They offer sides of onion rings or mozzarella sticks, too. Soup and chili (get it with cheese, onions and sour cream) are always good here. There's a nice breakfast menu with pancakes, eggs, hash browns but nothing too fancy. It is quick, it is cheap and will let you get on your way without hurting your wallet. The call-in curbside service lately has been very convenient and the handwritten notes on the box made us smile--we even got a free extra bag of fries last time! Highly recommend!

The dining area often has food crumbs and debris on the floor, tables are frequently not cleaned properly, and the bathrooms are regularly dirty and poorly maintained. I'm also concerned about food preparation practices. The kitchen is visible to customers, and one cook works with a long goatee that is not covered by any type of beard restraint. Another employee is often visibly sweating while working around food. These are the kinds of details that make customers question the restaurant's attention to cleanliness and food safety. It's disappointing to see a longtime local favorite fall to this level. I hope ownership takes these concerns seriously because this restaurant used to be a place I enjoyed recommending. You couldn't even stab your fork into it. Now I've eaten here a number of times in the past. But never have I had fish that well done. I had a coffee but was never ever asked if I needed a refill. At 1 point the server was standing right at my table. I was holding my cup, which was over half empty, and they never asked if I wanted to refill. The bill with tip came to thirty eight dollars. Maybe that's why I haven't been here in a while. I worked at Long John Silvers for 3 years, back in the 1980's. I was the manager, and if I ever seen a piece of fish came out that brown, it would have went in the garbage. If you're feeling lucky someday, go ahead and give it a try. But don't blame me.
