Reviewing McDonald's certainly seems to be the ultimate lazy man's cop-out as there's no middle ground... you either love it or you hate it. And besides who at this point doesn't have a well formed opinion on Ronald's nutritionally vacant chain. All that said, a little love for what is IMHO their best product, the Filet-O-Fish. This Lenten favorite (developed quite by accident by a Cincinnati franchisee in the 60's) doesn't even require teeth as you can pretty much gum the damn thing into submission. I love it and is one of my evergreen rationalizations for visiting the Golden Arches on a semi-annual basis. At this point, I believe the patty is made from Cod, who knows and who cares. Quite possibly the worst McDonald's in the Edison area, in quality of food, attentiveness of employees and cleanliness. On many occasions I've received a Big Mac with 1 bun missing, incorrect sauces which I've repeated to the employees multiple times to avoid the confusion and on my most recent visit I bit into a Big Mac with a nice, long, dark hair. I was absolutely livid and lost my appetite immediately after fasting for the day. It is incredibly rude and disrespectful to rush through orders and mishandle the food like this. When I asked for my sauces, the attentive employee proceeded to fix his durag and gave me the wrong sauce. I can appreciate that it is demanding to work in a customer service role, however, the lack of empathy for others that stems from this establishment is appalling and has scarred me from eating fast food, ESPECIALLY McDonald's. Went here to try the Travis Scott meal and they didn't have fries. I kindly asked if they could substitute anything else to make up for this. The nice cashier asked his manager and she said no, so I decided to just order the sandwich - but apparently it's roughly the same price as the meal, so I asked again, can you substitute anything? Hash browns? An upgraded drink? The manager reluctantly offered two hash browns to atone for not having fries. Then as I was leaving the store, I opened my bag to find just one hash brown. Only thing I can say that is good with this location is that the food normally is hot. 80% of the time I never get my order correct or is missing items. I'm not sure if it's a reading issue but if you order a burger without a bun and they give you just a bun you have to think. This has happened 3 times also so it is not a fluke. Today I ordered nuggets and a sandwich and when I got home no sandwich to be found. What are they going to do, deliver it to me. I would say check your orders even if you see 5 items in the bag because more than likely its incorrect. read more

We went here about 5:15 on Sunday December 17th. Not crowded. We ordered Filet-O-Fish, quarter pounder with cheese, 10 piece chicken nuggets and a vanilla milkshake. Service was slow and no personality with the employee taking our order. She was rude and Curt. When our order was ready she basically just threw the bag on the counter and said there you go. When we open our sandwiches they look terrible they look like somebody had just slap them together they don't look anything like the pictures on the menu they don't even look appetizing if we weren't so hungry we would have returned them. Hands down the worse McDonalds on route 1. The wait times is insane and then when you get the order it is missing some necessary item. I've never seen a McDonald's like that before. This is the worst McDonalds I have ever been to in my 20 years of life. This was an ill-advised lunch choice for sure. We went to this McDonald's because the Menlo Park Diner had an hour wait. We like Mcdonald's, so this seemed like a safe choice. Oh boy... First, I ordered a number 6. That's a grilled chicken sandwich. The girl behind the counter whispered something, and stared down at her register like a zombie. We awkwardly waited for some sign of life. Finally, I asked her if she just said something. "The big mac?" She whispered. I corrected her and advised her that the chicken sandwich is the number 6. I then asked for the sandwich to have just cheese and lettuce. "A cheese sandwich," she whispered. I again advised her that I wanted a chicken sandwich with cheese and lettuce as the only toppings. She fazed out for a bit. We waited. By the time we would have been seated at the diner, she asked "so no meat?" I corrected her again. I then see her digital register read "chicken sandwich, only cheese, only salt." What? Then she says to me "sauce." We just moved on to our next order, chicken tenders. That seemed to be entered correctly. Our food was gross. The fries were undercooked. My salt and cheese chicken sandwich was grey in color and greasy. The chicken tenders tasted like garbage. A cheese sandwich actually would have been better. There was no toilet paper in the ladies room. The place wasn't even busy, so I don't understand how they couldn't have known this. Don't eat here. Couple days ago I ordered Sirloin burger, french fries, and a cup of coffee. I started feeling uneasy right afterwards. The next morning, I vomited a few times and had an all day diarrhea. Lost count, but probably over 20 times. My wife experienced the same symptoms. I can't be for sure, but it must of been Norovirus. Do NOT go to this McDonald's at night or during off peak hours. If they are not constantly busy their fries are old and cold every time. Their sandwiches taste as if they have been sitting for hours. I have call to let them know I received bad food and one manager said it wasn't during his shift so I'd have to call back the next day when the other manager is back on! Also called about cold fries and they offered me new ones but I was already home. No other offer or apology made. I try my best not to go to this one unless it is crowded!
