Called MC Garage doors after I had an issue with the rollers being busted from my garage door. Called these folks up on a Friday @ around 5:30PM. Owner answered the phone and was very professional and told me he would be able to come out the same day and even gave me a window when he would arrive. He said he 'didn't have the heart' to charge me $89 to do a repair that wouldn't last, so we shook hands and he charged me nothing. Matthew is the owner. He responded to my call quickly, and came out the same afternoon. Our 20-year old garage door wouldn't close properly. He told me the motor was fine, but many of the door parts needed replacing, and he showed me specifically what to look for. I agreed with his price to replace the parts (which he had in his truck) and he was finished in about one hour. And the door goes up and down like a dream. Nice guy too. 22 years in the business. My wife and I hired Will of MC Garage doors to replace our side-do-side sliding doors with two overhead doors. Will did a thoroughly professional job including framing work to make the new doors compatible with the house exterior, and doing custom cutting and jiggering of existing framing and shelving to make everything work. My wife and I are very happy with mc garage doors. When I came home from work late one night, our garage door opened, got stuck mid-air and would not close. We called mc garage doors for emergency assistance. They (the owner Matt senior and another worker) arrived exactly within the time frame specified and went right to work. We had used this company a couple years back, with his son being the one who came the first time. The owner expressed his appreciation for the repeat business. After completing the job, he gave us the invoice outlining and explaining in detail the work done. I called MC because I have sliding garage doors that can be very difficult to open when its cold and I wanted some advice on what could be done. Matthew said he didn't handle that kind of old garage door, but he offered to come by and take a look anyway. In about a half hour he showed up, agreed that I didn't have too many options for other types of garage doors, sprayed some lubricant on the door - that actually helped a lot - and charged me nothing. The torsion spring on my garage door finally snapped after 15 years. Unfortunately it's not one that Home Depot or Lowe's carries. Out of the all the businesses I tried calling on a Saturday at noon from yelp, MC Garage Door's Matt was the only one to answer and showed up about 3 hours later. He did a good job replacing the spring, all ten rollers, two brackets, two drums, realigned my door, lubed all the hinges and rollers, and replaced two cables. He did a good job, cleaned up after himself, showed me all the used parts he replaced, and was fast. He's a one man shop and works 7 days a week. He suggested I get a garage door lube from Home Depot and spray the hinges once every 3 months for maintenance. Appreciated the good conversation, education, and quick response. Would definitely recommend and use again (but not too soon hopefully). read more

Horrible customer service! After I've paid them 255$ for basically putting few wheels back to rail, I found out one of the wheels doesn't really roll. I called them and got the response: "If you can close/open the door, then I don't care that some wheels don't roll", and called me stupid for asking to fix this. read more

Seems like an epidemic of broken springs. Very annoying and troubling when the garage door gives up. Matt was called late in the afternoon and was available the next day. He replaced both springs and added new nylon rollers which is a great improvement over the old metal ones. We then discovered that the motor drive was also defective after trying to open the door with broken spring. We needed one anyway. The next morning he was there with a new opener and switches.
