I never thought I'd be writing a glowing review for an airport McDonald's, but credit where credit is due! During a layover in Terminal C at DFW, we were looking for a quick bite in the food court that wasn't too heavy or too expensive. McDonald's ended up being the move, and it completely exceeded expectations. It had been years since I last had Chicken McNuggets, and these were cooked to perfection--super crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and full of flavor. We also got the Snack Wraps, which had the perfect chicken-to-sauce ratio. To top it off, the Oreo and M&M McFlurry hit like pure nostalgia from high school, maybe even better--the mix-in ratio was spot on in every bite. Service was quick and efficient--we didn't wait long at all, and everything came out fresh. Huge props to the team working the night shift on July 26, 2026. You guys crushed it! read more

Our flight was unfortunately delayed by two hours and all the lounges had a wait. We were hungry and needed to eat. There's a new Grinchmas meal I was eager to try because I wanted the socks. I got the chicken nugget meal and a cheeseburger. The nuggets are always bland and taste like cardboard. Sauce saves these bad boys. However the fries with the dill pickle salt were so good! I got the green socks and I'm hoping to collect them all. We shall see. It was easy to order via the kiosks and their cashless system. Food came out quick with plenty of seating. read more

Absolutely horrible. Walked in line at 8:53 and was denied service the second we got in line due to "closing at 9". 1. It was not 9 pm. There was 7 more minutes to take our order. As a business you are to accept orders until your close. 2. Why does a McDonalds in an airport close at 9?!! You should be 24/7 or at least open until 12 am on a Saturday. This is absolutely absurd. I hope you recognize how horrible this experience was especially for a pregnant woman who needs to eat after getting off a 4 hour flight. read more

I didn't take any pictures but it was the standard Quarter Pounder with cheese and fries. It looked exactly what you expect it to look like. As for taste? It was great. No surprises, just good food. (As for the onion situation, since this was during the recall, all the onions on the burger were obviously hand cut fresh.) Listen, in the area of the DFW airport we were at, there were not very many choices for affordable food without walking a ways, and frankly the Quarter Pounder w/cheese sounded good. The service was efficient and the people working there were polite. It took almost no time at all for our order to be made and ready. Terrible experience. The food was completely bland and low quality. On top of that, cleanliness was basically zero -- staff were handling food without gloves, which is unacceptable. When hygiene is ignored, everything else loses its value. I definitely won't be coming back and would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Annoyed that in this day and age with companies pushing us to use their kiosks that they can't at least take the time to program them correctly. If you're not going to participate in the McDonald's loyalty program then don't offer it at the kiosk. It just causes frustration for the customer and the people having to wait for their turn. The service is rather quick. I noticed that the cash register person who attended me also was very kind and friendly to other customers. It also help that she was bilingual. After thinking that I might miss my connecting flight I made the decision to grab a quick meal since I hadn't eaten at all that day. As a sidenote, why are there so many McDonald's in this one airport? Coming here, it was a quick stop. It wasn't necessarily close to my gate, but on my way to the gate. Surprisingly there weren't many people waiting to place an order. I made my order, and pushed off to the side to wait for it to be brought to the counter. Service was fast. The staff were polite. And the food came out hot and fresh, or as fresh as fast food can be. Food was your typical McDonald's fare, nothing to write home about. But that's what you should expect to get. I'm going to give this McDonald's, inside DFW's Terminal C, a sightly higher rating than say your typically MickyDs. Why? Their hours. This location opens at 4AM! No other restaurant was open at 4AM. We had a super early flight and needed caffeine. My first choice would have been Starbucks. But was it open? No. Starbucks (Terminal C) does not open until 5AM. So McDonald's to the rescue and we thank you! Bottom line: It's still a McDonald's and a tad more expensive, but it was open! read more

From the extremely polite person that waited on me to the smiling employee that handed off my food, a fast, efficient, and pleasant interaction. Ok, so it's been awhile since I have been to any McDonald's so I'm not sure if all the other McDonald's are as bad as this one... but seriously, this is probably one of the WORST McDonald's that I have ever been to. My group and I all had a two hour layover here in Dallas and thought I would have a lot of time to eat since we were all starving. We originally thought we had time to eat at the VIP Lounge; however, going through customs took forever so I had only literally like 20 minutes to grab some food, which is why I thought of McDonald's since I figured it would be quick since there were no lines. We stood at the counter and no one bothered to greet us until I had to say something. I figured I would order some food for two of my friends that were rushing over because they were stuck at customs longer than I was. So we ordered Four Cheeseburgers and one McRib. I seriously don't know what was taking them so long. I saw them finally working on the four cheeseburgers that I ordered and then their "off the clock coworker" came by and everyone (the employees) came over and started chit chatting it up... I was annoyed, but I was still patient even though everyone from my plane boarded already since I was right next to the gate. Anyways, the girl finally left and they went back to work on my burgers and I think by that time, they had forgotten what they were doing already. HERE ARE MY REASONS FOR THINKING THAT: They finally called our number and when we were walking away, we realized.. They had forgotten our McRib so we had to run back real quick to grab it. They apologized. Then when we were inside the plane, I gave my friends their food. They were grateful because everyone was so hungry! Even myself! We were all stuck at customs for so long. I finished about 15 minutes before they did so I got them food because I knew everyone needed it. Then I sat down and opened my cheeseburger. THEY FORGOT TO GIVE ME MY PATTY!!!! They just gave me TWO BUNS, CHEESE, PICKLES and some KETCHUP! You think that if you did something nice... you would get a patty on your burger at the very least especially when you're starving! Anyways, I am fairly ANNOYED at this McDonald's and their employees! I guess they don't really need to care about anything like consistency and customer service because they are inside of an airport. Burgers were ok but speed of making the meals was ridiculously slow. I am not a fan of fast food at all but because our layover was not very long, we decided to get a couple of McDonalds burgers so we don't spend too much time getting food. My husband ordered and was given a buzzer. 20 minutes later, we were still waiting for our food, along with many other people! Eventually my husband stood up and got closer to the register and then eventually saw that our food was sitting there on the counter but the buzzer didn't go off and they didn't try to call out the number! We ended up having our meals about 25+ minutes later. They were barely warm and there was no offer to replace the burgers with hot ones! Despite this, they tasted better than we expected hence why they earned themselves 2 stars total. Prices were pretty expensive compared to a regular location outside the airport. I will probably go somewhere else to eat the next time I'm transiting in Dallas! read more

Stopped here for a breakfast biscuit and some coffee while waiting for my flight to Houston. Service was fast and friendly and I saw a lot of airport employees eating here, so I figured they must like it too. I had two biscuits and the bacon, egg and cheese was excellent. I also ordered a southern chicken biscuit and the actual biscuit part was great but the chicken was a little chewy and tasted like it had been frozen, thawed and refrozen again. It wasn't good at all. The coffee was truly terrible, but I have low expectations for McDonald's coffee. It really tasted like plastic. But for friendly service and a good biscuit, I can't be too harsh. read more

We got here before 5am and were thankful it was open for breakfast. They had one cashier and two self - serve kiosks. The seating area had a lot of space, but wasn't clean, which was disappointing considering how early it was. I can't imagine how dirty it would be during high traffic times. We ordered using the cashier instead of the kiosk. She was very friendly and kind despite the early morning time. The food came quickly and accurately. I was frustrated at first since I ordered a sweet tea and when I picked it up, it was labeled unsweetened; however, one I tasted it I was happy to taste that super sugar sweetness. The food was typical McDonald's breakfast except the biscuits. The biscuits were delicious and fluffy. Not as dense as I'm used to from my occasional McDonald's breakfast. I definitely recommend grabbing a bite from here on your way to your gate or baggage claim. read more

McDonald's is McDonald's, what makes a store like that different is 2 things, customer service and cleanliness. This store scores very high on both. I'll share a small story that really changed my perspective on customer service and McDonald's. I had forgotten my debit card and I was trying to find a way to pay online. Since I'd be spending the night at the airport, I needed to grab a bite before everything shuts down. Long story short , after multiple tries the guy at the counter offer to paid for me. My back to the real world meal. After getting through TSA much faster than I expected I had 2.5 hours to kill while waiting for my flight. After taking a quick look at the restaurant choices available I decided I would go with the golden arches. The one thing I wanted to report in this review was that this particular establishment ran efficiently. I ordered at one end of the counter and picked up my meal at the other end. Total time was probably 3 maybe 4 minutes. They were johnny on the spot and firing on all cylinders during my visit. My food was hot and fresh and since there wasn't a meal on my flight it was nice to have something to hold me over until I could get home. read more

Quite simply the quickest airport fast food restaurant experience I've ever had. The food was brought out to me just as I was wrapping up with the cashier. And there was absolutely no airport markup. The egg mcmuffinare even cheaper here by around 15 percent compared to my home non-airport McDonald's. The cheeseburger happy meal was $4.65 plus tax. What was best was the food was very fresh and hot, and they got the fries RIGHT. It's always hit and miss with mcdonalds but the fries were hot, crispy and soft in the middle, not overfried nor soggy from being leftover the oil vat. It's located in terminal c (American Airlines) inside a food court with other choices like Manchu Wok, urban taco and red mango frozen yogurt. read more

It's the age old question... How can you rate a fast food place against other restaurants? I am going to give this place 4 stars based on presentation, speed, price and taste... We have all been to McDonald's yes, but when I need food in an airport, I want it fast and cheap... this place held up to that well... I ordered a double QPWC meal that cost me just over 8 dollars (not bad for airport prices). It came out very fast and I mean look at the photo attached... It's made better then most burgers you get down the street! It was nice and hot and the taste was exactly what it should have been. Now don't get me wrong, this airport had a LOT of food choices and saying this place is better than them by rating it 4 stars is probably inaccurate... Worst McDonalds service in all the many airports I've been to. Burger was under cooked and I ordered a bottle of water. I received a bottle of room temperature water. Politely asked for a cold water. Guy asked for tempe water to woman with white shirt who delivered me a warm bottle of water. When I asked for a cold bottle, she gave me the original bottle with attitude. If they didn't have cold water, that's all they needed to say. I know it's McDonald's at an airport but really crappy service and employees.
