    Naan bites

All the food there looked so good and the tacos I had and the naan bites were dlish. Also super nice stuff that said I could wait as long as I needed for my car to get fixed. I definitely plan to return soon. It's a little tucked away but definitely worth seeking out

YUM - Mazza Kitchen, I'm a fan! I noticed that this place was around the corner while running errands, and since it was close to lunch time, I decided to stop on by. The small eatery offers breakfast items, hot dogs, burgers, wings, salads, Indian eats, as well as kid options. I ordered the Butter Chicken, which came with rice, chickpeas, and bread - this was super delicious! The butter chicken was thick, creamy, and super flavorful, with a nice little kick to it! The rice was cooked perfectly, and the chickpeas were so yummy - no undercooked chickpeas here! A little side salad with ranch dressing was a nice touch. Don't sleep on their yummy sauces - they have a red and a green sauce, and I personally don't do cilantro, but these sauces were so garlic-y and delicious, they really add another layer to your meal. I'm not sure why others have complaints about the portion sizes but it was extremely filling! Staff were very friendly, kind, and welcoming. There are plenty of seating inside for dining in, but I saw patrons calling ahead as well as do an in-person pickup for to-go orders. This is located in a business plaza type of an area, and there's labeled parking available. I'd love to return and try tout their Chicken Kabob and their Indian-Style Burgers! +delicious Indian eats! +friendly & kind service! +parking available

We arrived early evening and they had a candle and tablecloth on each table. I ordered Baadenjaan Bouranee, luscious eggplant dish; Frenched Rack Of Lamb, perfectly cooked, tender and flavorful; and Pumpkin Dumpling Entree, perfectly sweet, smooth interior and perfectly steamed dumpling wrapper. I will continue to support this establishment.

When we walked in, we were greeted very nicely and sat quickly. Our server was new and it was her first day so she couldn't really give any recommendations which wasn't the best, but the manager came out and was able to help with describing some of the dishes and giving great recommendations. Most of the people that we ate with ended up with some type of lamb dish and the lamb was phenomenal. The rice was delicious. The eggplant was delicious. We got a bunch of appetizers. Everything was on point. Everything tasted super fresh and overall we had a very nice experience. The food also came out very quickly. The overall ambience was very nice very home type vibe and it is a smaller restaurant for limited tables One of our friends that we went with since we haven't seen each other for a long time was really craving a beer and kebabs which sometimes a little bit harder than one would anticipate but they served alcohol as well as delicious food so win-win here. So overall, I would highly recommend this place if you want delicious Afghan food, but of course remember to book in advance .

Lots to like at Smyrna!…read more I highly recommend the 3-course express lunch menu, which includes a starter and dessert. At $24 as of this writing, this is a great value! Decorated in clean blue and white colors, Smyrna has an appealing feel. Smyrna also has a rear patio open during good weather. We were started out with very decent complimentary warm pita bread. For my first (starter) course, I ordered the chicken avgolemono soup. While the soup was packed with tender chicken, I was disappointed that the soup didn't really have much of a tart, lemony flavor. It actually was bland. But what more than made up for the avgolemono soup was the beef Keftdedes I chose for my second course. This dish came with absolutely the best tomato-based sauce I've ever had anywhere anytime! Delicious and fabulous!! The beef keftdedes were plump ground beef patties served over little squares of pita bread and topped with the tomato sauce and also a yogurt sauce. JP ordered the Imam Bayildi, which was good. It came with roasted eggplant, diced tomatoes and diced onions. For our third course (dessert), I ordered the Revani, which was a moist dense semolina cake topped with ice cream and chocolate shavings. Outstanding flavor and texture. Perfect! JP ordered the walnut baklava which was excellent. Service was friendly and fine. Other than the avgolemono soup, this was indeed a five star dining experience.

I visited on a Sunday evening with some friends who hosted me in Alexandria when my flight out of DCA was postponed. I would recommend bringing a couple of friends here to dine, ordering a lot of items and sharing. We started with a couple of spreads, and the Baba Ghannush was my favorite. I also had a Greek salad, and we had some chicken souvlaki. The entrees are shareable and a large portion, and my friend also got an order of soup for the next day, since we knew we'd be snowed in. The service was wonderful, and the inside of the restaurant itself is gorgeous. One word of advice- do NOT sit near the door on a cold day because that wind kept coming into the building. The happy hour and lunch deals are excellent, so if you're nearby, it is worth stopping in.

Overall, if chicken kabobs were on the Cheesecake Factory menu, this version would be on the skinnylicious menu for those counting calories and preferring a healthier less indulgent version since flavors seem muted and textures appear lacking due to insufficient oil/grease.

The service at this visit was pleasant from the front of house staff. They stopped by my table a few times to check on me. Thoughtful and friendly....and nice smiles all around. The food is typically excellent when it is delivered to my home, and dining in did not disappoint me. I thought their Naan was standard and good, but dining inside I appreciated that the Naan was baked to crispy excellence, especially on a cold night like tonight. I am surprised to see how many people roaming here inside the restaurant on a cold Sunday night. I found out later there was a birthday party group enjoying themselves hidden behind me separated by a temporary black partition. Despite the rain this evening, many people are coming into the place to pickup their food items, and the phone oh so busy. Don't expect to bring large groups here. The restaurant has just a few tables inside. They do have a couple tables outside when the weather is good. It will probably be spring or summer when I dine in again. The heater was not working effectively. I will definitely continue to order from this place. Family friendly too. Can be noisy. At least tonight, it was. 4.5 out 5 stars $$
