Horrible food. Terrible customer service. My previous review which went more into details was removed by Yelp.

Boy, do I have a story. I've lived in Apache Junction my whole life, and I've been coming to this McDonald's even before they remodeled it. I never really had a problem before and if I did I'm not the type of person to go to the manager and complain. Today, I really wanted to. Today I went through the drive thru, because I was on my lunch break and I just needed something fast. I was ordering for a few people, but it was nothing huge or complicated. When I get up to the intercom I was waiting for about five minutes before anyone ever answered. When someone finally did I was met with a, "What can I get you?" Short, quick, and to the point. So I said, "Hi, can I get a double cheeseburger MEAL with extra pickles and a large sprite?" So she responded, "Okay what size are the fries and you said large coke right?" "Large fries and I said Sprite, actually" "Okay, that'll be $6 at the first window." "Uhm, I wasn't finished ordering yet." "He can help you at the first window." Confused, I drove up to the first window and the guy smiled at me and said, "Hello, $6 please." And I replied, "She didn't let me finish ordering." And then he proceeded to help me complete my order. As far as I knew, everything from this point on was going to be okay. So the lady at the intercom was a little annoying and rude, oh well, at least my food was ordered now. Well, I thought so anyway. When I get up to the second window I'm greeted by another guy. He handed me my drinks by shoving them through the drive thru window and awkwardly giving them to me and then handed me the tiniest bag. I looked at it and thought, "No way all the food I ordered is in here." But before I could even check it to make sure, the guy placed the person behind me's order in window, blocking me from seeing him at all. So I figured he didn't care if I needed anything else and I drove to the front of the restaurant to check the bag. They had forgotten a few things, as I already guessed. I looked at the receipt and was upset to see that none of the things were even on the receipt. The intercom lady didn't even make my first order a meal like I had said. A little miffed, I walked inside and there were only a few people in line, so I just thought, "okay, I'll order these few things and just be on my way." I stood in line for ten minutes. When it was finally my turn, I ordered just the large fries because I couldn't wait any longer. I stood there waiting for my fries to come out for another 10 minutes. The employees were all running around like chickens with their heads cut off. There was one employee just standing at the register staring at me, and there were no other people in line. I wanted to speak to a manager about my experience but thought that there was no point. Instead, I decided to write a bad review on yelp later, and now here I am. Long story short, this was one of the most entertaining yet irritating experiences I've ever had a McDonald's and I'll probably just go the Arby's next door from now on. Their food is better anyway and well worth the price increase. read more

If I could give 0 stars I genuinely would, I came in after work of a longggg shift for my frappe and cookies had an online order TL25 on 04/25/2022 @ 10:47pm, when we got to the window my grandma wanted a cheeseburger and drink so we asked to get that and she goes ughhh like with an attitude because we wanted to place an order other than the mobile one my grandma ended up wanting something and then I asked her why she was being so disrespectful and she implied that we were holding up the line even though when we pulled up it was empty and she was the one holding up her own line, I was gonna get some fries for myself, but had her cancel them and even though we told her before swiping my card she still swiped it anyways and charged me for the fries, the amount of disrespect this girl had was bizzare and as we drove away she's like thanks for holding up my line. I've never dealt with anyone so disrespectful at this location and it is my go to sadly I will no longer do business here she should be fired for her attitude and rudeness I understand we have long days but I'm sure I worked a longer shift and I just wanted me and my grandma to have some food in our stomachs and she was just being so ignorant had I kept the recipe I'd tell you her name she was the white girl running the drive through around the time I placed my mobile order. I've never experienced such unprofessional customer service. Yuck read more

Aw come on, how hard can it be? Two Big Macs no middle bun. They repeated it when I ordered, they repeated it when I paid, they told me to drive around front to get my order. I got home......two Big Macs NO BUN AT ALL and cold nasty fries. I rarely go to McDonalds and I hate myself every time I go and this is why. I never have this problem at jack in the box. I wonder if they can make a Big Mac? After having to suffer with this place in our town, I'd say it's time to bull doze it under and put up an In-And-Out Burger. For the countless time, I purchased my kids hotcakes and sausage. The food was cold and came with one syrup and salt and pepper packets. It's unbelievable how the employees of this McDonald's treat customers. Really bothers me that you would give kids this and be satisfied. read more

I just waited in the drive through for 25 minutes for an already paid for mobile order that was supposed to be ready by 12:18am we FINALLY got our food at 12:57am and NOT ONE PERSON CAME TO THE WINDOW! I do not understand how this place stays in business with all these horrible reviews. Terrible horrible ridiculously slow service and NO COMMUNICATION WHATSOEVER. I usually order online thru DoorDash or for pickup. The past few times that have forgotten to put straws, napkins or other condiments in the bag. There is always a long line in the drive thru that never moves. read more

Had to go through the drive through for the buy one get one free happy meal. Get to ordering and state that deal. Lady did not ask me for a code and kept rushing me through my order. Went to pay and gave them the code, but the price didn't change. Told them that the price didn't change and she responded with "I know". WTF! All 4 happy meals are the same price. Not one was free. Last month the drive through gall yells at me because i was taking too long and they were "real busy". I explained that was trying to undo the seat belt so i could reach the debit card machine by but was told i should have been ready Before before pulling forward. Today i pulled forward a fat as i could and get yelled at because i didn't i undo my seat bell belt. Can't ain. Jack is just down the street. Plus they serve their breakfast items all day. read more

It's actually quite comical coming here to see the bad reviews. They did not disappoint. In 2016 when we left the area for a little bit, the food at this location, along with the customer service was pretty good. Rarely had any issues. We have been back now for over a year and wow!!!!! What the hell happened? Shift in management? Is a 4 yo running this location? The first visit back, the kid handing us our food had the dirtiest fingernails. Black, like he had been working on cars... or something. Few other times it was the same as other people's experiences. Waiting at the intercom for 5 minutes when it's not busy, absolutely awful customer service, cold food, soggy food. One morning we had to leave early to run to the west side of the valley so we grabbed some breakfast. Cold, soggy hashbrowns, soggy ungrilled muffins for our sausage mcmuffins, cold cheese. It was just gross. No one was there and I'm pretty sure we waited nearly 15 minutes for our food. So disappointing. I don't know how the manager doesn't care. I've worked for subway and papamurphys (not here) and had amazing managers/owners who cared about our stores and hired quality employees. Regardless of it being fast food or not, you should take some form of pride in your work. We drive to either location off of Ellsworth now. I refuse to ever give them my money again. read more

I stopped on my way home for work to grab supper for me, ordered a fish meal with large sweet tea, fries and also got an apple pie. The tea was not sweet fish tasted like it had been sitting for a while and the fries and pie were not very fresh and hot. It made for a disappointing supper after working all day. read more

We order our food on the mobile app. When we get there they charged my card 2 times. When I went to talk to the manager she yelled at me saying they don't have control of the mobile app. After that I grab my bag it rips and the food went everywhere. They refused to remake our food and said I threw the bag but you can clearly see it ripped. Then the manager came outside yelling at me and called me a bitch. I refused to move because there was a car in front of mine who ordered A LOT of food but remained parked AT the window WITHOUT anyone telling THEM to move around to the front. I was asked twice and I nicely said "Nah, I can wait." The second guy that asked me to move looked like he wanted to say something to me but kept his lips pressed. Another 12 minutes to get to the dispensary window. Cold burger, cold and soggy fries, unsalted. Found five that were still semi-frozen. Pulling off flat soda was a stroke of genius to end this debacle. Thanks. Appreciate your employees demonstrating how they feel about your customer base. I have never been a fan of McDonald's customer service anywhere. I think that minimum wage going up, whomever is voting for that doesn't know, very on educated as far as to what exactly has to occur when we are paying these hi school students. $15 an hour when, at every single fast food place the orders are never correct, it's clearly always their first job, they have no respect. Why on earth would anybody vote for minimum-wage to go up? We're all it does is hurt the people like us no city called me going. Stop voting for minimum-wage to go up! Yeah at this particular McDonald's I was extremely surprised. A gentleman named Carlos was fast, friendly, accurate and most of all he simply knew how to do his job. He thought it would be frustrated customer and he dealt with it the right way if he is getting paid as much as these teenagers who just prefer to argue back and not give two shits about the job they are doing, if he was getting paid the same amount of money as them; there is truly something wrong in the world. I hope Carlos is getting paid more than all those brass schools that are working there. He can certainly teach him a thing or two and honestly should probably be managing the place because it is the absolute only reason why gave a five star, food was accurate, came out quickly and it's all because Carlos made sure of it. Because the first time it was going to come out it wasn't going to be accurate. Point is stop voting on minimum-wage to increase! This McDonalds is probably the worst in town. It's big and nice when it comes to interior, however I do have children and the playground is disgusting, and the employees there aside from the managers are careless for customer service. Even in that sense, the managers are still pretty grumpy and have a terrible attitude. I don't know about you, but when I go out to eat, whether with my family or solo, I like to be treated with respect and care while I'm trying to enjoy a descent, quick meal. Yuk. For the money you can get freshly made sandwiches or things like burgers at any number of private establishments for approximately the same money as McDonald's. McDonald's franchise operators have month royalties to pay, and this is the biggest factor to the increase in prices by 30 - 40%. I feel badly for the employees. read more

I love the APACHE JUNCTION McDonald's everyone is so helpful. Although I'm aware they're short staffed everyday. They try their best to make and bring out the food on time. They don't answer the phone so when u look up hours online it says breakfast ends at 10am. On the official website for the location. Yet when you get to the location it's 10:30am. They have three managers working and no one is able to answer the phone. You can serve breakfast all day long but can't serve lunch? Makes no sense!
