But today we decided to actually eat here, on the outside patio/seating. Today we got 3 cheeseburgers, all with different styles of onions. Two grilled onions and my usual raw onion. And we ALL shared one order of fries. Again, we are trying (but failing) to eat healthier. Decent quantities, thank you. All of which were good. On this visit, my bread was "normal." Not rock hard like on my first visit in 2023. Atmosphere - Two entrances. We chose to come in from the back part of the lot today. Drive thur available, but then how will I take my Yelp pictures? LOL. A long narrow parking lot, another reason to come in from the back to avoid poor drivers. It is best to park further from the entrances, as it can get congested with the parking and the drive thru exit. Indoor and outdoor seating. Service - The cashier was so friendly, but today it was VERY loud so I could not hear her talk?!?! There were 3 registers going, and because we were ALL next to each other, everyone was trying to talk over each other and was almost yelling?!?! As for speed of service, it was slightly quicker than a "normal" In N Out. But we know and do not mind that we have to wait as food is made to order. Fresh, fresh, fresh. Price - $17, inexpensive and of great value. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1948 with your 424+ locations in 10 states and still keeping it within the family!! Their burgers are the freshest and at this price point, nothing comes close! I would venture to say that some restaurants can't beat their burgers! Their burgers use fresh ground beef, all the veggies are super fresh. I usually get the hamburger (no cheese because this girl has to watch her figure), with regular onions and peppers. I like their regular fries! My family likes fries animal style. The line can be looong but they do the best they can, always with a smile! Their decor is retro fast good aesthetic with lots of red and white gingham print. Every restaurant has a similar vibe, down to the palm trees out front!

The drink machine is self-serve and this outfit has their own regular and low cal pink lemonade, which I tried and is good.

This place has some history for me. Many a Friday night, when I was the Defensive Coordinator for Lincoln High School, I'd find myself here. The menu has plenty of good options, there's outdoor seating, and the staff is genuinely working hard. They're multitasking like their lives depend on it, so every once in a while you may need to repeat your order. But honestly, I'd rather see people working hard and trying to take care of everyone than standing around looking bored. Parking can be a bit challenging, too. Consider it part of the dining experience--your appetizer is finding a parking space. So why only four stars? The wait. We waited about 20 minutes for our food. It wasn't terrible, but when you're hungry enough to start considering whether ketchup packets are technically a meal, 20 minutes feels like a lifetime. That said, the food was really good, the staff was friendly, and there's a genuine sense that people are working hard to make this place successful. Bottom line: Great burgers, excellent milkshakes, a solid menu, friendly people, and a little nostalgia thrown in for free. I'd absolutely recommend giving this place a try. Just remember: bring your appetite, a little patience, and maybe say your order twice. Four stars--and I'll definitely be back.

You can just tell that either they have so much business they don't care much about service or they're just not quite sure how to dial everything in to balance the front of house and kitchen delivery. If I have any specific suggestions to offer: tell your customers upfront about your kitchen wait times. Nobody wants to wait an hour for breakfast food. Make sure to follow up with your customers and ask them if they want anything else to drink besides water it seems like a really easy way to make extra money.

The flourless brownie was definitely my favorite of the two. It was rich, chocolatey, and had that creamy texture that you want from a good flourless brownie. It was a good size, too! The inside is cute but be prepared to get cozy with only a small amount of space to sit. Thankfully, they also have some outdoor seating if you want to hang out and enjoy your pastry there. I didn't get a picture of indoor or outdoor seating because they were a good amount of people enjoying their dining experience. I guess they know where the goodies are! Here! Overall, I liked discovering this little spot. Between the pastries, croissants, artisanal breads, and other goodies for sale, there was plenty to look at and definitely a few things I want to come back and try... and I'd for sure grab another one of those flourless brownies!

We love this McDonald's. The staff is always helpful and this location reminds us of how McDonald's use to be back in the day. I love that this location welcomes those with disabilities. We always see groups hanging out there, and we think that's fantastic. This is a very busy location so I imagine most of the reviews come from those who pass through Auburn and are in a hurry. This is a small town so it's perfect for our community. It isn't built to accommodate huge rush hours like other locations that has 2-4 ordering windows. Most of the locals here don't use Yelp because they tend to base it on personal experiences regardless of reviews. However, it's still unfortunate because everyone here has been SO nice and accommodating so we hope those with great experiences help to balance out all the negative reviews on here. They always make our food fresh when we ask and they've never given us a difficult time whenever we ask for extra sauces unlike other locations. We can appreciate the little things. On our end, we will continue to come back since our experiences have always been fantastic. Keep up the great work! read more

Wink-wink, hint-hint. Yet, knowing full well I must ALWAYS constantly remind myself ONLY inhaling organic in order, maintaining excellent health and maintaining my "girlish" figure: HOWEVER and despite my human weaknesses, I must wholeheartedly admit--"Tonight, I'm waaay too lazy cooking for myself and by the time I drive to my humble abode, it will be 10:00 PM, i.e., too late eating ANYTHING . . .
