Okay--if you read my initial review below, I am happy to report that some things have improved in…read morethe past 1 2/3 years or so. Not everything, but... First of all, the customer service has improved greatly. At least the employees say thank you now, and generally with a smile. I do think that this store took a very long time to recover from staffing issues created by COVID and the "hangover" that followed. The recovery seemed inordinately long and that remains a mystery. I recall at one point that there was one person taking orders, cooking, bagging orders, and acting as the cashier. She was not happy most of the time and it was pretty easy to see why. (NOTE: if the persons leaving the negative reviews on this page returned for an updated visit, their minds might change a bit. Or not.) Again, I generally only order the breakfast croissant and the occasional Whopper Jr. (The Diet Coke is cheaper across the street at McD's--thus, although it is two stops, I save a couple of bucks. When one retires, every couple of bucks saved helps.) Other than that, the store is "typical BK." The store is quiet inside as the dining area is not used that often. I do wish that the dining room and especially the restrooms received some more attention in terms of cleaning; however, that is usually not part of my visit. I am generally a drive-thru person. Will I return? That answer is pretty much a certainty as it is the only BK in town.

The lady in front of me said she was there for 20 minutes, and no one had greeted her or said they would be with her in a moment. The drive thru was no better. PROS * The AC was…read morepumping cold air inside on a hot, humid day. * The young lady at the counter was polite. CONS * The staff worked reasonably well together regarding tone of voice, yes, thank you, etc. * The staff's efficiency could be improved. The order of 6 nuggets (the new dipping sauce promotion) plus one medium drink (yes, to give me the empty cup to fill myself) took longer than expected, between 12 and 15 minutes. A faster service would enhance the overall customer experience. * The polite young lady mentioned above missed my cell phone lying open on the counter to scan the "rewards points" QR code even though she had to reach across it to give me my tray. * I asked if it was too late to have the code scanned, and she didn't know. So she got her manager. "I don't know anything about the app, but I think that you now need to find the instructions on the app to email a photo of it. (True statement.) The scanner won't work once the order is closed out. SUMMARY * I will return very occasionally * The new sauced nuggets promotions are not worth spending your money on. I cannot recommend trying it.
