because line was so long but I had 4 kids in car. Finally got to window the clerk was inexperienced and didn't know I couldn't order from speaker so I asked her to take my order. It was nearly $50 I was a bit surprised and made a comment this is the most expensive Macdonald order I paid. Then it was Chaotic in line and food is not ready. That's when i realized she charged me for the 2 waters almost $7! By now it's an hour since I started waiting and I went back to the window to get a refund and she told me it should have been clear. That's when I got more irritated this is MacDonalds! They offer dollar menu for low price food, why would they charge customers $3.5 for water? I was always offered free water and I didn't even know they sell bottle water in Macdonald!! Then I have been there over an hour, we waited longer, they didn't do what we asked. By then I was just so frustrated I drove off. I have never had such bad experiences with a Macdonald. I would not go back but want to warn others. I went to this McDonald's and ordered food, and I took a bite, and nearly choked on a fingernail. I went in and took the fingernail and the ticket to speak with a manager and what she proceeded to do was parade employees in front of me showing me their fingernails. She only brought two out of the entire employees out in front of customers to show me their fingernails. There was never an apology issued . Prior to that I ordered two separate orders : burgers and french fries. For the order of french fries it took 20 minutes to get them . The staff behind the counter, got one lady's order wrong four times and then the manager snapped and said rude things when she walked away . This was the same manager that proceeded to parade, her employees in front of customers saying that I didn't almost swallow and choke on a fingernail. Back again here. This always seems to be our Boston area Golden Arches. Very few employees yesterday. My guess is the staff shortages elsewhere, are also occurring at this fast food restaurant. It took considerable time to get our food. On a plus note the employees working were kind, and this is one of the cleanest in the area. This one's new renovations make it comfortable. You can order from the annoying touch screens, which I absolutely do not like, or go the traditional route. Food came out piping hot. Went through drive through today around 1 pm. Ordered a 6pc happy meal, large 2 cheeseburger meal with large frappe and a large deluxe quarter pounder with cheese meal and 2 packs of cookies. We pulled up paid and pulled up to the next window. When I received the meal the fries were cold. Only one pack of cookies and the large deluxe quarter pounder meal was rang in as a med bacon quarter pounder. I probably wouldn't have got on to complain but the quality that the sandwich was put together with was poor. There was 2 tiny pieces of bacon with a couple onions and a mess of ketchup all over it... I called to to complain and explain a similar thing happened a few weeks ago and they took my number and said that there was a sandwich for me the next time I came in since they forgot one. They offered me the same deal today and when I said there was a sandwich for me already they informed me that there wasn't anything noted. At that point I hung up the phone. Not that they would care to read this because they're that type of people, but I just had terrible service at their drive through. It's not so much the quality of the foid, but how it was given. So, I order the chicken mcnuggets and a smoothie through the speaker and pull up to the first window. The first girl asks me if I ordered a Happy meal. I told her no. She then goes away from the window and takes more than a few minutes to get back. The meal was 7.86 dollars. I gave her 10.86 dollars because I needed the bills. She looks at it and asks me if I needed a receipt. I said no and she hands me back 10 cents. Before I realized that she short changed me I have already pulled forward. When I got my bag at the next window, I told them I was short changed. That person just stood there like she didn't understood. I repeated again and was met with the same deadpan stare. I finally parked my car and grabbed the first cashier to notify my situation. After a few minutes, he comes back with a dollar and 10 cents. I had had enough and left. That was around 1 or 2'ish. I am still miffed and shocked by today's occurrence. I will be filing a complaint directly to the manager at some point tomorrow. If anyone goes to this particular McDonald's, be aware that these kids will short change you if you are not paying attention.
