I was back in this area and decided to see how this location was running after the last time I visited. I used my app and chose curbside. After checking in I set my time watch and started my wait. I was there around 3:00, so definitely not a meal rush time, so I had great expectations of good service. Happily, after what I consider a reasonable wait, a courteous employee arrived at my vehicle window with my food. The food was hot and packaged correctly. I'm very pleased that this was how things turned out. I can recall a previous experience when the store ignored curbside customers. They have clearly fixed this. For that reason, I'm happy to increase my stars for this review. read more

They frequently don't do the orders correctly. For example I ordered a Frappuccino and they simply gave me an iced coffee with whip cream on top!!!! Ice was in the drink!! I was throughly disappointed, I was looking foreward to it all morning .... Do better Mcdonald's read more

I mean you would think thy could provide basic services. NOPE I have been in the area for about 20 years. An it take an about 4 or so years for me to try this location out. Well it never fails, the staff is super rude and very orders are 90% wrong. Today was the proof I needed to no longer come for another few years. Unless it closes down. I was in drive thru as that is typically how this location likes folks to order. Anyway I placed a simple order of 1 bacon/egg & cheese biscuit. It comes out. NO egg. The lack of competency at this location is baffling to me. Well let's see how this goes. Also the space for being be done a few years ago is still very unwelcoming and the parking lot is always a mess. Definitely needs something to change. read more

They very clearly don't want you to eat inside. The only parking is in the back and the drive through side. Everything else is curbside. You have to walk through drive through traffic. The shopping center has signs everywhere that say no McDonald's parking. Clearly McDonald's created a problem. Once inside there is no soda fountain and absolutely zero condiments. Want ketchup, salt , pepper, napkins, sugar for your coffee? Gotta get back in line and ask. I have also seen this place close nearly an hour early and often times not turn on any exterior lighting at night. Seems they are hoping to not get customers. Just go ahead and close your dining room. Don't have it open but make inhospitable. Almost feels like a passive aggressive attitude towards customers that want to dine in. read more

This is the closest McDonald's to where we live, and I have eaten there many times, despite the fact that they consistently overcook their burgers, making them well done and relatively tasteless. I recently visited because they are currently serving McRibs, which if you like them (and I do), are consistently flavorful and not overcooked. However, on this visit, I was told that my request for a small cup of water would result in a $1.19 charge (plus tax), a first time any U.S. restaurant, or fast food place, has been greedy en ough to charge for a cup of tap water for someone ordering food. The manager confirmed that this is their policy (although I had never been charged before), and McDonald's customer "service" now says charges for water may depend on the size of the cup. If you care about being ripped off, I suggest you visit other locations, and you may have to ask first to see if they are as foolish as this one. read more

I just picked up a large fry and medium smoothie.. MY SMOOTHIE ISNT EVEN FULLY BLENDED!!! There's still huge chunks of ice at the bottom and it's still separated at the bottom. I've had many smoothies from dang near everywhere and I get there may be some ice pieces in there but NOT CHUNKS not even able to stir the drink! I stopped here on a weekday to try to get a Halloween happy meal bucket. The drive thru line was long however it did go quickly. Order was right and fries were hot. I scored the ghost Halloween bucket here. It was a win! read more

Previous visits I got free refills on soft drinks. Today I was informed by an assistant manager no refills. Wanted to speak with the manager but was told she was busy counting boxes in the back. I told her I'd wait. After 10-15 minutes I decided to call the store, and Daisy, the manager answered on the second ring. I asked Daisy what their refill policy was, and she was "unsure". I was in the drive through over 20 minutes. They only had ice tea and water to drink, no soda or juice or shakes. I got up to the window finally only to wait another 5 minutes for a colder than room temperature quarter pounder. THAT IS NOT FOOD SAFE. Good thing the remodeled so they can completely fail. 37 minutes. From the time we got here to the time we got our food was a total of 37 minutes. The line wasn't very long at all, maybe 3 cars ahead of us, but just moving really slow. We noticed a car in front of us leave just as they got to the intercom to order, and a few of the cars behind us were honking and/or getting out of line to leave. When we finally got our chance to order, we were told that it was cash only because their credit card machines had gone down. Luckily we had enough cash for our order. I understand there is a labor shortage, especially in fast food, but having to wait that long in line is ridiculous. What an absolute trainwreck this place is. When we got there there were no customers in the restaurant and only one car in the drive thru, so we thought we'd be in and out quickly. We went in and all the tables were dirty, but since there are no napkins available and no paper towel in the bathrooms, you can't even clean off a table yourself. We ordered three hamburger Happy Meals with no onions then sat down and waited almost ten minutes for them to call our number. They never did. When we finally went up to see if there was a problem, the Happy Meals (with no drinks) were sitting there on the counter, they just never called it out. Despite it saying NO ONIONS in capital letters on each hamburger wrapper, all three burgers had extra onions. My wife wanted them to remake the burgers but I just wanted to get out because the sooner I got out of there the sooner I could never go back. read more

But the young woman taking orders at the drive through in the afternoon on 4/30/24 clearly didn't pay any attention to the customer service training I imagine they were required to take. Was short and had an attitude. Very friendly staff, the food is always hot. No problems here at all. I've had breakfast and lunch here and the quality is always level. They have dual drive thru lanes and the interior is well kept. Decent parking area, exits right to MOPAC feeder road so you can go north or south. read more

The absolute worst McDonald's in Austin. For the life of me, how does one mess up a filet-o-fish? Every time I order one, there is either not enough tarter sauce, the cheese has glued the bun half way off the sandwich, or the filet is cold. Most times I am asked to pull over and park. Several times, after waiting 10 minutes or more, I get out of my car and ask when my sandwich will be ready. I do get a"sorry about that" from someone behind the counter. The only reason I come back is because it's close to my place. This place is an embarrassment to the McDonald's name. read more
