You can trust this company! Responded immediately and went above and beyond to help me in this extreme heat. It is incredibly rare to get real help and service from a company, even when they are not getting paid. HVAC went out 3 hours ago and I sent an inquiry in. Bheshad answered my inquiry within minutes via call and text. I texted him some information on troubleshooting I had done and from what I could tell, my blower motor has gone out. He called the supplier to find out if it was in stock but he also was potentially not going to be able to install for a few days. He called me again and offered to help further and walked me through checking one other component to see if I could get it working. Quick trip to home depot to replace a $10 capacitor was all it took and I am up and running! I will only use one HVAC company moving forward, thank you Bheshad! read more

Absolutely amazing company! We heavily rely on Yelp and Google Reviews to find service providers. When researching HVAC service providers, South County Air Services caught my attention because of the five star ratings and the heartfelt comments left by verified customers. I read comments describing how the business owner Behshad, gave honest feedback after diagnosing customers existing air conditioning systems. He didn't practice deception, no high pressure upselling, just an honest assessment of all options whether that included repairs, or replacement. Behshad responded to my request for a diagnosis of our system immediately, and he didn't sugar coat the prognosis on our 40 year old system. It was time to replace our system and he gave us several options for replacement whole house systems. His price was incredibly competitive, we knew his price was below competitors because we had a bid done previously. That previous bid was thousands of dollars higher than the proposed system suggested by Behshad so we recognized the incredible value offered by South County Air Services. We signed off on the proposal that day, 48 hours later the system was installed. It is such a pleasure to enter our home and feel the cold air inside, a pleasure that has evaded us for this entire summer. The two employees who installed the unit were obviously very knowledgeable, efficient, and we greatly enjoyed talking with them. They thoroughly explained our new system, they walked us through the maintenance steps that will help us get many years of service life from our new system. I am grateful to South County Air Services! I would not write a review if I was not 100% willing to tie my own reputation to this company, something I do willingly and wholeheartedly. read more

Beshad to the rescue again! Our A/C went out on the hottest day of the year. Called South County Air after hours and Beshad responded letting me know he would call me in the morning to schedule an appointment. Made an appointment that morning. Beshad was able to diagnose a bad capacitor needed to be replaced. He replaced it in minutes and our A/C was fixed. Beshad is the best and I would not call anyone else for HVAC service. read more

Had these guys come out in May to check my AC unit. Was quoted a service that was $2.4k to fix that was fixed by another vendor for $500. A quick AI check of the recommended service pointed out some clear flaws and over charges for service. Do not recommend. read more

Behshad got back in touch with me very quickly and came out to my home in a couple of days to check my A/C unit which was running but not putting out cold air. He ran a couple of tests and measured the temperature of the air from the vents and then looked at the filter. Just the filter needed replacing and problem solved. He didn't try to upsell me on something I didn't need. I really appreciate honest service people! Thank you, Behshad! read more

This is definitely the best company to call for HVAC services! We were getting nowhere and extremely frustrated with our previous company. Behshad showed up and enlightened us to so many things we were unaware of that our previous company totally failed us on. When they had installed the air conditioner, the ducts had a poorly designed arrangement which made our air conditioner pretty much worthless. I had two service calls from the prior company to try and addess this issue with no results and was waiting for a third service call when I decided we had had enough of this company. There was asbestos thrown to the side in our attic. I could go on but once Behshad showed up and told us what we needed and explained why we were totally on board with his plan. He had the asbestos safely removed and removed all the previous ducts and supplied us with new, better ones, in a better arrangement. He and his team were amazing and we are extremely appreciative and grateful how fast Behshad took care of things especially considering the was during the extreme heat advisory. Competentcy, reliability and caring is what you'll get with the company!!!! read more

This company is amazing friendly and honest. Which is key when dealing with home repair. No one wants to be taken for a ride. They are prompt and very professional. Clean and orderly. And pricing is fair for the quality you receive. Thank you again Behshad! It was great doing business with you. read more

South County Air Services responds quickly to service calls. They replaced our AC unit in June 2026. We were provided with options that would best meet our needs and a clear quote for each of the options. There were no gimmicks and we felt taken care of throughout the process. The quoted price was the price that we paid, there were no surprises after the job was completed. The communication was excellent. The technicians are skilled and friendly and we are very happy with our new AC unit as we prepare for the summer. We have South County Air Services on speed dial now! read more

We've been repeat customers for our annual AC maintenance, and we just completed our latest annual service. Three years ago, after years of neglect, our system was in poor condition. The owner personally diagnosed the root cause and fixed the issue, saving us a significant amount of money. Since then, we've kept up with yearly preventive maintenance, and our AC has been running flawlessly. If you need a reliable professional for AC inspection, maintenance, or repairs, this is the company to call. read more

I can't recommend this company enough! My AC was blowing cold, but the airflow upstairs was incredibly weak. The owner (Behshad) came by and really took the time to investigate the root cause rather than just suggesting an expensive fix. After thoroughly checking the ductwork in the attic, he discovered the original furnace installers in the garage hadn't sealed the unit properly, letting all that cold air leak out. He was incredibly professional and honest, finding a solution that saved me a lot of money. He even waived the fee for the diagnostic visit and is sending an installer back on my schedule to finish the job. If you need someone reliable for your AC, this is the team to call. Five stars!" read more

Contacted South County Air Services to help install a couple smart thermostats. Setting up the appt was super easy and convenient and quoted pricing was more than fair. They were available the next day, for prompt service. To fit my schedule, we scheduled for 2 days later and arrival was prompt, squarely within the window agreed. Henry was my technician and he was stellar! Great communicatiom and advice and he went over and beyond in explaining the details of the thermostat with me and triple checked to make sure everything was in working order before he left. Henry was clearly very knowledgable and experienced, his service was stellar with friendly service. Would highly recommend South County Air Services to anyone, and of course, will keep them in my rolodex for any future HVAC related issues! read more

Very positive experience. My AC stopped producing cold air but I saw the fan running whenever I turned it on. Behshad was able to come check out my issue in about 2 hours from calling. He was very professional and friendly and even walked me along as he troubleshot the issue since I was curious as a new home owner. Turns out it the capacitor went bad and needed a replacement. The job was done quickly and the final price was reasonable. I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience. read more

Hands down the best AC repair company in town. Honest, straightforward, skillful and professional. I got a quote from a different company for my broken AC with a diagnosis which causes higher price. I called this company for a second opinion, and the owner Behshad gave me a different diagnosis which causes less price and fix the true issue. Very professional and experienced. You can trust Behshad's expertise and judgement. I am so lucky to find you. I will refer you to all my friends in OC!! My 14 year old HVAC condenser finally went kaput during the hottest months of the year this September. I knew it was on its final leg and was getting quotes from various HVAC companies in the area. Unfortunately HVAC companies tend to price gouge especially desperate folks during this time of year, and I got my share of ridiculous quotes. I also got quite a few quotes from companies that I didn't trust, or I didn't feel like they understood my house properly. Behshad and his company, South County Air Services, are top notch. I was referred to him by a very good friend of mine who had such a great experience with him. The reference helped, but then I saw all his glowing reviews. He is trustworthy, a good businessperson, and will not leave you until your system is working great and you are happy with it. I'm very impressed with his attention to detail and his crew's professionalism. I had a few hiccups initially after install that he was able to diagnose and correct quickly. A lot of this is because I could tell he cared about his reputation and more over his customer. Thank you Behshad for being a model example of professionalism in HVAC! read more

I recently needed to have my AC units replaced. I interviewed a number of the companies that were highly rated on Yelp. They all presented well, but their prices varied widely. Beshad, the owner of South County Air Services quoted me a reasonable price based on the other estimates. Throughout the process he was very quick to respond to my texts and emails. He was helpful and informative. When I inquired if other work was potentially needed, he advised that it was not saving me unnecessary expense. When the units were installed, the installers arrived on time. They were friendly, efficient, clean, and answered my questions. One of my units arrived slightly damaged from the supplier and the installers refused delivery. I really appreciated them looking out for me and ensuring the units they installed were in perfect condition. Once the work was completed Beshad personally inspected it to ensure everything met his company's standards. The good experience did not end there. In the days following I had a question regarding my system and I texted Beshad fairly late in the evening, thinking he would respond the next morning. Much to my surprise, he responded immediately and the next day stopped by to ensure that I had all the information I needed. I really enjoy giving my business to a company where the owner is heavily involved and his name and the reputation of his company are very important to him. South County Air Services is among a handful of companies I have dealt with over the years that I would recommend to family members. read more

María was friendly and responsive! 1 out of 5 - Disappointing First Visit I reached out to South County Air Services for a leaking AC issue. The technician was friendly and arrived quickly, which I appreciated. However, I was disappointed that no formal written estimate was ever provided, even after the visit. What really gave me pause was the suggestion that we could fix the problem ourselves by buying PEX piping and drilling through our stucco to reroute the condensation leak. That didn't inspire much confidence. The quoted price also kept shifting--from $100 to $150 to $175 --without a clear explanation. Because of the uncertainty and lack of clarity, we decided to get a second and third opinion. Ultimately, we went with a different company that was more transparent and professional in their approach. We ended up needing a Reconstruction of the drainage system using a condensate pump. I'm just glad I was able to get an accurate diagnosis and repair with another company. read more

These guys saved me $800 and didn't even know it (well, they will if they read this). They deserve recognition for honest, no-nonsense work. I called them out of frustration with another company I'd used for past jobs. That company diagnosed my gas furnace issue (annoying whistling noise) and quoted $800 for a valve replacement. When I asked "What happens if you're wrong?" they didn't respond for days. When they finally did, the tech just said he was 99% sure it was the valve--which still didn't answer my question. Frustrated, I went back to Yelp looking for a second opinion. I found South County Air Services, messaged them through their website, and got a quick callback. They scheduled me for the next day. Note: I didn't share with South County anything about this other company, what they found or what they proposed. Anyway, the tech showed up, was super courteous, put on booties to protect my carpet, and diagnosed the same issue. But here's the BIG DIFFERENCE: he offered to adjust the valve instead of replacing it. Cost: $99. Problem solved. The other company didn't even mention adjustment as an option--they went straight to the $800 replacement. South County Air Services proved they're knowledgeable, honest, and actually looking out for their customers. 5 well-deserved stars! read more

We're still in the process of waiting for parts but so far Behshad has been great. He arrived early in the window of time we were given and texted me when he was on his way. He's very knowledgeable about the type of repair needed and is giving us options- trying the simplest, cheapest option first, and if that doesn't work we'll have to replace a more expensive part. I also appreciate that he's telling us upfront about replacement costs since our unit is 19 years old. It's helpful to be able to evaluate all the possible options, understanding the costs of each ahead of time. read more

Thank you Behshad and team. Small business without salespeople, just the humble owner who wants to provide the best value and service. He answers questions promptly and honestly and provides information to allow you to make educated decisions comparing apples to apples. Uses the best product only.
