Snack time to prepare for our night drive through the snow storm so we can ski tomorrow morning! Quality/Quantity - Medium Fries - Fries are my weakness... And MCD makes some of the BEST fries! Happy Meal - Not sure why my buddy got this, I know we just wanted a snack. Maybe he also wanted a toy??? Atmosphere - Cool decor throughout, see pictures. Drive thru available. They do quite a bit of mobile orders at this location. I guess that is better than drive thru? Mobile orders require the customer to come inside and pick up their food. Open 7 days a week from 5am to 10pm. Plenty of parking. Free wifi, I did not use it. Service - Self service kiosk, the payment machine on the kiosk did not work. The employee at the register took care of me. Self service soda fountain, for my buddy's happy meal, lol. Price - $4+ for medium fries. Expensive but so worth it. The small is just not enough, just a tease! Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success at this location since 1954 and thanks for always being here for us for our breaks. Congrats on all your success since 1940 and being a part of the S&P 100. As of 2020, McDonalds has the 9th highest global brand valuation. If you have not seen the movie "The Founder," you definitely should. :)

The service here is excellent--everyone was so kind and welcoming. The fries were freshly made, perfectly crispy, and served hot. I'd definitely dine here again!

I usually enjoy McDonald's but it depends on who is working there this location is always bad if I have time I go to the one in Roseville but today I didn't and I was disappointed gave me a half full mocha

My expectations of McDonald's food quality have been scanty for oh-so-many decades. Whenever the company sparks an all-too-rare advertising campaign hyping new & improved food, my response is, "So you admit that you just keep raising prices while neglecting quality." Yet, McDonald's Auburn (Lincoln Way) is a must-stop from I-80 on the way to and from Reno; good for a pit stop, and capable, efficient workers cooking and fetching truly reliable-quality French fries, one of the few McD's menu items in which I have a scintilla of confidence--and even then... Some fries at this store have come out limp, but most have been packed in the box vertically, halfway crispy, and always hot. Imagine paying $3.79 for large fries and receiving anything less. Requesting "no salt" insures the crew will make them new. In the car it's fun to empty them into the paper bag, add salt and pepper from packets in the glove box, and shake-shake-shake. McD's does have edible breakfast items and fried-chicken choices, but once you get past the bargain menu, you're liable to be sticker-shocked: The counter guy quoted me $5.59 for a Big Mac sandwich-only, which never appeared on the digital menu board. The meal, which is shown, costs $9.09. Fully aware of inflation adjustments, I never could have afforded McD's during college days if Big Macs had been proportionately priced. I can also attest that the company's product was better 50 years ago.

The food has been always been top-notch and the service is fantastic. The wait staff is professional, well trained, and a pleasure to deal with especially Anne Marie. I have only one complaint. Last week when we went for breakfast on Sunday, we were told that they no longer have their housemate hollandaise sauce. We've been having salmon Benedict's there for years and their hollandaise sauce is absolutely fantastic. Canned or packaged holiday sauce is not going to cut it. You never ever change the menu when you have such a a great thing going for you. I think that they have rectified this problem. I sure hope so because I don't know where else I would go for breakfast. Bring back the housemate hollandaise sauce! This place is too good and has been so good for years to mess it up with a silly change like that.

I saw some pancakes go by and the name "Awful Waffles" makes my VEGAN self a little envious. Happily, I had enough to choose from that gave me some VEGAN friendly option! It had a touch of spice and was garnished with celery, a green olive, a spicy green bean, pepperchini, a lime, and a pearl onion. For lunch, we decided to order of the weekend specials menu! I ordered the Carnitas & chorizo Huevos Stack and she ordered the Chicken Fried Steak Dip... service was good. While we waited for our food, my client had to use the restroom twice. From where we were sat, it was quite a long walk, but it was an accessible ramp she was able to use since she has a cane. The steps would've been too much for her. When our meals arrived... both were stunning. My huevos Stack was not all it was cracked up to be. Although they had great crispy tortillas underneath, it had a lot of other soft foods on it that didn't give it much texture. Refried beans, over medium eggs, pico de gallo, red enchilada sauce, and not much meat on it to go around the plate to even it out. Dianne's Country Fried Steak Dip looked and tasted like it was created by someone that knows their breakfasts! Between 2 slices of parmesan toasted bread, there was a thin country fried steak, with over medium eggs, cheese, and BACON!!! And a side of gravy to dip into. That was a million times better than the huevos Stack! So I politely asked our server if I could switch to that special. She got the order in right away and it was out fast. Every bite had the perfect amount of flavor and their sausage gravy tasted insanely good! Both my client and I went home worth half of our meal. She was so happy and it melted my heart that I helped her have an amazing birthday. With the help of Awful Annie's, they helped her birthday become a home run!!! Delicious bloody Mary's, double delicious on our Country Fried Steak Dips, and fine service from the best in town! Thank you Awful Annie's!!

Happy Easter everyone!…read more Today, my daughter and I went out to breakfast here at Sweetpeas. It is located off the freeway on the corner of Bowman and Luther roads. There was plenty of parking when we pulled in. As you walk in, you seat yourself. I hadn't been here before, but my daughter has. When we sat down (table and chairs kinda place), one server got us a couple of waters while we were looking over the menu.. perfect, because that's what we love to drink. After we decided on what we wanted I got a chance to look around at the decor on the walls. It felt very family friendly with baby pictures on the walls, signs, coffee mugs along the restaurants name spelled out on the wall. It was very cute and cozy. My daughter ordered the Carnitas Omelet (Carnitas omelet with jack cheese, black beans, red onions, avocado, and black olives, topped with sour cream. Served with sourdough toast and fresh fruit) with strawberries. I ordered the Huevos Ranchero's with eggs over medium (Corn tortillas, refried beans, 2 eggs, sour cream, avocado, homemade salsa, and cheese cheese. Also served with a side of salsa.) We didn't wait long, it arrived within 10 minutes. Also, after smelling their delicious coffee, I had to have a cup! A+!!!! My daughter let me try her Carnitas Omelet. Their Carnitas is on point! It was tender and has great flavor! Her omelet was beautifully cooked, being that it was gorgeous, yellow and fluffy. My Huevos Ranchero's was crispy in the bottom as I requested. I love the topping of avocado. The only thing I would change is to get all the salsa on the side. There was quite a bit on the Huevos Ranchero's themselves and it was a little overwhelming. Next time, I'll order it completely on the side. The menu has it listed as homemade... it tasted a little bit like it was Pace chunky salsa. I didn't even touch the side of salsa that also comes in the side and I wasn't sure what the extra side of tortillas was for, but I took those home. My daughter took home about half of her 3 egg omelet and some toast. Maddy was a great server. Everyone helped each other out by doing coffee refills for all tables (not just their own), running out hot food, and helping clean up tables as people finished their plates. Great team work! We paid up in the front and we're on our way. BE SURE TO TIP YOUR SERVER FOR ALL THEIR HARD WORK!
