Always fresh and fast. Great salad and sandwiches to choose from. Salads are full of extra goodies, greens and flavorful dressings. I like the pick 2 combos. The salads are huge, enough to share. I'd like a half salad if that's possible. Good tea to go with. Friendly service clears your table for you. Always clean and inviting. read more

McAlister's Deli - Pick Two - Sandwiches Near Me - Adrian, Michigan

This was a new experience. The food was quite tasty and sizable portions. Employees were very friendly. Dining room was clean. I plan on going back and trying some other menu items. I would recommend you trying this if you've never been here before. read more

Food ok, employee was cleaning vents where drinks are located. The food was ok. I had a hard time finding the chicken in the dumpling soup. When bringing up my disgust with an employee about the vent cleaning his response was , well the food is in the back. read more

McAlister's is a pretty good alternative for sandwiches, soups, salads and potatoes. I was happy to see it come to town a couple of years ago to add another option to the modest Adrian dining scene. I've visited half a dozen times now and found it to be consistently good. To comment in general, the location is very convenient just a short distance north on MI 52 from the US 223 intersection. The dining room has been comfortable, pleasant and clean each time we've been in. On our last visit, my wife and I both did our normal Choose 2 option. On this occasion, she had the Horseradish Roast Beef Sandwich and the Asian Crunch Chicken Salad. She was very happy with her choices. The portions were sufficient such that she was able to take away her sandwich for another meal. I had the Sweet and Smoky Chicken Sandwich and the Southwest Chicken Salad, which also proved to be a good combination. Our final bill including food, tax and a small tip (water to drink) was about $26 USD. That's a decent value and will keep us coming back for periodic visits. read more

The food is very good. Iced tea also especially good. Service is always quick. The Savannah chopped salad is my favorite.

It was good but I my personal opinion it was laking a little flavor not sure what but I will order again, and its a little expensive for what I got Jersey mikes is bigger and a little cheaper read more

Very good southwest salad and red beans and rice. Not suitable for meetings or gatherings due to the loud music but a good place for carryout. Also the rewards did not work on the app; I had to redeem them in the restaurant which was inconvenient. If the ambiance was improved and the app worked more efficiently, could be be a four or five star restaurant. While the manager was not particularly friendly (though he was efficient), the young associate was very friendly and helpful. read more

Love all of their sandwiches and soups. Their giant baked potatoes are AWESOME too. The tea and lemonade are excellent as well.

The food was great and they had great service. The environment was great and clean and it was like a 15 - 20 minute wait which is understandable. But it is expensive for 3 people. read more

Excellent food, friendly atmosphere & very affordable. I love the 1/2 soup/salad/sandwich options. Very clean & food was brought to the table quickly. read more

We visited last Saturday evening. It is a regular spot to meet our friends. As always, the food was delicious and the service amazing. They went above and beyond for us. Thank you, McAlister's! read more

Today, we ordered our lunches online due to having limited time. When my husband went to pick them up he was told he'd have about a 5 minute wait. For 25 minutes, he continued to wait for our food. No one came and explained anything during his wait. When the person finally came back to the window to give him our food, he asked what had happened. The person acted surprised at his question. He explained that someone else said it would be a short wait. This person laughed and said that was wrong information. He responded and she well we had a bus of students. So, our order no longer matters when it was placed earlier? After all that my son didn't get eat and had to go back to class before we got our food. To add insult to injury, the food was cold. The potatoes in my soup weren't even cooked through. No spoon was given for the soup either. Our sandwiches had a taste of propane gas. It was gross. We won't return here. It was super disappointing. But they did give us a sad sugar cookie for the inconvenience... read more

Was amazing when first opened! Went in there and ordered lunch and the cashier hardly said 2 words. I felt so uncomfortable! Overpriced for what I got and wasn't worth it! read more

The sandwiches are pretty good but I wish they put more protein on them. The baked potato was not good at all. The potato tasted like it had been cooked the day before. The iced tea is really good. read more

This place is still a hot spot for lunch. I arrived a little after one to beat the crowd. Service was quick and the food came quick. The sandwich comes with a side so I thought but was charged $2.99 for my side with my pop the total was $16. This is my second time eating here and both times they have been out of pop or tea. The over place was clean and everyone seemed to be hustling. The sandwich was good flavored and my soup was fair. The cost and the lack of beverages brings this place down a bit. read more

McAlister's Deli - Sandwich and soup - Sandwiches Near Me - Adrian, Michigan

Got the half and halfs. Mine grilled cheese and pecan berry salad, boyfriend got french dip and broccoli and cheese soup. My salad was decent 4 out of 5, grilled cheese was on ciabatta bread, odd but didn't taste too bad 3 out of 5. French dip was also pretty good 4 out of 5. Soup was inedible unfortunately. Thick mush, not soupy at all. Must have been sitting all day. We threw it away. 0 out of 5. Probably won't return due to the fact it was a bit over priced. I don't mind paying for premium taste but this wasn't it. Service was good. Drive thru was weird and decided to go inside and take out. read more

This is the first and only location I've tried, I do love a good sandwich! Everything tastes really fresh and the sandwiches have a lot of great flavor! The service was pretty good, wait time wasn't terrible. The drive through window is a bit strange, you order ahead of time and you pull up to see your name. It would be fine if you had maybe a QR or barcode to scan but the display monitor wouldn't work for us. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but not obnoxious for quality food. I really like the Mac & Cheese and the Lemonade is amazing! read more

I love the southwestern chicken and avocado salad. It's the only thing I've ever ordered. I'd eat it every week if I could. Chicken is tender, veggies are fresh. The salad dressing that comes with it is so delicious! read more

Generally the food is pretty good and service is snappy and pleasant. But please please get rid of those hanging lights over the counter where you order. You have to look through them to read the menu. Dumb. read more

Has to have the most abysmally bad service in all of Adrian, Michigan. Amazing food though

I've never gone here and got what I ordered. Always missing something or somethings wrong. It's a shame because the bill is never less than $40 and I usually end up with $20 worth of food. Food is good but not worth driving back and forth to get my moneys worth. I'm not exaggerating when I say this happens quite literally every single time I go. Panera never does me dirty like this. read more

The Italian sub was OK. They smothered it with Black Olives which I don't like. After picking those off the lunch meat was fresh and above average. The price was ridiculously expensive. A soda, small cup of Mac& Cheese and a footlong was over $20 and just not worth it. read more

Food is outstanding, service is stellar, and their pickup process is the best!! The staff is always friendly and helpful. They understand their product and take pride in their service. The restaurant is always spotless! read more

The sandwich was ok. The service and time waiting for food to be prepared was 20 minutes to long. Like most other food joints the lack of help will be there demise. Good luck read more

Service was okay. Food was not that good. Got the nachos and they didn't melt the cheese. All they did was put the shredded cheese on.

I placed an online order and was told it would be ready at 1:17 pm. When I finally received my food at 2:45 I was disappointed to see the majority of it was cold or absent all together. The staff was actually telling people it would be a better idea to go somewhere else as I stood there waiting for my food. Numerous people were cancelling or checking on their orders continuously and all were waiting at least an hour and a half after their pick up time. I understand things happen but this is sad. Not too mention they did not have numerous things on their menu. read more

Great food, easy to order online, and pick-up at window. I loved eating here when I lived in the south and I'm so glad they've made their way up to Michigan! I can tell they're ironing out some details getting started but their food was yummy and their customer service was great, too. read more

My new favorite spot! The food is amazing and the customer service is great everyone is so friendly and helpful.

Way overpriced. Almost $20 for a sandwich, soup, and small drink. It's good, but not almost $20 good.

Wow. Menu is great. Staff is always polite. Foods accurate and delicious. Since moving back to town this has become my favorite restaurant by far! read more

Worst experience ever. Was there on Friday 1/13/2023 around 6pm. Only had 3 other tables in there. Ordered a very simple meal and sat down at a table. in the mean time 10 other people ordered and received their order. After 35 minutes I went to the counter and ask the manager about my order and he was very confused. Got my order after 45 minutes of waiting and then they offered me cookie to compamsate my time. I laughed and went about my way. I will never set foot back in this restaurant again. read more

So glad to have this option. Super easy to online order with amazing customization. Everything I've tried so far has been great.

I LOVED this restaurant when it first opened with my favorite choice being the Savanah Chopped salad. It comes with 2 small cups of your choice of dressing which really should come with 3 because the salad is so big. So, the last 3 times that I've ordered this salad I thought that I'd been given a half order by mistake because the salad was so small. Nope! It's a full order they say, and Nope its no smaller they say. I say NOPE. The salad is a fraction of what it used to be with only 1 cup of dressing being more than sufficient now. Smaller portion is NOT worth the $10.00 plus cost....will NOT be going there again. I'm sad about that. read more
