We placed a carryout order on Sunday evening, told it would be ready in 30 minutes. We arrived 30 minutes later and the order somehow, did not get made. We waited an additional 20-30 minutes for your staff to prepare our food. We got home and found that our pizza dough was undercooked and the salad we ordered, the lettuce was wilted and soggy, like it was frozen. Not at all what we are used to getting from your restaurant. Been eating from here for years. So disappointed in our most recent visit. I'm not exaggerating, we purchased XL pizzas. It literally seemed like a large just spread out further into a XL. In addition, some slices had no sauce. I'm writing this so the store manager is aware. We will give it another chance. Hopefully it will be better next time. read more

Have always gotten this pizza for our very large extended family. Our service was always great! The staff works very hard! Tonight was a low. I ordered $80 worth of pizza and because our family has an allergy to green pepper, order 2 of our pizza's without green pepper. One of the pizza's was loaded with green pepper. I called back and spoke with the woman who took my order and explained about the pizza. She proceeded to tell me that I ordered the pizza with green pepper. I told her I specifically ordered no green pepper due to our allergy. She proceeded to tell Me I did order it with green pepper, but she was not going to argue. I said I have an allergy and I did not and would not order green pepper. Again she told me I was wrong. While my entire family listened she said they would remake the pizza and I could pick it up and proceeded to hang up on me. Long story short, my husband picked up the pizza that was not ready because it was never put in the oven, Come to find out the woman was actually the owner. She told my husband that I had ordered the green peppers. He to her he was with me and heard me order and she still insisted I had ordered the green pepper. So disappointed in the treatment. Can't believe an owner would have this amount of disrespect to a patron. They have a corner on the pizza market here. read more

Pretty pleased with this cute little pizza place. The dough is a mid western style, not to thick not to thin, but a medium, perfectly baked style, hand made crust, the sauce is nicely seasoned and they aren't shy with their fresh toppings. The Greek salad is great, so is the cheese bread. Delivery is fast and staff is friendly. Can't really go wrong here. read more

Would give a zero if possible. Went in to get my pizza and no one was wearing a mask. One kid was wearing a face shield but it was up high in his face doing absolutely no good at all. THEN he dropped a recipt on the floor got on his hands and knees and picked it up and went right back to flattening the pizza dough with his UNWASHED HANDS! Makes me wonder what else goes on in there. Will never ever by anything from Manitou beach Luigi's again. read more

Husband and I have ordered a few times from them. Each time, the staff was friendly and the pizzas were awesome. I hate pizzas that are more crust than toppings, so it was great to get one that had a good amount of toppings. In this small town, it puts the other pizza place to shame. read more

Just moved into the area. Had our first pizza last night. We had a thin crust cheese, double pepperoni, double green olive, and feta cheese pizza. Wow! We were looking for an alternative to our short road trips to Jerry's Pub (which is really not as great as it used to be). I thought 'there must be a really good pizza place out here. Summertime cottage areas always have a few good places.' We yelped a bit and found Luigi's! We got a flat crust pizza with pepperoni, onion, bacon and feta and it was superb, rivaling even our favorites at Wagon Wheel in Ludington, MI and Tippins Market in Saline. Home made sauce, really good crust, it is obvious that a lotta love goes into the creation of one of these works of art. Prices are very good. We ordered several different pizzas and cheesy breadsticks and while the sauce was good the crust was really bland. We have one pizza obsessed person and another with a black hole for a stomach that used to be a baker. Both only ate about half of what they normally would because while I wouldn't say the pizza is bad it's just not great either. I liked mine better than they did, but the bland and sort of flour-y crust surprised me, on multiple pizzas, I've never had crust quite like that. Everytime ive went, ive left a $5.00 plus tip. I quit going because the food wasnt up to par(eg. Salad being wilted and brown, sauishy soggy tomatoes, and the fish is better from gortons), or if i switched out items and paid to have it switched, it still wasnt prepared as ordered. I kept it simple this time, first time in a long time..... NO MAYO. Just Italian dressing. Guess what i got? Mayo, NO ITALIAN. I paid, gave a good tip in advance.
