This is the best experience I had with appliance repairs. Most outfits would just want to come out to give you diagnostic and then upsell bunch of services. Fuse was the first to reply my request and tried to help me hone in the problem over messaging. After getting responses from others, I felt Fuse was on top of their game, and they make the appointment process very easy. Eric was the technician who showed up and was he knowledgeable. He communicates very well and we learned a lot from him. We even asked problems we have with other appliances and he was very eager to help. Great service! Not only do they have great reviews but I ended up going with them because they were quick to reply, came out the next day and their initial consultation fee was reasonable. They came out and gave me a quote, however, I appreciated that the technician suggested an alternative option, which was to not use the softener tray. Eric mentioned that it would probably drain and fix my problem, unless the issue was with my water pressure (or something like that). Andrey arrived at the scheduled time to check out the orangish flames on on gas stove. Turns out it was just moisture build up by housekeeping during cleaning. He was very honest and didn't have to do any work on the small burners. I was prepared for the worst and thought I needed parts replaced. I had a pot of soup boil over on my GE Monogram gas range which shorted out the electrical wiring. The replacement parts took a week to arrive, but the installation was quick. All said, parts cost about $250 and labor was $180. I made a $400 pot of soup! Nice service when you're in a jam. read more
