Since we were dining in, they gave us a table number and we placed it in the holder so staff know where to bring the food. Our order didn't take very long to arrive to our table, just about 10 minutes. After finishing your meal, you bus your own table. The menu has options for burgers, hot dogs, fries, salads, shakes, floats, and desserts. I ordered a Yellow Label Burger ($13.45) and a Strawberry shake ($6.75). My husband and I shared a Farm Salad ($9.75). The Yellow Label Burger comprises of USDA Prime Beef, homemade fried mac n cheese patty, lettuce, tomato on a potato bun. This was delicious! I liked how after biting into the crispy, breaded exterior it gives way to a hot, molten cheese center that oozes perfectly over beef. The Farm Salad which consisted of spring mix, tomato, blue cheese crumbles, sliced almonds, dried cranberries, and raspberry vinaigrette on the side was also very very very tasty, fresh, and a good portion. The strawberry shake was also very good and had pieces of strawberries. Black Label Burgers pride on only using USDA Prime Angus beef that comes from a single source, Double R Ranch, located in Washington State, a family-owned farm known for its responsible practices and superior beef. You can definitely taste the richness and juiciness of the beef. My husband had the Red Label Burger ($13.25) and the PB&J shake ($7.75). He really enjoyed his meal as well. I really liked the inside decor and the laid back vibes. Black Label Burgers is great for a quick lunch, a night out with friends, or a family dinner. I am looking forward to my next visit.

I liked the local (Long Island) themed decor, friendly service, spacious parking lot, wide variety of self-serve beverages (tangy lemonade - yay!) and nicely padded booths. Definitely a cut above competitors like Shake Shack in that regard. I chose the signature black label burger made with dry aged beef and regular fries. While the hand cut fries were wonderfully crispy and flavorful, the burger was kind of disappointing - not terrible, but the bun tasted stale and the meat was very bland. Also I ordered the burger cooked medium but it came out pink in the center, not my preference for chopped meat. Maybe I ordered the wrong item? I plan to try other menu items in the future to see if they hit my taste buds differently.

The "Emoji Burger" Debrief Attempted to have a "civilized"…read morefamily dinner at Emoji Burger in Jackson Heights. Within ten minutes, it became a full-contact sport involving napkins and a high probability of a food coma. The Lineup: The Ori Emo: Pure Pat LaFrieda beef doing the heavy lifting. Classic, juicy, and gone in about four bites. Da Wink: Added applewood bacon because we aren't here to play it safe. It's "wink-at-your-trainer-while-you-skip-the-gym" good. Weary Fries: Appropriately named. Between the mozzarella, grilled corn, and double aioli, these fries are so heavy they should come with a structural engineering permit. BBQ Wings: Hand-battered, crispy, and sweet. The only thing they didn't survive was my sons. The Finish Line: We topped it off with a chocolate shake thick enough to defy physics and their famous bread pudding. That bread pudding is a rich, custard-soaked masterpiece that honestly deserves its own jersey. We're currently sitting in the car wondering if we'll ever need to eat again. 10/10 would definitely roll out of here again. Emoji Burger | 80-07 37th Ave, Queens Vibe: Deliciously messy. Status: Defeated by the Weary Fries.

Getting a quick bite in New York before heading to the airport!…read more I had a few hours before catching my flight back to Chicago, so my friends suggested Emoji Burger. Honestly, it was a pretty good choice! We mostly got burgers and fries. They do have shakes, but I kept it pretty chill and went with a ginger ale. We got everything to go, so I didn't get a chance to really experience the food in person or take photos of the meal as it was served, but everything held up really well as takeout. I also liked the little emoji design on the buns, it was a nice touch! The interior of the restroom was pretty cute too. If you're in the area and looking for a quick burger and fries, I'd say give Emoji Burger a try. It was a solid experience. 3.5 out of 5 stars!

Better appetizers!…read more The onion rings and brussel sprouts are really great. The cauliflower has potential as well. Back to the former, the onions rings are a perennial favorite with hearty onion rings instead of a mashed onion mush. The brussel sprouts were my favorite on a recent visit with charred leafy edges dressed with a sweet balsamic. The cauliflower bites with cut slightly less than a bite, if cut just a little bigger it would have been great but they were tasty nonetheless. As far as the burgers, stick with the original full sized which is probably their best version. Their smash-burgers were NOT a hit on a recent trip. In order for a burger to qualify as a Smash-burger, they have to be smashed, which these weren't. No crusted edges with melted cheese, the buns were not soft, the seasoning on the burgers were also very off. One bite of these burgers reminded me of the ones I had back in public high school cafeteria many moons ago, which wasn't a great memory. The staff were awesome, friendly and helpful!

Tasteful decor, everything is bustling, and folks seem genuinely nice. I was hyped for the double cheeseburger I've read about, but came away disappointed. I'm so bummed because I wanted to be part of the cool kids club who hails the burger as one of NY's best. I very badly wanted to like it, so I felt more disappointed in myself than the restaurant. I found it very salty, so much so that I couldn't finish it. Perhaps it was the egg I added, or maybe my order was a one off, if the person who prepared it had a heavier hand. So take my opinion with a grain of salt (but not the burger, it has plenty). I'm definitely the minority here.
