I've never reviewed McDonald's before, but this one in Glendale is connected to my Kaiser medical office and it is immensely huge! The parking structure kind of sucks but I noticed a bunch of business workers and students actually working and there's the most amount of community tables in separate tables for you to be able to sit and work here! Mainly why I'm reviewing is because it's a huge, the biggest McDonald's I've ever seen!

I was passing by this McDonald's and decided to grab a quick snack so I got an M&M McFlurry through the app. The staff were really friendly and nice, which I appreciated. But, to be honest, they could have added more M&Ms there were just a few on top and bottom, and it felt a bit skimpy. Maybe the person was new or just having an off day, so I didn't say anything since I was in a rush. Overall, though, it was a decent experience it was fast, convenient and just a bit of a letdown on the toppings this time.

I normally don't post things like this, but I feel it's important to share my experience regarding customer service at this McDonald's. Unfortunately, I've had repeated negative experiences with the management team at this location, particularly with Claudia and Aileen. On multiple occasions, they have handled customer concerns in a very unprofessional manner -- showing frustration, raising their voices, and even responding rudely when orders were incorrect or incomplete. Instead of resolving situations calmly, they often escalate them, and go off on you in Spanish curse you out, which creates a very uncomfortable environment for customers. As managers, I believe patience, professionalism, and communication are key, but unfortunately, these qualities seem to be lacking here. This has not been a one-time occurrence, but a repeated pattern of behavior that many customers have experienced. McDonald's is known for its service and consistency, so I truly hope upper management takes this feedback seriously and provides the necessary training and support to improve the customer experience at this location.

Mirror mirror on the wall, whose the fanciest of all? Bring them fancy pants right here. This by far is the fanciest McDs I've ever seen. Lots of fancy seating. It also has the craziest drive thru that circles thru the parking garage. Not the easiest drive thru to navigate. There are a few kiosks to order from. In my opinion are hard to navigate. There are also a couple of cashiers. The menu is digital which I don't like because the screen keeps changing. There is no playground here. The icrecream machine was down. Happy meal toys and cups were sold out. 3.5. It's McDs.

This McDonalds location was clean. No trash on the floor, seats were clean. I placed an online order by the time I got there my order was ready. Unlike other McDonald's locations, my order was placed on the counter. In the other locations, I usually need to ask 3 people or more, if my order is ready. This was not a case for this location which is the reason they got another star from me. Overall, great and fast process. My drink tasted really good, not too sweet which was great.

Terrible experience at this McDonald's. The parking attendants (Oscar and Carlos) were extremely rude and even threatened to tow my car, despite me explaining that I was going inside to eat and could show them my receipt. They argued over the parking time limit -- 15 minutes, 30 minutes, while the sign clearly says 1 hour. The manager(Mika) wasn't helpful either. My family and I used to come here often for breakfast and lunch, but after this, I will never return. Completely disappointed.

Found a hair in my french fries. Also found a sharp object like bone or plastic inside McNugget. I almost choked on it.

Inside, and at the tables out front, people everywhere and a staff moving a lightspeed. On the bright side, the staff who run the sign-in sheet are very good at estimating your wait time. A party of two will usually get seated quicker than larger parties. And wait time will depend if you will take first available or if you prefer indoors or outside. Also of note, in addition, it appears they have tables inside the building right across the alley as well. So you might not be seated inside the main building...they are a busy place. If you haven't been before, I suggest you visit the website and read through the menus. If you go, like us, around noon, you'll get two multi-page menus - one with breakfast items and one for lunch. There's a lot to choose from, including pastries. They have about seven free parking spots directly behind the restaurant but behind that is a very large public parking lot. It's a very easy walk to the restaurant. Free parking always a plus. My wife picked the benedict with salmon and enjoyed the flavor but the dish was not served hot. I picked the chicken fried steak which I would not recommend. The flavor was good but the steak is so thin all you taste is the coating and the gravy (which was very good). Also of note, their breakfast potatoes come with peppers but you can order the potatoes "plain" which was great for me. So really just three-stars for our food choices. They also have a large number of bakery items and a specialty coffee area. Lots to choose from. The atmosphere inside the main building is definitely old-school dinner. They decorate for holidays so you might see goblins around in October. Free refills on fountain drinks, which is a plus. The staff was friendly and hustled. Five-stars for effort and attitude. So, read up, go during the week to avoid the crowds and...enjoy!!!

The sourdough for the patty melt is buttery and crispy as well, and the cheese is melty with smothered fried onions atop it all. It's a wonderful sandwich--I asked for mild spread, btw, but it's good, too. Also, the patty melt comes as double but get a third patty added. I think the patties are 1.75 or 2 oz so it's worth getting the extra meat. The service is relatively friendly. The ambiance is outdoor seating, so there is a lot of street noise. I'm not sure if they have a bathroom. And parking is on the street. Prices are kinda up there for a burger, but to me it's worth it. Keep in mind that smash burgers aren't typically juicy due to the smashing. But the sauce, onions, pickles, and other condiments are where you'll get "juicy" from. You get the smash for the crispy edges and onions smashed into the burger. But I'm not sure the onions are smashed in here, tbh. Give it a try. I believe you'll dig it.

Hailing from a Social Bar + Kitchen love affair, the concept was developed to celebrate the…read morecultural diversity, rich history, and the proud spirit of the original 141 residents* of the LA Basin**. Personally, I think this is one of the best happy hour bars around. Inside, it has a steampunk-y sensibility with rich, dark wood tones & comfy booths. Outside, there's a patio along Honolulu Avenue that's just the spot for people watching. HAPPY HOUR MENU :: - The wings are great. They're perfectly saucy, served with blue cheese or ranch. Pairs well with their Happy Hour Prickly Pear Cider (in a can for $5). - Also, there's Habiscus Cider on draft, which is also sweet and more soda pop-like. It's not on Happy Hour. $9 for a tall glass. - Potato Skins are stacked with toppings and super cheesy. We tried their house Ranch and asked for a side of Bleu Cheese. OTHER NOTABLE FAVES :: - $15 gets you 2 tacos with a side of chips. - Meatloaf Mondays - get a proper meal that sticks to your ribs + a pint for $20. - No wait for a booth. Food & drinks came out quickly. Overall, the service is great. Sorry, kids. This place is 21 and over only. Unfortunately, our experience was the complete opposite when it came to service. We sat at the bar, and the restaurant wasn't particularly busy. There were at least four people working behind the bar, which made the lack of service even more puzzling. It genuinely felt like we were being ignored. Not in a "they're slammed" kind of way, there was just a really odd lack of acknowledgment throughout our entire meal. What's especially surprising is how many reviews mention great service, because that was definitely not our experience. I asked to taste a couple of different beers before deciding, which was totally fine, but after that it took forever to actually get someone's attention to order one. Once we finally got our beer, we were ready to order food, but again, no one acknowledged us. We waited patiently and eventually had to get someone's attention ourselves. We ordered the fish and chips and the pot roast French dip. The menu says the French dip comes with a choice of chips or salad, but our server never asked us which we wanted. We assumed chips were the default since the choice was never mentioned. When our food arrived, we didn't have any silverware. We asked the person who dropped off our food for some, and he seemed genuinely confused by the request. It took a while for him to bring us rolled silverware that was apparently already ready to go. We then asked about the chips with the sandwich. He went to the kitchen, came back with the ticket, told us it came with salad and that we needed to request chips, and then simply walked away. This was probably the most frustrating part because it would have been such an easy customer-service moment to handle differently. Chips aren't exactly an expensive or complicated item. A simple, "It actually comes with salad unless you request chips, but no problem I'll bring you some," would have completely changed the interaction. Instead, we were essentially told we were wrong and left it at that. After that, no one checked on us. I needed some extra malt vinegar and asked the bartender for it. He never brought it and never acknowledged the request again. What made the whole experience even stranger was that the people sitting around us seemed to be getting perfectly normal service. It just felt like we were somehow invisible. After we finished eating, our plates sat in front of us for a long time. Again, no one checked on us, asked if we wanted another drink, dessert, or anything else. I eventually had to physically push my plate toward the edge of the bar and ask for the check before we got any acknowledgment. I honestly can't remember the last time I experienced service that was this consistently odd and nonexistent. And unfortunately, the food itself wasn't anything particularly memorable either. We were genuinely looking forward to having a new neighborhood spot, so it was disappointing to leave with such a bad impression. Maybe we caught them on an off night, but based on our experience, we won't be returning.
