The person answering the phone seemed annoyed and not interested. They sharply answer no. I followed up with a question about how late they are open, since we might be going later in the evening. Again, a sharp response. We disconnected after that. This was clue number one. In the evening we arrived around 5:30. Not a single car was in the parking lot. That should have been clue number two. We asked where they would like a party of ten. They pointed said push table together wherever. Then mentioned, oh we have a modified menu. A list of about 10-15 items that were all deep fried only. We had picked this place due to their variety of items. This is something that 100% should have been told to us on the phone. Don't worry, we decided to go to another place for dinner after some of the members in our group did not want fried food. Only reason this is not a 1 star is I think the name is clever. Outside that. Poor customer service both over the phone and in house. I recommend avoiding.

Large place with parking on the street and also in back. Nice bar with 12 beer selections on tap, custom shots and cocktails. They have three different areas to eat with TV's. Very attractive place, clean and organized. We were greeted by a very sweet young woman who would wait on us. Took our drink and food order. 5:30PM is a good time to come! Our food arrived in a timely fashion, I ordered the Cowboy burger with pub chips and husband ordered Big Dipper and a side of sweet potato fries, it did not disappoint, both our sandwiches were made to order, delicious, we were very pleased. Our waitress took good care of us. Prices were the going rate around town. Will return Debbie/ Riverview, Mich

The place was full when we entered, but no one was ahead of us in line. We were seated with mugs of fresh coffee in front of us in five minutes. For food, we stuck to the basics: plates of two eggs/hash browns/toast, with sausage added to mine. Overall it was very good. The toast was thick, possibly homemade, but if not, it still wasn't the kind of industrial-grade bread lots of diners serve, My sausage wasn't greasy or bland in the least (which, again, is something too many diners settle for). Over-medium eggs were verging on hard cooked, but I guess that beats underdone. By the time we finished the line at the back had grown, and I'm sure those in it were glad to see us stand up. They probably also left just as satisfied as we did.

When going through Cheboygan, this is a great place for a quick bite or a place to hang out and have a few drinks. They even have pool tables if you have time, bonus!! They are known for their burgers, and I'm not sure what the seasonings are, but WOW are they great and fresh! They've recently changed their kitchen hours to serve food a bit later also, which has been extremely helpful for people traveling through and around the area. You'll be treated like a local, not a tourist. We were so hungry we forgot to take pics of their burgers, but will get some next time we're there!

When we arrived, there were a couple of people inside but we chose outside (shaded) seating since it was such a nice day. The deck, which is partially covered, overlooks the Cheboygan River. Apparently there is an award winning chef creating the delectable entrees. The menu included a nice selection of appetizers and ala carts/side items, burgers, salads, baskets, desserts, pastas, etc were on the dinner entree side and available after 4pm. Too bad...the mushroom pasta sounded delightful!! My husband and I both chose fish & skinny fries. What are "skinny fries"? They are the perfect size and crispness!! They are what fries were made to be!! I ate every single delicious one!! The fish was lightly beer battered Alaskan cod and it was just what my stomach needed to tame the serious case of hangries!! I'm not sure if the best part was the first bite or the wonderful smell as it was being brought to our table! (I'm saying this because almost all my life I've lived in KS, the allergy capital of the US, and have never been able to smell things like food until we moved to MI)!! Hubby and I agreed, we will be back for a date night dinner even though this is a 30 min drive for us! Also it's a dress up or casual dress place. We really enjoyed it!
