There was only one car ahead of us but in no time we were in ordering position. Hubby was driving and he hates ordering at a drive thru. But the ordering experience went great. We pulled around to the side window and paid and then our food was ready in a jiffy. I love how their Coke is so strong and has gas in it since I only got a blizzard my grandpa got a number one with all toppings on it to say that the chairs are so clean tables have been literally wiped down. I can really say this is the cleanest Dairy Queen. I've been to had to give my things to the employees. Over in the area for an oddball reason, checked fast food with good Yelps and this one has a strong positive history, so I came over, and was NOT disappointed. It's a LOT nicer than most. Don't come here if you want to eat at 9 o'clock when they close at 10:30 on a Saturday. Both doors were LOCKED when two customers were actively eating. The workers kept looking at us as if we were in the wrong when there were no signs saying they were "closed on the inside". People were in there but they were too proud to unlock the doors and deal with more customers. AND all hour signs in the doors said closed at 10:30 or 10. First time here in a long time. This location has had a recent remodel and looks pretty nice. Descent drive thru business at this moment. Only a couple of people dining. Floors spotless, bathroom was clean and stocked. A few of the tables did need some attention. Patio was clean and ready to be used. I had to go with the normal stand by, 4 piece Chicken Strip basket with beverage. Next time I plan on trying their special Brisket Street Tacos 3 for $4.99. Cashiers first day on the job. This is beyond ridiculous, had a call in and came about 15 minutes later. Went through the drive through and they said to park and they would bring it to my car. It's going on 30 minutes now and they have not brought us our food but they sure have been helping the people in the drive thru consistently. This has to be the worst DQ over ever been to in my life. The employees are rude and very unhelpful. Turns out you weren't even supposed to park but wait by the front door. I ordered a strawberry cake cupfection this afternoon. Well, there was just one small spoonful of cake and the rest was just ice cream and strawberry syrup. For all practical purposes I got what you would call a strawberry sundae. If I wanted that I would have ordered it. The manager took my order. I told him to make sure that it has proper a mount of cake in the cup and not too much ice cream based on my previous experience at this location. He ssid that would be extra. They make sure there are cookie dough chunks throughout and the soft serve tastes like vanilla flavored fudge and not the other way around! YUMmmm. The location looks really old. There is NOTHING fancy about it. Also, I looked at the menu online and this location didn't have the stuff online. I asked for the flamethrower and the clerk didn't know they had it until she found a sign that said they did. It's an older sandwich but not on the menu here. I come here occasionally and don't ever remember having problems. However, today I'm pretty disappointed. I ordered thru the drive thru an order of jalitos and a Reece's blizzard. The attendant asked if I wanted ranch or marinara, I asked for ranch. The asked again what type of blizzard, I said reeces. I get home and there's what appeared to be marinara and my blizzard was Heath bar. I called the store and spoke with Angie, the manager. She said they don't even have marinara sauce, so maybe I had the wrong store. I assured her I was calling the number on the receipt. After further evaluation, I realized the red sauce was not marinara, it was salsa. Angie barely offered an apology.
