I actually like McDonald's for a quick bite. However, this is the worse McDonald's I've ever eaten at. I ordered a fish filet meal. They didn't even bother to make sure the cheese was on the bun. It was literally melted on the side of the box. The bun was so hard on the top it made a tapping noise. I took it back. No apologies. Made me a new one but I had to go back and ask for it because they forgot about me. The fries were greasy and yet some were too hard too chew. Overall disgusting meal. Horrible experience. We went last night (5/6), around 4:30pm. You'd expect they'd be prepared for the dinner rush as there was already a long line when we pulled into the drive-thru. The person taking the order and the money was great. Here were my issues. We waited at the window for 10 minutes for our food. Not a big deal, especially if it's going to be fresh (mind you, we only live 5 min. away). That was not the case. We ordered a 20 piece chicken nugget, double cheeseburger w/ extra onions, triple cheeseburger, and 2 medium french fries. Chicken Nuggets: We got 16 out of 20 that we ordered and paid for. They were not fresh. They were hard and cold. Disgusting. My assumption is they did not have enough for our order and said "well, they won't notice until they get home, so screw it, give them what we have". Double Cheeseburger: Came with NO onions, when we asked for extra onions. And only came with 1 piece of cheese. I did not order a McDouble. I ordered a double cheeseburger which they charge more due to the extra slice of cheese. It was also cold and not fresh. Triple Cheeseburger: Not fresh and cold. French Fries: Disgusting! Not fresh, hard, and cold. This is the reason people make such a stink when fast food employees state they do not make fair wages (I worked in fast food as a teenager so I understand the work and expectations). I just experienced a 20 minute wait time at this McDonalds for 10 piece chicken McNuggets and a quarter pounder with cheese, as part of the $5 deal. Within this same 20 minute wait time, not only did multiple customers who ordered before us got to arrive first but also our orders were left neglected while white and later customers were served first. Myself and other racially diverse customers were served last. I have never had such a negative experience before at any establishment and I hope customers are aware of the subtle racism that still exists in this country to this day on such a systematic level that it even makes its way into a McDonalds. read more

The food came out quickly, but the fries were cold. I informed an employee and without saying anything, he took the cold fries and walked away. Service is terrible. Looks like they're dramatically understaffed. An employee who looked like she may be the manager or assistant manager was literally running left and right to multitask and try making the drive through and in-restaurant lines move along. She looked extremely stressed. Thing is I was trying to get just a cup of soda for someone but I was waiting for over 5 minutes. I was at the front of the line too. I order the new BLT mc muffin. It taste good. However, I think this McDonald's must be hard up financially. The sandwich had a little piece of bacon that was torn in half. Sorry but McDonald's definitely doesn't rate very well for food quality, but consistency is there. Buttermilk Chicken Strips is finally something that might not get yanked from their revolving door (another failed attempt) menu. It really comes down to service levels and cleanliness, this one rates poorly. No manager to be found and bussing of food trays and overall bathroom cleanliness is poor. Smiles are there but rare. Overall the cleanliness of McDonald's is not even close to a In-N-Out, which have the cleaner and friendlier establishment by far. And of course deck seating, that's a big miss for McD's. In the sunny places we have in California, every In-N-Out has killer deck seating, not here or in any El Dorado County McDonald's. I'll leave you with a bright spot, generally this McDonald's is never super busy especially inside. And it won't kill you and the fries are still as good as they always were. It won't kill you (today anyway). Take a shot of whiskey afterwards to give your stomach some help in digesting all that brutal starch. read more

I enjoy mcdonald's and all, but some of the workers there are insanely rude, especially one named kristy. I see her all the time and she never even has a smile on her face. If you ever ask yourself... "is it possible to screw up a 'medium coffee' order," the the answer is yes. I walked in, ordered a "medium coffee" with 3 creams, and 3 sugars. After 15 minutes of waiting, and seeing others that ordered after myself get their entire platters of food, I decided to walk up to the counter and ask about my coffee. They forgot about it. Of course. While waiting awhile for the coffee to cool in my car, I take my first sip - they got the order wrong! They forgot to put the sugar in. Additionally, while I was waiting for my one coffee drink, there were four (yes - 4) other people in line that had to ask and remind the staff about their orders. I had to come back and write a new review. Last summer was a disaster. From the ice cream machine being broken, them ordering a newnone, then trying to fix the old one, low on staff, dirty, drive thru closed during the day, etc.omg it was bad. I have to say there's been a big change... This change has been solid for about 4 months. Idk if they got new mgt nor not but it's running a lot smoother. I actually want to patronize local restaurants however that ends with this particular McDonalds. I enter the restaurant at 9:30pm on Halloween ordered a 1/4 pounder and I am told sorry we've already cleaned the grill. Really? You don't close for 30 minutes why are you cleaning the grill and telling your only customer no? I will go elsewhere to spend my money. I honestly think they have found a few really exceptional workers . I believe one of them is the manager but he's always so kind and customer service is spot on. Then there's a drive thru woman in the morning that honestly just makes it feel personable and she's so warm & welcoming. I haven't had issues at this location and I go here often because of it . Stopped here on the way home from Tahoe for a bathroom break and food. When we ordered, the young man at the counter was clearly new. We had to repeat ourselves more times that I deem acceptable. I thought for a minute that he was just blatantly not listening, but it seemed clear he was fumbling with the POS system. I would be nice if people who are training wore a badge that said "please be patient, I'm new" or something similar. That is not the reason for the negative review. Behind us in line was a kind, quiet elderly man, and behind him a clearly agitated middle age man. (He seemed in such a hurry he couldn't even park in a parking spot, he double parked outside the front door, literally) The elderly man was double checking his order with the new cashier and asked a question and the man behind him started raising his voice and making rude comments such as "it's more because there's tax a$$hole" and other such profanities. The older gentleman turned around and said what's your problem? He then took his card and receipt and moved, the middle aged man then proceeded to yell more profanities at the man and then threaten to smack the $hit out of him if he didn't get out of his way. There were AT LEAST 3 employees in ear shot of this altercation and probably 5 patrons and the employees stood there and watched but not one of them said anything. I was appalled. I was on the verge of saying something myself but didn't want to cause a scene. I also felt very unsafe having to stand near this man waiting for our food. The only solution to this would have been one of the employees or manager asked this man to leave. I have been kicking myself all day for not saying something to this POS being rude, disrespectful and threatening to an elder. Sad and absolutely not acceptable. I would also like to point out that during the time we waited for our food, we heard 3 different patrons come up and ask about why they were charged so much on their receipt. Clearly there is a training issue at this location. Next time we are on that route to or from, I will make sure to stop at a different location. read more

Came in with another person on a Wednesday for dinner. Food: Like any other McDonald's. We had a pretty big order, 4 filet-o-fish sandwiches, 1 artisan grilled chicken, 1 artisan crispy chicken, 1 mcdouble, 1 mcchicken, 1 sirloin burger, and 2 large fries. I personally had the sirloin burger and it tasted pretty good. Fries were crisp and fresh, right out of the fryer. Place: Pretty big eating area, has a drive through, and close to other eateries and stores. We were staying in a hotel across the street so it was pretty good. Service: Pretty busy McDonald's. There were 3 other orders ahead of me, and 3 orders after me. Considering the order was pretty big they completed the order in a reasonable time, but lost some points in the accuracy, they lost a sandwich. read more

Worst customer service I've ever experienced! Ordered a double quarter pounder with cheese meal. I specifically asked for no onions. When my meal finally came out to me it had onions on it. No big deal I thought I'll just go ask the nice girl Rose if I could have another one made since they made a mistake. She took it back to the manager and told me that it would be right up. 22 minutes later I went back up because obviously they had forgot to make my hamburger. It took about another five minutes to get a hamburger. When it came back out... it was my first hamburger with the onions pulled off.... but the forgot one. When I asked the manager Chris why they would just pull the onions off he said they could remake it "again". I politely asked for a refund instead. He then told me he would only refund the cost of the hamburger since I had eaten the fries during my 27 minute wait. I told him this was the worst customer service I've ever experienced and he said " oh well" I'm not giving you your money back! Update: their customer relations person was extremely nice, apologetic and said they would take this up to the store manager... if not further... This has to be one of the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. Went thru the drive thru, 9 cars in front of me at 5pm- took 25 minutes to get to the order board. Took another 10 just to take my order. Then another 15 for anyone to come to the window to take payment. Then a manager came to the window, not saying a thing. No apologies for the delay. We ordered two burgers, fries drinks and two happy meals. Arrived home which is less then 5 minutes away and fries were cold, happy meals only had 4piece nuggets instead of 6 piece that I paid for. One happy meal toy missing. Burgers looked liked they were thrown in the box no care at all... won't return here again. Management needs to change, sad day to be a McDonald's customer!!! read more

This store has a super poor service. They dont even deserve 1 star. For 2 consecutive drive thru visits, they consistently gave us wrong items. I called them and informed the manager on duty about what happened, his solution was to bring back the item and they will replace it. The staff as well as the managers need to be retrained by the headquarter. They are way poor in everything. read more
