Neither my smoothie nor my french fries were filled to the top... I went to ask if I could have the french fries to the top and the kid looks like the manager ,fat white guy behind the counter, said screw you lady... The woman was helpful got me a large fry that I ordered not that I needed that but he felt the need to come by and tell me again you're rude... Really I'm rude because I want my fries full ? This place is quite normal. Like any other McDonald's, they are pretty quick with bring orders in, in the morning. I like that they have posters for new items from the menu every now and then. They usually get the order right most of the time but they have some off days too. Over all it's as normal as they get. read more

The only reason I have went back (5) horrible times in the past year are the kids' requests, and that for the toy in a happy meal! We had an ok experience here, even though the ice cream machine was broken, and we waited in a very long line. The lady that took our order was so pleasant and friendly (I wish I remembered her name). I could tell she worked hard to make people feel welcome and she knew two different people in front of us by name and said, "would you like the usual order again?" She was friendly and kind and made the restaurant feel more like a small town diner rather than a chain. I am giving 3 stars due to it being understaffed and a rather long wait. me and my buddy ordered 2 burgers, in all a solid 8 dollars, we waited 27 min just to pay for are order, then waited another 40 min just to get told they gave are orders to the wrong person, the bathrooms are absolutely discussing, every table there is not cleaned including the seats, i would not recommend ordering in the building, never eating there again. i would recommend sonic tho. If I could give zero stars I would. I live here in Durango in these people constantly screw up my order. I am diabetic and they almost always give me this nasty, disgusting, sweet tea even whenever I specify that you want unsweet three times and ask them to repeat what you just ordered. It has happened seven times in the past year. You have one job; fulfill an order correctly. It's not rocket science. They also consistently fill all of the drive-through orders before even paying any attention to the customers inside. They are impersonable, and do not offer good customer service. When you want to order inside they try to force you to use kiosks to place your order so that they do not have to put any effort into the customer service aspect. Steer clear of this place. Not a whole lot of intelligence or common sense going on here. IMHO just a bunch of minimum wage idiots running the place (into the ground). read more

My family and my brother's family visited this horrible establishment on Jan 2, 2018 at around 5 p.m., before enjoying the Polar Express ride on the D&SNGRR. We chose this restaurant because it was close to the train station and we thought that our kids would prefer the food. This was the most filthy restaurant I have ever visited (including my travels in third world countries). Not a single table was clean, trash was on the floor everywhere, trash cans were overflowing. We were one of the very few customers in the restaurant at the time. In fact, there were more employees than customers- yet there was absolutely no effort being made to clean the facilities at all! Instead, a bunch of college-aged boys behind the counter were jokingly pushing and shoving each other and taking selfies. My first plea for potential customers is to please don't make the same mistake that we did- please visit one of the many local restaurants around town instead (even if your kids are picky eaters). My second plea is for the Durango town officials: please maintain the beauty and prestige of your city by holding restaurants like this one to higher standards! You have a wonderful downtown and an excellent historical railroad facility. Please consider having your health code officer visit this restaurant more frequently so guests like myself don't leave with even a hint of a bad taste in there mouths! There is not a rating low enough for this place. Avoid it at all costs. Seriously, unless the owners make some changes, this place will be out of business. We stopped there before getting on the train one morning, and chaos would be a mild term to describe this place. I called the number on the wall to complain, and the owner (I assume) called me back a few days later and was apologetic. Went in because the line seemed much slower inside. Once I ordered I watched the cashier play on her phone and I could see my food sitting waiting for her to put in in a bag. Wow! Where to start? My uncle got the quarter pounder which was raw & had a small bone in the meat. I went to the front to let a worker know & it was chaotic back there. Ghastly! Awful! Used to be fair, but recently have had consistently poor experiences. After several recent tries, I give up. We stopped ordering shakes awhile ago, as they were runny every time. Today was the worst...chicken nuggets for the kids were burnt and oily as if they were fried a second time, and large fries were not filled. Always out of Diet Dr. Pepper. Came in to get a simple order...3 hotcakes, 1 hash brown and 1 hot chocolate. A nice breakfast on thanksgiving that I thought a 2 yr old could make yet the cashier couldn't do the math and charged me $17 for a $6 meal. We went into the lobby at 11pm on a Friday night of memorial weekend. The sign on the door said the lobby closed at 12midnight. There was a manager and three other employees working. The lobby had a few people eating, and maybe 2 other people besides y boyfriend and I ready to order. The drive thru was very busy; maybe 7-8 cars in line. The manager was clearly NOT emotionally equipped to handle this, and was obviously frustrated (I get it--I worked in fast food for a number of years, and it is difficult). The bad part is that all those negative and rude thoughts a worker has in their head during the shift, usually STAY in your head. This guy was loudly verbalizing his rude thoughts to customers. He rushed out to the lobby and locked the door at 11:05, staring "WHY do people keep coming IN?!" And when he handed out an order (one bag, maybe several McDoubles if I remember) to a guy, he said "and don't order that order AGAIN!" Finally 30 min later he called out our order (2 fish, 1 fry, 1 cheeseburger), stating "two fish, and some other crap!!" And walked away. We were quiet observers, but still the stress of the energy in there was palpable. I'm sure the owner would be mortified to know this is how their store is being run. read more
