I would've liked a little more chicken to make the salad feel heartier. I was still hungry after eating it. My husband got their Spicy Tuna sandwich, and he enjoyed the flavor & textures. Came here for a quick, healthy meal after a weekend of skiing. The menu looked great, though definitely overpriced for what you're getting. I decided on the Choco Açaí Bowl since it seemed like the best value. I ordered last after my two friends, and we grabbed a table outside, which was a nice setup on a gorgeous sunny day. My friends got their sandwiches first, and about 10 minutes later, the waiter brought out their smoothies, apologizing for the wait. At this point, it should've been obvious that the third person at the table (me) was still waiting on food, but no effort was made to check on my order--especially frustrating since the place wasn't busy (only about two other customers). By the time my friends finished eating, I still had nothing, so I went inside to check. The cashier looked surprised and said, "Oh, they haven't brought you your food yet?" then quickly grabbed what seemed like a pre-made to-go order of my açaí bowl--despite my request to dine in. At that point, I had to eat on the road since I didn't want to hold up my friends. Getting your order forgotten is one of the worst dining experiences--frustrating, inconvenient, and honestly humiliating. So here's the deal: the açaí is good, big, and loaded with toppings. I got the North Shore with peanut butter on top, which was exactly what I wanted, fruity, savory, and filling. But you're gonna have to take out a loan to get this bowl- mine was almost $20. This is the cost of a close and delicious post-hike snack. The kids working here are nice, even though it can take a while to get what you ordered. I've been before and it's taken a half hour. We've come here many times and in the beginning it was wonderful. But over the past months the service and the food has gone downhill quite a bit. The quality of the food is still top notch, but there is generally something wrong with the order every time. If you ask for something to be left off, they will leave it in. Ask for something to be added, they will leave it off. I so badly want this place to do amazing because the potential there is through the roof. But without a staff that has been trained, or that cares about customer service, it's going to be tough. I don't think we will be back since this is the 4th bad experience in a row. read more

We ordered at the counter, then sat out front due to the smoke inside. I got the reg size Green Goddess juice $11, and my sisiter went with a reg size Nuts for Choc smoothy $11, and we split the Turkey Club sandwich on SD $16. My juice was good, my sisters smoothy was rather bland so she didn't even finish it. The turkey club was good but it would have been nice if they would have included some chips for the price. I wasn't too happy that the same girl running the register was also making my juice, since I didn't notice her wash her hands before picking up all the diff fruits, and veggies. It seemed like they only had 2 people working, which wasn't working out very well since orders were backing up as she would try and run the register and make drinks. I just love this place!!! The food is always delicious - such fresh ingredients and fun flavor combinations. Smoothie bowls, sandwiches and breakfast bowls are just delicious! I usually come on my own and today brought my family - all four of us devoured our meals and declared we'd be back together. My kids split a strawberry lemonade and it was incredible! Also it should've been called a tomato sandwich, because there was barely any tuna, but a gigantic tomato that overtook the sandwich. Didn't realize the bowl i ordered only came in the large size (my fault) but it was also an extra $1 for a tiny pinch of cacao nibs so total $19 Pitaya bowl. Service was ok. The servers pretended they didn't see anyone as customers would enter but instead kept chatting amongst themselves. Still unsure why it took almost 20 mins to make a smoothie bowl even though there was barely anyone in the cafe. Great açaí bowls. Really slow service. Husband and I dropped in for a weekday lunch around 1 pm. There wasn't a line to order and maybe 6 people in the restaurant. I ordered the blue dream açaí bowl and my husband ordered a turkey club sandwich. The cashier told us she'd bring out the food once it was ready. Around 20-30 minutes later, we still had not received our food so my husband went to check on it. The cashier checked in the back and it apparently had been sitting there ready. I really enjoyed my bowl; super tasty, filling (for the smaller size), and with lots of ingredients I probably wouldn't find myself. My husband's turkey club looked pretty good although IMHO it's a little pricey for a sandwich. After dining in, I read some more yelp reviews and found that the long wait time was pretty common. I wouldn't suggest coming here if you're on a schedule or starving, but I would recommend an açaí bowl! read more

I came here with a friend who recommended trying out this place. They have a very diverse menu and selection from smoothies to acai bowls to standard breakfast items like french toast. We opted to sit outside after placing our order since it was nice out. The food took a little while to arrive, but not too terribly long. I believe everything here is vegan as their whipped cream alternative is made with coconut milk. So what didn't I like about this place, you might ask? Honestly, it just seemed like a bit of a money grab. Generally, when you're paying with a credit or debit card, there will be a tipping option of 10% and up, but the only option here was 15%, 20% and 25%, which I thought was a bit odd, but ok. They asked me if I wanted whip on my chai latte, so I said sure, why not. I ended up getting their french toast, which was pretty reasonable for $10. My friend's acai bowl was $13, which I thought was a tad pricey to be perfectly honest. I later decided to ask for whip cream for my french toast and the woman said sure, it would be extra though. So I said sure, no problem, assuming it would be like 75 cents or so for the little butter sized container they brought. No, it was $1.75! For a tablespoon size of whipped cream. Seriously?!! She already brought it out, so I felt obligated to just hand her the cash. So fast forward to my friend and I packing up and leaving, I decide to ask for a to-go container for my chai. Not only did I have to wait around forever because no one was at the front register, but she literally just handed me a plastic cup and walked off. No lid or anything...umm okay, I guess. It was fine until I got home and was trying to grab my groceries at the same time and ended up spilling it all over myself of course. And to top that off, I decided to check on my receipt for the chai latte since they surprised me with the $1.75 for extra whip cream for my toast and sure enough, they charged me an additional $1.75 for whipped cream on my chai. When I ordered it, I was never told there would be an additional charge. I was just asked if I'd like whipped cream on top and said sure. So with the obligatory 15% tip I left after I first ordered, I ended up spending a total of $21.75 for ONE PERSON for just french toast and a small chai. The food and drink were good, but I wasn't pleased at all with the service or the shady money grab scheme. I know vegan eateries tend to be slightly more expensive, but $1.75 for a tablespoon of whipped cream was just ridiculous. At LEAST make it transparent on your menu that it's extra and how much. read more

I had the BLTA (bacon, lettuce, heirloom tomato, and fresh flavorful avocado, a little aioli, on a 7 seed/grain bread, lightly toasted). My mom got the Avocado Caprese Salad with a grilled chicken add-on. Wow! Her salad looked amazing with a drizzle of olive oil and aged balsamic.
