    Mcchickens without the chicken.
    Core D.

I ordered two mcchickens from here and they delivered them without chicken. I hope this doesn't happen to someone else.

I haven't been to a McD's in a long time. My husband informed me this location was renovated somewhat recently. It's definitely nicer than other locations I have been to. It even has two self serve machines to place your order online. My husband and I arrived around 12:30 and the drive through line was busy. Apparently some folks don't know the set up for the drive thru as they were blocking part of the lot to drive around the drive thru and we were held up. The inside was pretty empty in comparison. As I mentioned I haven't been to a McD's in awhile so I was surprised at how pricy a meal is now. It feels like just yesterday it was only $6, but maybe that just means I'm getting older. My 10 piece chicken nugget meal today was $7.59. That's almost the price you would pay for some fast casual restaurants. My husband got a big mac meal for roughly the same price. The taste of the food was equivalent to what you would expect elsewhere. Although the fries were so piping hot, I had to blow on them and let it cool down for a minute. Helpful tip to note (poster displayed on a window): If you purchase a gift card of $50 or more between Nov 23-Dec 31 you will receive a free Big Mac once a mth for a whole yr. (While supplies last, only at this location) Pretty sweet deal!

Thats her trash set on the machine as she helps take an order

I am disappointed to see this employee eating in between orders. Then set her trash on top of machine as she takes orders. She seemed unfriendly that her eating had to be interrupted to take a customers order. Then she coughed 2x into her hands while at counter. She just continued what she was doing without washing her hands. Wheres management?

Overcooked in dirty grease and charged me for a packet of honey on this dry nasty sandwich
    Tashia T.

Terrible customer service. I ordered a nasty deluxe chicken sandwich meal and it was cooked in dirty grease. Then they had the nerve to charge me $.35 cents for sauce for my dry sandwich that had NOTHING ON IT. The manager came to the window after the guy at the window got upset bc I asked for 3 straws to go with my drinks. Bad customer service, management, and food. Dont go to this mcdonalds

I stayed at the hotel across the way from this McDonald's and I could see that there was always a good queue at the drive through from 5:00 to past 7:00. McDonald's isn't in any danger of going out of business, that's for sure. Inside, this McD's was reasonably clean and the condiments area was decently tidy. The crew was doing what they could to get orders filled but they were shorthanded by at least one. My quick cheeseburger, fries and bottle of water was trayed up and ready. The sandwich was assembled okay too. No complaints. This McD's is A-OK.

So disgusting! A hair in my iced coffee!

Slowest service. Truly incredible. Never again. Stay away. Isn't even close to calling itself fast food.

30 minute wait is bunk for a drive thru line and no explanation? That's very wrong even for a fast food conglomerate.

The truffle popcorn was excellent, our child enjoyed the shrimp and fries, and the fresh tuna appetizer was flavorful, although overly sauced. Unfortunately, the scallops with risotto were unacceptable. Both entrees had a strong ammonia-like taste from the first bite, which was immediately noticeable to both of us. We were unable to get much attention from our server due to how busy the restaurant was, but the dishes were left mostly untouched for a reason. For a $40 entrée, we expected much better quality and execution. Sadly, The Food Market did not deliver.

It turned out there is a large, free, public parking lot less than half a block from the restaurant. Our reservations were for 3:00 which worked out perfectly. We missed the buffet crowd before us and the dinner crowd after. We checked in at the front desk and were lead to our booth, which was tucked away in a corner and so cozy and comfortable. Our waitress, Lori, came by to check on us and to see if we needed anything. She was wonderful our whole dining experience. The rest of our party soon arrived and we ordered drinks and some appetizers. When our granddaughter, Ashley, ordered an alcoholic drink our waitress carded her. While checking the ID the waitress' face lit up and she smiled as she realized it was a few days past Ashley's 21st birthday. For appetizers we ordered fried green tomatoes, fried lobster bites, and duck oil fries. It wasn't long before every bit of the appetizers were eaten. For our meals I ordered crab soup and an entree salad, Our daughter ordered onion soup and a hamburger. For the rest of our party there was another hamburgers ordered, a crab cake, a seafood dish, and a fried chicken sandwich. One down side to the meal was my crab soup was awful. It tasted like tomato juice with frozen vegetables and some crabmeat. (Awful crab soup? This is Maryland, it should be better than that.) I passed it down to Richard. My salad was very good, nothing outstanding, but fresh enough and quite generous. Everyone else was totally enjoying their food. Ashley only ate about half of her seafood stew, but since she had eaten over half of the lobster bites, that was not surprising. For dessert daughter ordered cheese cake to carryout. Ashley ordered some fancy piece of cake. Of course it came with Happy Birthday written in frosting across the bottom of dish. We had had requested not a big birthday fuss so that was perfect. All in all it was a nice birthday lunch. I think arriving mid day, having Lori for our waitress, and everyone if good spirits made it perfect. I would definitely be happy to go back again, especially if we could get a cozy booth with Lori as our waitress.

So we waited for our number to be called! It made us smile! We ordered the Shack Burger, Cheese Fries, and regular Vanilla Shake all of which cost a lot more than it should. All this to still say that the food was still very good. The burger patty on the Shack Burger is "smash" grilled with the perfect crunch and give and was oh so delicious. The crinkle cut fries had a cheese topping that is very creamy, not too runny, and is just perfect! The Vanilla shake was so good, we polished it off before we could take a photo! I was…read moreactually surprised during my visit, because I was really thinking that this was going to be one of those awesome 5-star experiences, but it just wasn't. As I approached this business, I found the outside to be clean and the landscaping was pleasant. After entering, I was immediately faced with a bunch of kiosks for customers to place their orders. I just don't like kiosks. To me, this just shows me a business that is trying to reduce their customer service by not hiring cashiers and making the customer perform the cashier's job with no cost benefit to the customer. After placing my order, I was then questioned with how much I would like to tip. I found this to be even more annoying. What am I tipping for? The quality of the food?...I haven't eaten it yet. The quality of the service?...I haven't received any yet. Tipping BEFORE any experience is ridiculous and presumptuous. To me, tipping is a way for the customer to show that they are satisfied (or highly satisfied) with the experience they have had AFTER they have had it. I ended up ordering the double SmokeShack Burger, which comes with two beef patties, cheese, bacon, cherry peppers, and ShackSauce. The burger was really delicious, but I was surprised by how small it was for being a double. I also ordered the Bacon Cheese Fries, which are crinkle cut French fries topped with cheese sauce and bacon. This was pretty good too, but not as good as I thought it would be. For my drink I was going to get a soda-pop, but then I decided to try their Shack-Made Lemonade. It tasted weird, and I regretted getting it. I was served at my table by a server who delivered my food without saying a word. While eating my meal, I noticed that the inside of the restaurant looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. In fact, I did not see anyone cleaning anything inside during my entire visit. Even more disturbing was the lack of friendliness of the employees. I kid you not, there were about a dozen people working here during my visit and I did not see a single employee crack a smile...not for anyone. While leaving, I decided to order their Chocolate Blackout Pudding Shake. After getting back to my hotel with this for dessert, I only had a few spoonfuls. Again, this tasted weird. I ended up throwing out 90% of it because it just wasn't very tasty. In total, I spent over $33, which is a ridiculously high cost for one fast food meal. In comparison with my favorite fast food restaurant, In-N-Out (primarily in the western U.S.), I can get a similar meal at In-N-Out for about HALF the cost. I don't know about you, but if I pay substantially more I expect a substantially better experience. I hope that the other Shake Shack businesses don't operate like this one; This was NOT a worthwhile experience, especially considering the cost.

Those of you who…read moreread my reviews know I typically review either really good or really "not so good" restaurants. I'm breaking my own rules, because I feel the 3.9 rating is pretty accurate, with one 5 star + exception. This was a business lunch and a convenient location so there we were. The duck fries as an appetizer were good but needed to be seasoned with a little more salt. I had a strawberry salad with some grilled chicken that was good with the greens, but dry as the desert with the chicken and borderline inedible. Here's the twist!!! My two compadres both had the grilled cheese and lobster sandwich. They both looked at me sheepishly and said, you f ed up!!! William was kind enough to break off a substantial bite and let me try it. Angels sang, children wept, and I almost passed out! It was the kind of perfection we all agreed we would have eaten 5, maybe 6 of these unnaturally awesome sandwiches until we passed out! 3.5 Star service, 4 Star ambience, and some 10 Star bites! The staff are nice, but service and the kitchen seemed a bit slow on a Sunday early afternoon towards the very end of brunch despite the area we were seated only had a few tables filled. The Crab Cake Eggs Benedict was nothing special - feeling like a flat, single-note dish.. Perhaps it was that the hollandaise sauce lacked the acidity (usually from lemon juice) to brighten the dish. Or, that the nod to Maryland - the Old Bay honey - drizzled around the edges of the dish wasn't enough to elevate it to something that is savored with each bite. The Fluffernutter Blondie is a good dessert choice if you love blondies and peanut butter. Although, it was a bit drier than I'd like, the texture was still soft.
