Worst dining experience I have ever had. Went inside for a carryout order. Approximate time was 5:15 PM on Monday evening. Large multimedia display flashed 2 for $5. What I believe was an assistant manager greeted me and said hello, can I take your order? I started to speak. She then said, "Hold On" and instead put a customer in front of me. After she completed his transaction she finally said I could order. When I asked for 2 for 5, she said she would not be able to permit me to order what the sign offered. She said the promotion was no longer. I said, "Why does your flashing display say it was available?" She disagreed that it said this until she looked over shoulder. She said she said they had been working all day to have the special removed. At this point I knew I was being lied to and I nicely demanded she honor the signage. Once again, she refused to honor the deal and instead called someone to verify. Once she came back, she turned the power off to the display and said she would not honor the 2 for 5 and simply turned her back and walked away. What is wrong with you McDonald's that you hire such a rude manager and do not honor your own ads. Don't worry. I will tell everyone in Bonsall how shabily you treat people! I've never been to a McDonalds where the customer service is top notch. It's unbelievable how amazing the customer service is. The Manager Evan attended us and was over the top nice which explains why his employees are all about the customer. Very impressed! Too bad we live 2 hours away. I would frequent this location often. The AM/PM is cool because they have low gas prices. The McDonalds not so much. The reason I like McDonalds is because they are all consistent with eachother. Not this one. They always run out of stuff and can never figure out the difference between 4 cream 3 sugar and 3 cream 4 sugar. If you need a day laborer this is a good spot. I would suggest Luis! read more

10-17-19 11AM in the drive thru ordered a McDouble and small fries. Got it home 7 minutes later and here's what I had. Burger was grossly overcooked, dried out, tasted like cardboard and barely lukewarm. Fries were almost cold, soggy and rubbery - and the package was barely half full. The drive through has been relatively fast in my experience so this review gets two stars. But I've got a pregnant wife craving ice cream 24/7. So twice this week, when I drove through this McDonalds around 8pm and they "were out of all ice cream", I had issues. What kind of McDonalds, or fast food for that matter, runs out of ice cream? The worst McDonald's EVER! I've lived in Bonsall almost a decade and don't enjoy Mcdonalds personally but my littles do so we have been here many of times and EVERY single time our order is screwed up!! I don't know if it's their computer software when they enter an order that doesn't make it clear or they have the most incompetent people working there or a combination of both but there's definitely a huge issue and I will literally never come here again!! For the hundredth time they have completely screwed up the easiest order ever... two cheeseburger happy meals both with plain cheeseburgers... I repeated this 2 times "OK are you sure you got that... both with plain cheeseburgers just meat and cheese correct"? I even opened one up in the drive thru because I know better and I thought it was plain but once we got all the way home sure enough everything on both of them! Onions, pickles, mustard, and ketchup and my kids wouldn't eat them so total waist of time and money... get it together management get it together! Worst restrooms I've ever seen. Nasty! My girl went in n walked back out. Then shortly I went to the men's restroom and I walked back out. It stunk nasty. It made the food taste nasty thinking how clean is the kitchen if they can't maintain their restrooms. read more

1100 hrs, Monday, 3/25/2019. While waiting to order at counter a cockroach ran across counter. I called out to half a dozen employees and was ignored. Again a cockroach ran across the counter and I slapped at it, missing it, while calling out to the employees. Again I was ignored. My family and a turned to leave and noticed another customer was trying to get the attention of an employee to ask for a refund for her order. Guess the employees were accustomed to cockroaches. read more

This is a McDonald's. McDonald's is McDonald's is McDonald's-- which'd normally get a 3 star ranking. However (at least this is the case with the walk-in... can't particularly speak for the drive-thru) the service seems bizarrely slow for a McDonald's. Because this is not as highly frequented (again, at least on the inside), there is almost never a line longer than one person or group. But taking the service into account, it takes the same length of time to get your order up as if you had waited in a really long line at a normal McD's. Furthermore, the staff seem to have less idea wtf they're doing.... not as well-trained, I suppose. When I ordered my kids meal they asked me three times if it was for a boy or girl throughout the order. Ordered a meal with an iced tea, the guy read my order back to me but when I got to the second window they handed me the other meal and my iced tea and said have a good day. When I asked where my other meal was they told me I didn't order it. When I pointed out that's why I have an iced tea they got the guy who took my order to come over and tell me I didn't order it. When I told them I still needed it they tried to charge me the full meal price including another iced tea. They ended up taking that off but were visibly upset with me for asking. The iced tea had hardly any ice in it so never got cold. The kids meal and my meal was all thrown in the bag very haphazardly. I've had problems before here but it's convenient for me on the way to work, I generally give places a few chances but this time seemed to warrant the bad review. read more

Extremely slow service, but there were a lot of workers. On July 7,we went inside and ordered two happy meals and an order of fries for our grandchildren. In the car, on the way to Temecula, we discovered they had no drinks, which are included in the meal. I called the restaurant and talked to the manager who took all my information and told me they would send me a gift certificate. Well, guess what - never received that. This is one of the worst McDonald's I've ever been to, always out of condiments you always have to ask for ketchup in the drive-through they throw greasy fries and hashbrowns on top of the napkins in the bag which defeats the purpose of having a napkin to wipe your mouth with. Just straight up piss poor management I asked for a number one and they asked me if I want the sandwich or a combo, hey moron the number one is the combo, combo's are numbered not the sandwiches and you want $15 do this job, monkeys can do a better job. read more

i just want to say what a privilege it is to go to a McDonald's and they not know you at all but today i went there and a gentlemen at the drive through was wearing these sleeves on his arm and i asked where did he get them and he said my manager gave them to me i asked him can you ask her if she can order me a pair and he called Adreannia right over and she was a little lost but before i got out of the drive through they where calling me back and she gave me a pair i have looked everywhere for them and have not been able to find them 3 week's ago i was diagnosed with skin cancer on my arms and my doctor told me i had to find sleeves for my treatments what a blessing life can be thank you very much for helping me in a time of need read more
