Now I'm a tell you a story! I was stopping for a pre-Dogshow Breakfast Stop and wanted quick no-fuss fast food. We hit McDonald's on our drives out to Palmer occasionally. I mean their breakfast biscuits and Egg McMuffins are reliable and consistent. So the line for the drive thru was long so I said I'll park and go counter, it might be faster. They just installed new order kiosks so I'm working their new order system and I see Steak Egg & Cheese Biscuit. Never in a drive thru had I seen it. Were they testing this New Item!? I grabbed 2 for Judy and I with hash-browns. Those are always consistent. First bites of the Steak, Egg & Cheese Biscuits and we were like What The !!! ... Our taste buds popped our eyes popped and we like were OMG it's SOOO GOOD! They have sautéed onions and a cream sauce on the steak and the steak is tender! No more Egg McMuffins for me! This is it! This is what you have to try! You are not going to believe it unless you get one for yourself! It's 5 Star Fast Food Breakfasts I now go out of my way to get! Oh yeah they finally added it to the outside menu board because like I said I don't know if it was a test but like 6 months later it was on the drive thru menu! 1320 Huffman Location: Every time I decide to give this location another chance they literally destroy me!! It's seriously a joke how terrible this location is. This time they gave my order to the wrong car after waiting at the parked drive through spots for 15 minutes because "they were still working on my order" when I got to the drivethru window. I took like a whole hour to get our food and when we got it, it ended up being cold. After we finished ordering it took them nearly another 20 minutes to get our final thing which was 6 cookies there were only 3 made, already we got fed up and said to just give us the three cookies and then the lady dropping one and we left with two. I'll give you a star because the ice cream machine was working. No containers for the McFlurry, so we waited, no big deal. Syrup was dripping everywhere and nothing was mixed. I'm glad my husband finished his shake so I had a container for my DIY McFlurry. I dumped it into another cup after trying to mix it in it's own cup. read more

I know- I'm reviewing McDonald's when I shouldn't even eat there...but this is one of the worst quality ones in town. I got dead fries during lunch rush. Cold stale fries. Yuck. Other food wasn't hot either. Not to mention for some reason they charge more at this location. South pride much? Every other happy meal in town... (trying to get all 10 Mickey and Minnie toys, every location here has 1 of 3, very annoying.) everywhere else in town it's $3.50 but here it's $3.90 for no reason. Look... it's not just you guys but you guys are the worst because your employees give attitude after I ask them to replace my ice cream cone. I don't understand why you guys don't teach your employees to use a paper napkin when making an ice cream cone. They touch money, the register, everything else and then they make a cone and touch the top of the cone with their fingers and you can see they touched it because that's how they give it to you. A lady explained to me that was not possible because that they come in pans of 15 and offered me a McMuffin. I declined and told her they have more calories. HORRIBLE SERVICE! We ordered a large fries, 2 medium fries and pull up to the window to pick up our food. The male passes us our bags and while we are checking it he instantly says with an attitude EVERYTHING IS THERE. We find the missing large fries and show him then he asks for a receipt and were trying to find it then he says you need to go back around because I can't do that here. Young man at the counter was very helpful. Restaurant was clean, bathrooms were clean. The coffee was hot and FRESH even though it was lunchtime! Food came out promptly and our order was perfect. Will definitely come back if I am in this area again. read more

When I think of McDonald's I think good FAST food, that was not the case at all. I came inside to order some breakfast with my boyfriend and we had to wait in line for ten minutes before an employee even came up to the front of the house to take orders. Finally we got out order placed and then sat down to wait. We waited at least another 15 mins before we started wondering where our food was. We had seen one of the female employees bring up small bags of food, she opened one of the bags to see what was in it and then just sat it down without even calling a number for it. At this time we were confused on why we hadn't gotten our food so I yelled over to the girl and asked her to please tell us the number so we could pick up our order if it was ours. After that she Proceeded to tell us what the number was and it ended up being our number. Mind you there was three other orders sitting up on the counter just waiting there that I never heard her call a number for while there was at least six people waiting to pick up an order. How in the hell are we supposed to know when to pick up our order if they don't tell us it's ready, this was very frustrating especially after walking in and not being acknowledged or helped for 10 minutes. I'm also almost 100% sure that those other orders that were sitting up on the counter were for people who were standing there longer than I was waiting in that lobby but didn't know that their food was ready because that women never called out their numbers. I thought my bad experience was done once I walked out of the place, but I was wrong. I ordered an iced caramel macchiato and when I took a sip it tasted like cold caramel milk absolutely no coffee taste at all so I looked at it in better light and it was literally just white milk with caramel, no brown coffee tint to it at all! It was disgusting and I threw it away at the nearest trash can. This is definitely not the place to get good fast food when you are in a rush or good food at all really. This is very upsetting because I will now be driving further away to another McDonald's just to get the service that should have been provided at the Huffman location. read more

Horrible !!! Been going here for 25 years.. the last 10 this place has been terrible. I usually will not come here and go out of my way to go to another location but I figured it was dinner time so I thought it should be fresh... wrong. I was thrilled when they started offering breakfast all day. I love a good Egg McMuffin any time, preferring it to a burger. This location messes up my order on a regular basis, and they ask if I want a receipt every visit. When I decline, I can count on something being missing from my order .... and I have no proof. Or they give us a sandwich with cheese on the biscuit, after I`ve requested one without .... and it is barely warm (could this be one that they made earlier and rewarmed or kept under the lights, to speed up the lunch rush??) I have often had cold hash browns and an English muffin with one side dried out and hard. I usually visit around mid afternoon, not during the busiest times, so there is no excuse for this. Today was the worst. I asked if they could please make me fresh sandwiches. I should have asked for fresh hash browns to go with it..... our hash browns were cold and stuck to the paper sleeve. They were also limp and undercooked .... not even slightly crispy. The sandwiches DID appear to be fresh however, and were made correctly. Worst location EVER!! read more

They can't ever get the order correct, then IF you can get them to answer the phone they offer to put you on a "list" but when you go back to get reimbursed they can't ever seem to find you on this so called list. The service was decent and the food was just as you would expect. Typical McDonalds food you would get most anywhere else. I do enjoy the smiling faces of some of the employees as you order and their politeness. However there are downfalls. The bathroom, for one, isn't very sanitary all the time. Sure the floors are clean, but the stalls are not. I wouldn't exactly trust sitting down and not catching some sort of disease. The tables are usually also sticky most of the time, as if they were never cleaned off properly or without care. The floors need to be cleaner, sticky soda spills lay rampant all over and dirt accumulates all over. Overall, the experience left me with wanting to get my food and go. The atmosphere wasn't at all what you would want in a dining location, but the food was okay. The employees were alright, though some of them obviously show signs of not wanting to be there. read more

This place is unbelievable! This morning about 7:00 am I'm eating breakfast, reading my newspaper and minding my own damn business. Then, a guy comes in from the parking lot into the dining area of the restaurant and asks the diners if they have cars parked alongside the building, and if so to go out and move them so he can park and unload his tractor / trailer rig (from Midnight Sun Transportation). He's apparently making a delivery to McDonalds. I'm a paying customer for God's sake! Why is he interrupting my meal? I'm on my time. Why am I the one who's being inconvenienced? Doesn't even deserve a star... just ordered from there a breakfast sandwich and a Denali mac. Both were messed up. Worst part was that the receipt stating what I ordered was correct.
