Mancino's is a favorite for my wife. For what it is, I also think it's pretty good though I am not as big of an aficionado of their approach as she is. But I have to say that their pizza is as good as any I've had of that style. It's heavier on the cheese than I'd typically prefer but the cheese they use is not as rich as some. They also offer decent sandwiches but the pizza is almost exclusively what we get when we go there. Their location in what used to be the K-Mart plaza is a little sad as that strip mall is dying fast. What is left of it is only propped up by Staples. Their dining room is exceedingly simple and literally as devoid of elegance as I've seen in a commercial facility. But it is functional and has room for a few dozen patrons so it is not as much of an afterthought as one might presume. I surmise this helps keep their prices reasonable and I have to admit their value is pretty good. For less than $20, my wife and I can get a meal to share along with drinks and we typically have enough left over for lunch the next day. While it's not at the top of my list simply because pizza is not my go - to, it is good for what it is and it's simplicity and value are attractive. I can see why it is popular among the locals. read more

I love Mancino's in other areas, but this location isn't it. My toasted grinder was soggy and cold, and it was overall disappointing. Definitely going to Saline or the Ann Arbor location next time. read more

This was my first time at this location. I have been to other Mancino's, and I'm a huge fan of their grinders. Today I got the 9 inch roast beef combo one (it had roast beef, ham, turkey, and ,veggies topped with mayo) I ordered it at the counter and waited around 10 minutes. My grinder was nice and warm and cooked to perfection. I will definitely be back in the future! This location even served the grinders with a pickle! read more

I ordered nachos today. Requested extra cheese and cooked well done in the oven. I was disappointed that it certainly did not have extra cheese, was barely cooked, and it was more of a snack than a meal. It looked like something I would pay $5 at a street fair rather than the $10 that I actually paid ($8 + $2 tip). Can I have my tip back? Who ever prepared my meal doesn't deserve it. I usually go in to get something to eat after work about 2 times a week at around 7:30-8, food is always great and service is second to none One day I had the day off and took my family in with me to show them how great it was at around 11:30-noon and I was disgusted. First started with the worst service I've had, a bigger Hispanic lady and black lady, and then a younger girl were hiding in the corner by the sink acting like I couldn't see them, on their phones and I ended up having to say "hello anybody in here" really loud just to get waited on, then when she waited on me she had a nasty attitude and acted like she didn't want to be there and one of the girls acted like all she was worried about was how much money was in their tip jar. then the bigger woman went right to making W sandwich without washing her hands or putting gloves on!! No gloves or anything. When we got the food it looked like they just threw it all together and it tasted awful, tables weren't wiped down and it was overall an unpleasant experience. If I ever do return I'll only go when it's night time when the workers are friendly, always having a good time laughing and joking while working, and they actually care about the customers read more

Mancino's has possibly the best garlic cheese bread on the planet; this was true when I lived in Bowling Green ten years ago and it's true now. Their sandwiches are nothing to sneeze at, either. The bread is almost focaccia-like in texture, and the fillings -- at least the ones I've tried -- are uniformly good. The ham and cheese is probably my favorite, though the seafood grinder and Italian grinder are also good. Be prepared to go through a lot of water, though; between all the cheese and deli meats, the grinders pack a hell of a salty punch. They're definitely worth it, though. Their half-size grinders are almost as big as a Subway footlong, and they have daily specials on full-size grinders for $8.45 (as of this writing) that will probably serve most people for two meals. They do deliver but really only for catering-size orders. read more

Terrible service. I ordered grinders 15 mins before closing time. I got there right before closing time when they said the food would be ready and the doors were locked and lights turned off. I even called, but no one answered. Clearly they just took my order locked the doors and turned off the lights with no intention of providing me with the food I ordered. They could have just said they were closing, but instead wasted my time and outright lied to me. read more

I am thoroughly disgusted with the grinder I received. It looked as though someone had sat on it before serving. The bread was so soggy with the massive amounts of mayo that was used. The grinder had no order to the layering of ingredients meaning there was ham, turkey, lettuce, and cheese just randomly placed. This made the sandwich impossible to eat as everything was going everywhere. Not only was the product horrible, the service was unacceptable. The worker was screaming from the back of the kitchen asking me if I had an order. I was not about to scream back. They didn't have our order tagged so they were searching through other orders to find it. Once found, they didn't even cut a whole grinder for us. I had called to complain some time after and asked to speak to a manger. The girl that answered said they didn't even have one! .. until Monday when the boss came in. I want my money back. But the only thing they could do was a credit for another sandwich. Sorry but I don't want one nor do I even live here. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. read more

Just had the worst thing happen at this restaurant. Picked up a pizza that was ordered by phone. Looked good, tasted good, as usual BUT after my husband and I each ate a piece, grabbed another and I saw a HAIR in it. Thought maybe it was mine, but when I pick it up, IT WAS STUCK IN THE MELTED CHEESE. We went to return the pizza and get our money back. They stated "no refunds" but they would make us another one. We are not happy. my husband said ""um no, I don't want another pizza" Who would at that moment? I of course called to get the owners number."I cant give that to you." Can I speak to the manager on duty? "she leaving right now" Such terrible service. It makes me sad because Ive always liked the place but now I will probably never eat there again. read more

I tried Mancino's Club Grinder. It is one of the best sub/grinders I've ever had. I prefer Mancino's grinders over Subway or Quizno's. It is freshly baked and the serving portions are large. It is around $10 for a whole grinder which is plenty to eat in one sitting, plus taking some home. The drinks are self serve and it is a small restaurant. It is quiet and out of the way, not a lot of traffic noise nor noisey children. I haven't tried the pizza yet, but if it is anything like the grinder, it can only be good! read more
