WOW, I am so behind on an update. As you can tell from my excessive pictures, we are regulars here. I guess since I am on the road a lot now, it is my "comfort" travel food. Quality/Quantity - Always consistently good. Which is the secret to creating a GREAT company. Got my usual cheeseburger and got one for my guests. And of course, fries. Atmosphere - Always consistently good. Parking is a challenge so good thing I like to walk. We park on the other side of the lot, walk in and always order to-go,. Service - Also consistent like always. Speed of service is why I usually do NOT shop In-N-Out. Recently, service has been fast. Price - $12 for two cheeseburger and fries that is made fresh after you order. You cannot beat this! Reasonably priced, actually inexpensive. 3/6/2026: It's been almost five months since, I inhaled ANYTHING at In-N-Out Burger, i.e., In-N-Out Burger, Stockton Road, Elk Grove CA was the last location I inhaled a non-organic burger, fries, and a lemonade. FYI: Ironically, there's an insatiably enticing, In-N-Out Burger Establishment just seven football fields from my humble abode's location! Seriously, I've been actively thwarting eating ANYTHING non-organic with the exception, recently inhaling Anchors Fish And Chips' seafood combo located in Roseville and of course, I mustn't forget mentioning immediately vacuuming Shake Shake's decadent chocolate shake located at Roseville's Galleria Mall's location located on the second floor . . . Wink-wink, hint-hint. Yet, knowing full well I must ALWAYS constantly remind myself ONLY inhaling organic in order, maintaining excellent health and maintaining my "girlish" figure: HOWEVER and despite my human weaknesses, I must wholeheartedly admit--"Tonight, I'm waaay too lazy cooking for myself and by the time I drive to my humble abode, it will be 10:00 PM, i.e., too late eating ANYTHING . . . We love some In-N-Out burgers. Food was freshly made, fries were yummy. Service was quick. Tables were dirty, both myself and the person next to us had to wipe our own tables off, not a huge deal but it wasn't very busy inside (Tuesday at noon). read more

This is the second time that if I get my burger with pickles that I did not order with pickles instead of remaking the burger, they decide to take the pickles off and give it back to me. The whole burger taste like pickles. I've been a loyal customer for over 20 years going multiple times a week. This location is horrible and by far the worst location from San Francisco to Sacramento I've never had more issues than at this location... super sad read more

This I-n-O is kept well. The young gentleman who took our order was polite and welcoming. He read our order back to us to be sure the order was correct. While waiting, we noticed that the restaurant was clean and there was almost always an employee on the floor, cleaning, assisting customers, clearing tables, etc. The food was on par, hot, and exactly what we ordered. read more

Went in pretty late to use the restroom and ended up grabbing a single burger with no tomato. Bathrooms were clean during this time. As soon as 10:15PM hit a wave of people came in to order. oh wow man. i absolutely just love in n out. for $9 i got this big ahh 4x2 with toasted buns, pickles, grilled whole and diced onions. it was just so delicious man. nice grilled flavor. juicy burger. nice toasted crispy bun. in n out always got nice employees too. 4x2 a lil overkill tho ngl. prob would never order it again and just get a double double. but yeah man i love in n out. man even their water cups were hella good bro read more

We had ordered our food and everything was going well up until we got number 67 as our order nothing crazy it happened, but we were very excited for our order number to be called. More than 15 kids were waiting for her to say number 67 and did she speak it aloud no, she mumbled it under her breath. Yes, mumbled it under her breath. How dare she? They have member walking around checking to see if you need anything. Food is great as usual and they even tell you about options from the hidden menu. Although their prices are comparable to Chiles and Applebees I like seeing my burger and fries being freshly prepared in the windows. full transparency, speedy service with no gratuity. I get psyched up in my mind while I'm impatiently waiting 25 minutes in the drive thru, practically drooling and giddy, imagining a hot, juicy and saucy In-N-Out burger. Yet they miss the mark of perfection and I get a warm burger light on the sauce heavy on the salt. Fortunately, this location, to date, has the best splurge In-N-Out piping hot, juicy and very saucy burger around Placer County. It's worth the drive. read more

I am an in-n-out fan and go to this location quite often. This time as I'm sitting in the drive thru line I watched as one of their female employees walked around coughing (not a big deal), I then watched this same employee wipe her nose on her glove and not take the glove off then handled food. This location doesn't usually disappoint me but the fact that a careless employee can go around spreading their sick germs into everyone's food is absolutely disgusting and should be handled by management. I will still likely return but the blonde female in the food cooking area with her hair in a small tight bun needs to be at least written up for creating contamination and borderline a biohazard. I love inn and out but they got my order wrong last time I went. I ordered a double single and the guy told me the it's like a double double but it has two meat patties and one piece of cheese so I ordered that with extra grilled onions and when I got my food it was literally only the buns, sauce, a piece of cheese, and one piece of meat. There was no lettuce of tomato's and my other piece of meat was missing. I would suggest in and out but CHECK YOU ORDER AND GET THE RECEIPT! The food is always good and the employees are always really friendly. Great location! Also they have outdoor seating hiding on the side that I love to eat at when the weather is nice. No complaints here - the food was good, we were able to snag a table outside in the shade, my friend's kid discovered her love for milkshakes and French fries, lol. I'm a truck driver and walked in at 12:45 so 15 minutes before they closed and ordered my food to go, I understand that it was close to closing time but when you're craving in n out and super happy to make it before they closed and get back to my truck to discover the hardest refried fries that I never would've expected from in n out was very disappointing to say the least. read more

This is my first time coming to this In-N-Out Burger location at the time when dine-in still not open due to the COVID-19. So drive-thru order only. This location does a very good job of the traffic controls. The employees also give me a happy feeling when I'm waiting on the line and waiting for the food. I will rate them five stars based on the location and the services. However, the beef in the burgers is very salty compared to all the other IN-N-Out Burger locations. I have to take one star out of my rating! I don't know this is only on that day or they're always saltier than the other In-N-Out locations. I will update my review next time when I am there. This afternoon I came here with a friend for the first time at this location. The building looks newly painted and it's huge, probably the nicest location I have been to thus far! The staff were very friendly and quick, despite the long line out to the street, man what a happenin location! They took our order at the car and we drove up to the drive through window, my friend ordered a diet coke, Animal Style Fries and a Double Double Animal Style, she is said it was all really good! I ordered a Animal Style Cheeseburger and fries, the burger was amazing, so flavorful with the grilled onions, juicy tomato, melty cheese and soft buns mm love how they offer the secret menu, fries were alright, I prefer thicker cut fries myself! Please fill the shakes up. In-n-Out has been getting "cheap" on filling their shakes despite reassuring prices. Not close to the top. I love in and out, it's my favorite burger joint. On our way down from Tahoe we made sure to stop by to grab a bite to eat and give my son a stretch break. Through we came on a Sunday a little after lunch this location wasn't very crowded which was nice. We decided to eat outdoors. The outdoor seating is right off to the side of the building slightly tucked away. I got the usual double double with well done fries. The burger came out perfect, but they sadly gave us regular fries instead of the well done ones. Reading previous reviews it looks like this is a regular occurrence here.
