Bad customer service just bad. Ordered one large Sprite and two Iced Coffees with no ice no cream and no sugar but I was interested in a world cup. Was told that the world cups are only sold with combos...okay so I order a combo. Get the the second window two iced coffees with cream and sugar ( not what I ordered) so he starts over and is able to fill one cup with iced coffee but runs out for the second cup. Then I'm handed my meal and sprite but no world cup. Then I'm told that the world cups are only with Certain combos and I say I ordered a combo to get a world cup, they did give me a world cup but cmon do better. McDonalds should be ashamed of the sanitary conditions at their self serve drink & condiments area. It was flat nasty, unclean and unstocked. No containers for ketchup, although, I asked for packaged ketchup because the ketchup dispenser was filthy. One of the soda dispensers had live wires hanging out of it. To top it off, my quarter pounder, honestly, I've never had a bad tasting one, until now. It will be at least 6 months or more before I can forget the bad taste of that QP. ugggh. read more

The website, the door of the restaurant and google all says they are open till 12am. Showed up at 11:25pm, and the doors were locked and the screens were shut down from ordering. Don't advertise that you're gonna serve until 12 if you're going to close at 11. Wouldn't trust this place to make the simplest of burgers. Lazy establishment. read more

On 6/1 around 1:00 pm we ordered a crispy chicken sandwich and fries. After we received the bag and opened our order a few miles down the road, here (photo) is what we received along with cold, soggy fries. Chicken was cold, hard inside and soggy outside and nothing on the sandwich except a soggy pickle slice. (Also, know that you may get someone over their intercom who is very hard to understand due to a thick accent. Breakfast menu ends at 10:30AM. Long line around 11am and the placement of the menu in drive thru was not well thought out. I always hated the confusion of a menu that McDonald's has with the placement of items and the amount of selection. Now imagine rolling up hoping to get some sausage egg McMuffins but can't see the menu until it's my turn to order with a ton of cars behind me AND the server rushing me to place my order... I didn't even have time to process what is available at that time. Yeesh! Ended up getting a hot and spicy McChicken, a quarter pounder, and chicken nuggets. Both the McChicken patty and nuggets were still cold in the middle! Come on. Rush me to order and then rush my order. Such an annoying visit. read more

The main draw here was the timing for breakfast. Our hotel offered a complimentary breakfast, which was 'light' by any standard. It also didn't start until 7 a.m. On our 2nd day, we were up and ready for breakfast by 6:40 a.m., so we made the 2-minute drive to this place instead of waiting. Parking is in a large shared lot, and none of the other business that share it were open yet. They rely heavily on order-kiosks (perhaps they passed a high minimum wage law here, so counter people are being phased out). You can still order at the counter, though. The food came out quickly. We ate there and took our coffees with us. T The clientele was an interesting mix of locals and tourists. There was even an aging cowboy complete with spurs on his boots, a hat, and a gun-belt featuring a revolver, a large knife, and bullets along the edge (whatever you call a bandalier when it is incorporated into a belt). If you need to get out to the trails before all the RMNP parking fills up, this would be a good bet. They apparently open at 5 a.m. read more

Service? They don't have service here. The wait for food was a long time too. And when they gave you you food they just threw it up on counter and barked your number and walked away. Tons of people had to ask for the cups for the pop they ordered. I asked for ketchup and mustard packets and I just got ketchup. We went through Estes and decided to grab some quarter pounders and eat at their picnic bench. The best Mickey D's are the ones in Colorado with the best views. I ordered one QPC and one bacon QPC, 2 drinks and 2 medium fries. The drive through was not busy. I was correctly charged for what I ordered. However when I got home I was missing one of the fries and I got NO QPC at all. Instead I got three small regular cheeseburgers. I don't understand if those bagging the food cannot read the monitors or what. But that's a pretty big screw up. I hope whomever got my food enjoyed the expensive meal I paid for. I won't be back. OH COME ON. Yes, it's a MCDONALD'S but it was an absolutely painful experience to go through. This isn't the only fast food place (there's a Subway and Starbucks right in the same area) so don't waste time here. All I wanted was a 10 piece chicken nuggets meal and a sprite, but it took about 20 minutes to get the whole thing together and in my hands. I went inside to order (BIG MISTAKE) and they forgot my order. I watched my number disappear from the "now serving" screen as they rolled out other food. I asked a worker what was going on and they gave me half of my order. Only when I realized their mistake did they give me the fries and sauce that I had asked for and was on my receipt. This is one of the better restaurants in Estes Park. Clean, always busy, always consistent, even employees that stick around... This is the place for a burger in Estes Park. Living in a mountain tourist town has its dining challenges. Maybe in a bigger city, a McDonald's would never be my option - but here, it is! While I really hate what I'm doing to my arteries when I enjoy McDonald's, I have to say this particular McDonald's has the best french fries, amazing iced tea, and those really good little cheeseburgers are just perfect. In a pinch I am in the drive-through, and sometimes when the drive-through wraps around the entire parking lot, I actually go inside which has been a new adventure for me. What can I say, for seven bucks I got a pretty yummy meal. I know my arteries are going to explode. But still. read more

For the past week, I have visited daily and only ordered a drink and egg mcmuffin. On each visit, I waited over ten minutes to get my single breakfast sandwich. This is the only McDonald's in Estes Park, and it shows. The staff seemed friendly enough when I stopped in with a potential business associate to meet over coffee, but we found the coffee to be somewhat bland, the tables dirty, and the lobby free of any verification of its status whatsoever. Given the state of the lobby during a downswing in the flow of the business day, I'm somewhat elated that I did not deign to visit the restroom. I've stopped through on previous occasions, and found it to be relatively passable as a McDonald's location in a small, touristy mountain town, but those experiences were all through the drive-through and the dirtiness factor was therefore mitigated. If you need a quick coffee for a dollar, stop through. If you want somewhere cleaner to eat, it's unlikely the Taco Bell would be any worse. I hope. read more

This McDonald's is the standard newer model of place with the minimalist appearance. I got here at the lunch rush so I expected chaos, but to my surprise it was actually flowing very well. Orders were being taken pretty fast and it didn't take that much time at all to get our food. The bathrooms were also decently clean and stocked with what they needed. The food had some custom changes to it, and of the 8 or so items we ordered we received everything in the fashion desired. There was no mistakes and the young man who took our order was polite and smiled. For a lunch rush I was fairly pleased with my experience. read more
