Turned out, it was the capacitor in the a/c unit, so in our backyard. Luke explained everything and gave us a quote. We agreed and he fixed it in less than an hour. A/C was up and running. Luke also helped us changed out the filter. Clear and positive communication throughout the entire process. We felt that they were honest and price was fair. Very happy with the service and highly recommend 1st Choice.

Shane and his crew were punctual, immediately set to work on removing the old, large heating system and outdoor unit, and worked tirelessly all day! We were constantly informed of each step - where the routing of tubing within the garage would be placed with attachment to the outside unit, and where its' location had to be, etc.. At completion, the system was tested, along with our Venstar thermostat - all functioned perfectly, and the property was left in impeccable condition! McShane was our technician and he's the reason I'm even leaving a 5 star review. He explained what he was doing and answered all my questions. He was respectful of the property, used shoe covers before entering, and asked permission before moving things around. You notice those little things when you've had a bad experience in the past. I had a bit of a touchy situation where a rodent got into my AC condenser outside and I had no clue how to manage it. I use Thumbtack to find a couple of contractors, and the first company came out and quoted me over $3K to clean my condenser and cleanup my air ducts, and tried to scare me into a $10K revamp of the entire system in my attic saying that the air quality was harmful to our health. I was a bit weary and decided to get a second opinion... Sydney contacted me from One Season, and assured me that they would be able to take a look and take care of the situation. She was extremely kind and understanding given my concerns. Aubrey was my technician and as I mentioned above, was just amazing. Helped me with disposal of the critter, cleaned out my entire AC condenser and told me he would include it with diagnostic fee, which technically he didn't have to do since the system was still working, so he applied that fee to the clean up. He still took everything apart and did an inspection and checked everything out for me to make sure it was running properly. Was very informative and educational and told me signs to watch out for as my system is approaching 20 years old. Did a full inspection of my attic system and did point out some things that I might want to take a look at in the future, but never once tried to push a sale, install, or upsell anything. As is normal with any maintenance company, he did introduce their maintenance plan to me which I welcomed since I know my system is aging. And upon signing up for the annual maintenance plan, he actually waived my diagnostic fee... so he didn't even charge me for my service call! I mean my mind was just BLOWN! Rodent gone... Check! AC condenser clean... Check! AC in good working order... Check! Things to watch for... Check! Peace of mind... CHECK!! I went from a $3000 scare tactic quote saying the air quality in my home being harmful to my family's health to an honest assessment of my home's system, and what I could expect in the next few years given the age of the system. I feel so much better now, and can also prepare myself! Thank you, Aubrey and One Season, so much for the amazing service and the integrity and honesty that you brought to this job. They had a look at my water heater and determined it needed to be replaced. We had been wanting to get a new tankless water heater for quite some time but my husband wanted to wait until we were in need of replacing our current hot water heater tank. Steve gave us a quote for replacing our current 75 gallon water heater with a tankless Navien model that would go in our garage in the same place as our old water heater. The price was fair and we agreed to go with the work. Later that morning Efficient Plumbing ordered our tankless water heater, delivered it, removed our old water heater and installed the new tankless water heater for us. They did an amazing job with all the necessary modifications to make the conversion from tank to tankless and we were thrilled with the end result. We now have endless hot water that we once never had. Efficient Plumbing has once again came to our rescue when we have been in need of a plumber! They are the best plumbers and I will continue working with them on any future projects or improvements that we may need.

This is any homeowners nightmare and I called Efficient Plumbing right away. We have used them for many years and sadly this wasn't our first water leak. Evelin answered the phone and walked me through on how to shut the water off to the house immediately to stop the water damage. Hector came out within the hour and got to work diagnosing our issue. He is knowledgeable and very experienced and we always feel like we are in good hands. Our ceiling was opened and it turned out to be a copper pin hole leak on the water line in the ceiling above the dining room that feeds our master bathroom. Hector skillfully repaired the water leak and also advised us to consider a whole house repipe since this was not our first leak. They gave us their estimate the same day for the whole house repipe and even offered to credit the repairs made with Hector towards the repipe which was a big help. We decided to move forward and had them repipe our whole house the following week. They got it done in one day and everything went great! A few days later the drywall was patched up and we were all done! There are many many plumbers in our area but after years of consistent quality workmanship and customer service, I only use and trust Efficient Plumbing.

We called Benjamin for a second opinion after another company quoted us almost $2,000 for AC repairs, and we're so glad we did. He took his time to really diagnose the issue instead of rushing to a conclusion, and he was thorough and detail-oriented throughout the whole process. He found the actual problem, which turned out to be a fraction of what we were originally quoted -- total cost came out to less than $200. You can trust Airotech with getting the best equipment or repair at the best price. Also the service is done on time. My air conditioner condenser in the backyard needed to be replaced due to a coolant leak in the old condenser. To cut a long story short, I have not had good experiences with HVAC companies in the past where they try to scare you into paying for overpriced (and unnecessary) replacement parts, expensive service plans, and then end up doing shoddy work. I had read through all the reviews on Yelp for a HVAC company I could trust, and finally narrowed my choices down to Stanley at Irvine AC. I emailed the company about what I needed done....that is, AC was not cooling as it should, and to have my themostat replaced to a smart one. The response was quick and detailed....and surprised me as it was on a weekend and I didn't expect any reply till the following work week. Anyway, I later learned that it was Stanely himself who responded to my email, informing me what he would do, what it would cost, and even made several suggestions on thermostats for me to consider over the rest of the weekend....I really appreciated that. Anyway, Stanley texted me 20-30 minutes before ETA...nice....and arrived on time. He nicely greeted me, came prepared with his bag of tools,and a fully equipped van, and was even respectful enough to have brought shoe covers so as not to dirty our floors.....very good impression made so far. Stanley went to the AC unit outside to do his diagnosis and some time later came back to tell me what he found and made suggestions to fix the problem. It seemed the capacitor the previous HVAC tech installed was an unapproved model, and they had left the gas caps off, which is why the AC's freon had been leaking all these years, making the air in my home not cool. OMG! I couldn't believe it....finally, a solution! Stanley then gave us a breakdown as to what everything would cost, and I was pleasantly surprised it sounded very fair (compare to my neighbor who recently had his AC serviced). He also told us what we did and didn't need, never tried to upsell me into expensive parts and services, and definitely didn't try to sell me some overpriced service plan. Just simple, honest, friendly and fair expert service...that's it. I had a bit of a touchy situation where a rodent got into my AC condenser outside and I had no clue how to manage it. I use Thumbtack to find a couple of contractors, and the first company came out and quoted me over $3K to clean my condenser and cleanup my air ducts, and tried to scare me into a $10K revamp of the entire system in my attic saying that the air quality was harmful to our health. I was a bit weary and decided to get a second opinion... Sydney contacted me from One Season, and assured me that they would be able to take a look and take care of the situation. She was extremely kind and understanding given my concerns. Aubrey was my technician and as I mentioned above, was just amazing. Helped me with disposal of the critter, cleaned out my entire AC condenser and told me he would include it with diagnostic fee, which technically he didn't have to do since the system was still working, so he applied that fee to the clean up. He still took everything apart and did an inspection and checked everything out for me to make sure it was running properly. Was very informative and educational and told me signs to watch out for as my system is approaching 20 years old. Did a full inspection of my attic system and did point out some things that I might want to take a look at in the future, but never once tried to push a sale, install, or upsell anything. As is normal with any maintenance company, he did introduce their maintenance plan to me which I welcomed since I know my system is aging. And upon signing up for the annual maintenance plan, he actually waived my diagnostic fee... so he didn't even charge me for my service call! I mean my mind was just BLOWN! Rodent gone... Check! AC condenser clean... Check! AC in good working order... Check! Things to watch for... Check! Peace of mind... CHECK!! I went from a $3000 scare tactic quote saying the air quality in my home being harmful to my family's health to an honest assessment of my home's system, and what I could expect in the next few years given the age of the system. I feel so much better now, and can also prepare myself! Thank you, Aubrey and One Season, so much for the amazing service and the integrity and honesty that you brought to this job. I am so very grateful to have found you. You've got a lifelong customer in me!! 100/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
