What stings me the most right now that drew me to write a review today, is the fact that the app reminded me of my free birthday item. I ordered through the app for a McDelivery, to buy food for my family and I. Expensive for sure, but worth it considering I was pretty busy at home. Could this be the worst Mcdonalds in America? Probably. Yesterday, I had the pleasure of visiting this hole in the wall McDonalds. Only 1 self order Kisok was working. The only beverage availabe was Sweet Tea. The worst sweet tea I have ever had. Then I got my fish sandwhich. I have never had a bad fish sandwhich from Mc, until today. It was truly awful. The bun was hard and the tartar sauce was overwhelming and tasted a little spoiled. Every time I order on the app or on the kiosk it always asks if you want any sauces and whenever I get my receipt the sauces are labeled on it. Yet I never received my sauces and when I ask for them it seems like they have a problem given them to me. I have never had such poorly prepared food from this location. The burger was so greasy it was gross. The bun was completely soaked in grease. Literally like they dropped it in the fryer. The bun just disengaged into a wet soggy mess. They service was great. People were nice enough but I had to throw the food in the trash. read more

The location is clean apon eye view, but the team work is lacking :( employees look unhappy and can sometimes be heard verbally fighting in the back, the food is usually good, there have been a few times where they shorted me on my purchases or didn't change item availability for pick up, when they were out of certain items. read more

Multiple door dash orders from here have been delivered wrong. I've forgiven many without reporting concern. Recently, I approached the manager by phone about an order with multiple errors. I asked what I needed to do to rectify the situation after following her own instructions to come in to do so. Was publicly treated as an entitled person with baseless concerns.‍ She raised her voice saying they were busy! Ok. Understandable, but so am I, which is why I pay near double to have it delivered. She shoved my corrected order in my direction and rudely walked away without another word. I literally live behind this restaurant and order often. OK, McDonalds is McDonalds, they're all the same. However, for me to take time out to review a McDonalds means it's either really really great or really really bad. I've been here two times as I live just up the road. The food is standard issue food but slightly off putting. I can't describe it and i think it's more psychological than anything else because the restaurant is filthy. The staff is filthy. The counters are filthy. The place is a mess. They are also extremely rude which is odd for Chesapeake Beach; I can only assume the workers are commuting from Prince George's county. The first time I was in there, the cashier's boy friend and his buddies were loitering at the tables--not eating just sitting around. He was staring at her immensely and was upset she wasn't telling him what she did between 11pm and 1am and he was also upset because she wanted to hang out with her friends that evening but did not know what she was going to do with them.. why do I need to know this? I decided to leave during that visit as I didn't feel like having to testify at a murder trial. We won't count that trip. The second time I went in there, I ordered a cheese burger. The bun was stale. I thought about reporting said stale bun but I figured, if I turn this in, the next one might be moldy so I just ate it. The third time my wife was standing at the counter with our four year old daughter. The janitor was upset about the way her life was progressing--I can't say I blame her for that as I would be upset if after 50 years, I was mopping a floor. But her use of the "F" word was not only gramatically incorrect but slightly inappropriate in an establishment suited for children. We complained that time and the corp sent us a coupon... not sure what we're supposed to with this coupon, but hey, it's the thought that counts, after all! In closing, I would highly suggest you avoid this place and either go to the McDonald's in Dunkirk or go to Rolands grocery store, buy the raw hamburger meat and just sit in the parking lot and eat it--you're less likely to get sick. read more

The place is run by teenagers. They get annoyed when you walk up to the counter because it means that they have to stop texting/socializing with their group of friends that constantly loiter inside. Food takes forever, service is slow to acknowledge your presence and very unfriendly. Not sure if there is ever a manager on-duty, as I haven't seen any employee in there that appears to be over the age of 18. Maybe it's just a night-shift thing. read more

Every time over the past few months we've wanted a quick bite it's turned out to be the exact opposite. If the employees aren't standing by the front door smoking they are inside playing on their phones, barely recognizing the fact that they are there to offer a service. Long wait times. Not even being greeted. If you are running a cash register; shouldn't you at least say hello to the person who is making sure you get a pay check? Thankfully we don't have children, nor do we eat fast food often. It would be nice though, in our little beach town, if when we wanted a treat the location was as accommodating. Very dirty. Nothing appears to be wiped down during the day. Have to agree with the first reviewer -- the place is filthy! Just plain gross. We've lived in the area 4+ years and have been here twice. The first time was when we moved in an and had yet to unpack our belongings - that visit kept us away for over 3 years. Was there last week to get sundaes for the kids as a special treat. This is most likely the WORST McDonalds (costumer service & food) I've ever been too. After waiting 15 minutes for our food, we checked inside the bag too see if everything was correct. The manager asked "What's wrong", we replied with we were checking our food to make sure everything was correct. The manager and an employee walked around the corner and make rude remarks about us. This place really sucks. I have lived near it for several years and have been there two times. When I first got here and just the other day. They are so slow, there is always a line of people waiting for their food. We waited for about 35 minutes for our food. Having visited his location on many occasions. I would have to say that I have had a good experience. However I am very concerned that there have been many store manages over the past 6 weeks or so. When I Went to this location today, the yet another new manager was being very disrespectful to the young people who worked for her. To the point where one of her young employees was crying.. I have to agree with the other reviewers. I went to this McDonald's because it was convenient to other errands I was running that day. I had a promotion code for a BOGI and as soon as I said that, the friendly greeting I received at first turned decidedly sour. The food was standard issue, bit the restaurant was disgusting. It was one of the first hot days of the season and there was no air conditioning. The staff was uniformly rude. My advice? Skip it. Go to Roland's or Little Panda.
